Chapter 63: Trial (10)
[A/N: I Got dragged by my family to go hiking to celebrate being top of the class, Updates will resume today.]
"Before that, how to use the steel and fairy type energy to fight? Last question, after this one I'll go immediately in the morning." Xu Shuang asked.
'Fight!! Fight!! Why you ask questions?! Go fight already!' Tinkaton roared inside urging her to fight Yin Jinyun.
"Answer this question first, this is really the last one." Xu Shuang smiled lightly demanding an answer.
'Okay! Here, you can use energy. Now, Go FIGHT!!' Tinkaton shouted as it transmitted a flow of memories to Xu Shuang.
But, sadly enough Xu Shuang didn't manage to respond as she quickly fell asleep under the huge amount of memories.
In her sleep, Xu Shuang dreamt that she was a Tinkatink, life was so hard that many steel-type Pokemon came to steal her small hammer so she ends up making a new one.
She also fought many fights with other Pokemon that wants to eat her, utilizing the energy of steel and fairy to fight.
After a long life of struggling to survive through determination and grit, she evolved into a Tinkatuff and finally got accepted into the clan.
From then on life started to be good, accompanying the clan to hunt other corviknights or any steel type when they feel like it.
And in no time through waging wars with other Pokemon clans for resources, she eventually evolved into a Tinkaton gaining great prestige in the clan.
With her great strength mastery of energy manipulation and fighting style, she led the clan to many victories but unfortunately got besieged five years after her birth and died on the battlefield.
With her death in the dream, Xu Shuang woke up in reality and found Ye Lingling sleeping on the other bed in the infirmary.
"What is that dream?" Xu Shuang muttered to herself with sweat on her forehead, the dream she had just now seems too realistic as if she lived through that life herself.
'That not dream! That my life! Me a great leader! Me fought many times, grabbed land, win food for the clan!' Tinkaton shouted from inside her once again.
Xu Shuang's expression changed, then wouldn't the things she experience real? She then seem to think of something and mobilized the energy in her body.
A pink wind materialized in her hand with sparkles mixed in it, making it look cute and beautiful.
The wind then slammed into the wall blowing all the items out of its way, the items fell to the ground and created a clanking sound that woke Ye Lingling up.
"What happened Xu Shuang?" Ye Lingling got up from the bed in alarm when she heard the sound and looked around to see if there's any enemy.
But she was shocked when she saw the pink wind flowing into the room from Xu Shuang's hand, then she was curious about the wind as she extended her arm to touch it.
"Wow! What is this wind, Xu Shuang? It's so beautiful!" Ye Lingling exclaimed in happiness as she felt the wind wrap around her.
"This is a new skill I developed from the characteristics of my martial spirit, it's time for me to fight that dragon again in the morning." Xu Shuang answered her question and got up from the bed to start cooking food.
While eating Xu Shuang couldn't help but think, ' The fairy typing is strong in dealing with dragons, will it be the same here when I use it against Yin Jinyun?'
She quickly ate all of her meals and went outside to challenge the dragon trying to see if her thoughts are correct.
Yin Jinyun opened her eyes when she felt a presence coming near, she stood up and stretched out her majestic wings as she asked.
"Has thou rested deep enough, and now wishes to challenge thyself?"
"Thy has rested and wishes for a formal challenge!" Xu Shuang shouted playing along with this dragon chunnibyou disease.
"Very well, thou prepare thouself for the battle is now starting!" Yin Jinyun roared and soared up into the sky waiting for Xu Shuang to possess her martial spirit.
Xu Shuang possessed her martial spirit as fairy wind appeared around her, Yin Jinyun frowned when she saw the pink wind, she actually felt disgusted by that wind, it kept making her feel uncomfortable.
Xu Shuang caught onto this, she smiled thinking that the fairy attribute is still the natural enemy of the dragons in this world, although it has a worse effect, such little change can lead into big changes in the battle between them.
White light gathered in front of Xu Shuang, then as she hit the white light it turned into a beam of white light that hit the surprised Yin Jinyun creating a cloud of smoke.
Flash Cannon!
Xu Shuang used a move many steel-type pokemon learns, as it's the strongest long range attack she currently has.
"Thou has held back in the previous match?" The cloud cleared up revealing Yin Jinyun who had a small scratch on its wings.
"Hahaha, I have got an idea in the previous match and developed it." Xu Shuang laughed without feeling shame that she got this from her martial spirit since they are essentially twins.
"Good! Good! Thyself is getting excited! Come! Bring out thee's greatest strength and fight!" Yin Jinyun laughed as she praised Xu Shuang for her cleverness, the dragon got excited as it roared and swund its claws at Xu Shuang.
Play rough!
Xu Shuang bursted in pink light and jumped straight at Yin Jinyun a cloud of smoke appeared around them after their first collision, the dragon roared in pain as it felt the disgusting energy slam against her body.
It's like sticking a toothpick under your nail, extremely disgusting and extremely painful as well.
Xu Shuang eyes lit up when she heard the roar thinking, ' maybe this is the correct way to fight, use the skills of the Tinkaton clan as self-created spirit skills to fight!'
As she used more play rough on Yin Jinyun, the dragon kept roaring in pain as bruises appeared on its body, painting the silver body with circles.
"Gigaton Hammer!"
With a loud shout, Xu Shuang's hammer enlarged by at least three times becoming the same size as the dragon, with one final smash of the hammer the dragon was sent to the ground creating a large crater and amassing a large cloud of dust.
Xu Shuang landed on the ground as she panted while looking at the cloud of smoke she muttered under her bated breath.
"Did that do it?"
The cloud of smoke cleared up as Yin Jinyun stood up with great effort, her silver body all bloodied with circular dents bleeding with blood all over her body.
Her body also lost a lot of its silver scales making it original graceful body seem barbaric. She stared at Xu Shuang with red eyes brimming with excitement and anger.
Excitement for an exciting match that will come, anger for what Xu Shuang has done to her gorgeous body.
"Come! Let's fight for hundreds of rounds, Xu Shuang!" It roared finally using Xu Shuang's name to address her.
