Chapter 114: AFTER CERES DIED V

Xhylan made it to S Country. It was snowing heavily, and he wondered why the man chose to recuperate in this place. It was like a winter wonderland, and he could have enjoyed the scenery if not for his main purpose. 

He didn't want to admit it, but his gut feeling was telling him that he was falling into the enemy's trap. Even so, he continued with his plan. 

"It doesn't matter if they're leading me into their trap. As long as I get to call him, I wouldn't really mind dying. I have prepared myself for the worst-case scenario." 

Instead of booking an expensive hotel like he used to, Xhylan chose an ordinary inn this time. The young male staff led him to his room, and he lay on his bed for a moment. As soon as he closed his eyes, the image of Ceres – her kind and warm smile, appeared in his mind and he teared up once again.
