Chapter 22: I can't forgive her.
Jason saw a lady walking in. She was in a well-fitted black suit, she looked tall wearing a white four-inch pump and with a white handbag.
She walked towards him and he assumed her to be Angel Addams.
"You must be Mr. Anderson?" She asked him before sitting.
Jason nodded.
"So what are we ordering?" Angel asked rubbing both of her hands.
Jason just stared at her, she was actually attractive but she seemed like the kind of girl who doesn't like too much flashy stuff.
She wasn't in any heavy makeup, her hair was packed in a ponytail but she wasn't his type.
"Do you think I invited you here to eat?".
I haven't had lunch yet" Angel wasn't embarrassed.
Jason sat properly "Ms. Addams".
Yes".
Who's the fake Ms. Angel Addams who went on a date with me?" Jason wanted to get to the root of the matter.
I don't know. I hired her through an agency to act a part" Angel lied with her eyes closed.
Jason sighed, he knew she was lying, it was so obvious.
I don't know her face or her name, she's a complete stranger".
Jason stared at her heels and pointed to it
"But...the shoe that the lady wore to the date looked exactly like this one".
Angel smiled warmly "There's no way, hers was Prada and this is Saint Laurent... don't be mistaken".
Jason shook his head with a smile "I thought she was a complete stranger??".
He asked her on purpose and she fell into his trap like an animal.
She wasn't as smart as she looked" Jason thought.
Angel used her both hands to cover her mouth in exclamation.
The elders in our families will be so pissed at you".
Are you going to tell them the truth? Let's just say that it didn't work out" Angel froze for a moment.
If you want me to do that, bring her here".
Who?".
You know who I'm talking about" Jason signaled to the waiter.
Let her order anything" Jason walked out of the restaurant with a smirk.
What will you like to order ma'am?" the waitress asked calmly.
Angel stood up, ignoring the waitress, she left.
She entered her car and hit the steering wheel severally "What do I do?".
Nora's call came in and Angel was hesitant to take the call.
How was it? Did it go well? I have been so worried" Nora's text messages came in also.
Everything is fine" Angel replied with a happy emoji.

Jason got home and took his bath before coming back downstairs.
Butler Park, let's have a drink" Jason was so stressed, and drinking with Butler Park was one of his ways of de-stressing.
Thankfully, his mother wasn't at home. She was on her usual tour around the city, sleeping from one hotel to another.
His mom had a very annoying way of enjoying herself.
She loved parties, traveling, and other stressful and annoying things.
Butler Park ordered the maids to bring drinks and two glass cups.
All the maids in the house knew that Butler Park was second-in-command in the house.
They all wished they had the same opportunity he had, to sit with the boss, laugh, and joke with him.
Butler Park sat on the ground "You should have friends that can do this with you. I'm way too older to be your friend".
"People are annoying and betrayals".
How was the meeting with Ms. Addams?" Butler Park opened the alcoholic wine and served it in both cups.
It's productive" Jason said with a grin.
Since the Angel who came to the blind date was fake, do you still want to know her better?
She dared to waste my time and said all those things".
I guess she didn't want an arranged marriage, so don't get mad at her".
I'm talking about the fake Ms. Addams" Jason stared at Butler Park.
"She was just a substitute and said all those things. She even said I wasn't handsome" Jason took a large gulp of his wine.
Butler Park itched his eyebrows "That's a weird direction you're taking your anger".
I can't forgive her" Jason poured more wine into his glass.
