Chapter 6: Chakra and.....
After his "fight" with Itachi, Saito committed himself to his training. He'd exercise every morning and then go spar with Sasuke, although it was boring he still had to keep up the appearance of a rivalry until the Uchiha massacre happened.
Saito would head to the woods and run till his legs shook, but even then, he didn't stop. He would begin kicking wood with each leg until it felt numb and when he could barely maintain to stand up, Saito would start punching the ground as hard as he could. His knuckles had to bleed for him to stop.
He never planned on training like this. Saito wanted to take it slow and try not to hurt his body, but the fight with Itachi made him realize how far behind he was. He thought it'd be easy to catch up, but Saito now understands he was being naïve. Even as he was training, Itachi was garnering more experience and getting stronger.
If Saito hoped to defeat him, he'd have to use drastic measures.
Saito grunted as he felt his skin peel from his continuous punches.
'I truly underestimated him. Itachi was already defeating multiple Jonins at 12, even though he's 10 now, he's probably already at Jonin-level strength. I'll need to awaken my chakra tonight. It'll help me heal faster. It's only been a few days since I started this training and my parents are already getting suspicious of the hand wraps. My father asked why my hands smelt like blood. I had to lie and say I accidentally scratched it on the ground.
Saito finally stopped feeling the pain in his hands. It was completely numb. "guess it's time to go home."
With an extreme struggle, Saito stood up. His legs were still shaking, but he relaxed them a bit. He didn't want anyone to notice his injuries. He took some hand wraps and put them around his fists, stopping the bleeding. After walking for what he felt to be hours, he finally got home. His mom and dad were not there. He'd heard they were going to some clansmen meeting, but he didn't care. Immediately he started eating what they left him. He only stopped once his stomach looked like that of a pregnant woman.
"*burp* I guess most of these anime weren't unrealistic. Training this hard has gotten me so damn hungry"
Saito crawled his way upstairs. "Awakening your chakra requires meditation and, in most stories, the characters just try to find some strange energy in their bodies, so I'll try that first."
Saito sat on the floor as he began meditating. It particularly was easy. 'alright search deep inside my body.' He felt himself entering a small trance, he immediately felt a strange energy in his body.'So this is my chakra?'
He focused on making it spread around his body. Even in his meditative state, he could feel it nourishing his body. His wounds didn't hurt anymore, and he felt free, almost as if the chains holding him back were gone. Eventually, he felt most of the chakra center itself in his stomach.
'my potential is endless no-' his thoughts paused as he sensed something else in his body. It was similar to chakra, but it felt minuscule but greater at the same time. 'is this senjutsu chakra? no, it'd be impossible at a time like this.'
He got closer to it. This energy felt incomplete. If his chakra had an aura, it'd be blue, but this felt blank, not white, but transparent. Saito concluded to try expanding it through his body. He sensed it spreading through his nerves. It didn't rest in his stomach instead, he could feel it stopping in his head.
Saito jumped up from his meditation. He stood up and ran to the bathroom, getting ready to inspect his body. His appearance was the same, excluding the fact he looked healthier and his body was completely healed. His interior was what shocked him. He could feel the chakra and the weird energy roaming through his body.
"I'll try using chakra first." he took a piece of paper and put it on his arm. He willed a small amount of chakra to come out. He felt a small amount leaving his body, but the paper stuck to his skin for only a second. "I'll have to continuously release chakra for it to stick."
Realizing this, Saito tried again. He focused on releasing a constant small amount in the same area, and it worked. The paper was sticking. After a minute, Saito stopped. "My control is already better than that of an academy student. Tomorrow I'll practice the tree climbing exercise."
All he needed to do now was figure out this strange energy. He took a deep breath and tried releasing it through his arm, but it didn't work. "Maybe I didn't use enough." He released a large portion throughout his body, but once again, nothing happened.
"guess this doesn't have a use yet. " Saito moved and accidentally pushed a shampoo bottle off the counter, but it was falling at the speed of a feather. Saito moved and picked it up before it could even reach the floor.
Saito suddenly felt mentally exhausted. "wait a minute, I moved while my perception was slowed"
'this strange energy somehow allows my body to keep up with it but it's severely made me exhausted. I have to find out more tomorrow. I can barely stay awake right now.'
Saito made it to his room. He immediately fell down on his bed and entered a deep sleep. Although he didn't know it, the strange energy was already mixing in with his chakra...

Firstly, some of you may question how he was able to awaken chakra that easily and also be able to control it this quickly. The simple answer is cause he's a genius. As I stated, our main character will find almost everything easy to do. His new ability might seem overpowered, but I will explain it in the next chapter. I purposely made this a brief chapter.
