"Katsutoshi!! If you don't wake up right this instant, you won't get any breakfast."
A woman's voice was heard by a half-sleeping boy. When the boy heard 'Katsutoshi', he decided to go back to sleep but when he heard his punishment he almost fell from his bed in shock.
"I'm awake.... I'm awake, don't take away my breakfast old hag."
The boy, namely Katsutoshi, replied with a tired and lazy tone while opening his tired eyes. The 'old hag' twitched her eyebrows before screaming at the lazy boy.
"Who the hell are you calling old? I'm still young."
Katsutoshi looked at the woman with a plain look that seemed to be screaming 'Are you serious?'. The woman, perhaps losing confidence in her own statement, just left the room after 'kindly' reminding him of the punishment. Katsutoshi got up from his bed and went to brush his teeth.
Looking at his face he only had one thought:
'I look adorable now.'
In truth Katsutoshi is actually not of this world, or atleast his mind isn't. One year ago he reincarnated into the body of a boy who had the same name as him. At first he panicked, but forcefully calmed himself to read his situation properly.
He didn't gain any of this body's previous memories but considering he inhabited the body of a 6 year old he didn't overly worry about acting like his predecessor. As if luck was on his side, the previous Katsutoshi acted a bit similar to him albeit with much lesser maturity.
After observing and investigating his surroundings for a day, he gained shocking amounts of information. Firstly, he is an orphan since his birth. Secondly, he is in a village named the Leaf Village with a head/ruler called Hokage, with a large monument containing 4 heads. That is to say, he is in the Naruto Universe as a Hidden Leaf Villager. Thirdly, he has nearly 0% chance of having a bloodline of any sort.
All these conclusions shocked Katsutoshi but he still tried to control his shock and decided to do what any other weeb would want to do in his situation, grow stronger.
Recalling his Naruto knowledge, Katsutoshi knew that if he wanted to grow stronger he would have to start by increasing his physique and knowledge. Afterall, Chakra is created when two primal energies, known collectively as one's "stamina", are molded together. 'Physical energy' is collected from each of the body's cells and can be increased through training, stimulants, and exercise whilst 'Spiritual energy' is derived from the mind's consciousness and can be increased through studying, meditation, and experience.
These two energies becoming more powerful will in turn make the created chakra more powerful. Therefore, practicing a technique repeatedly will build up experience, increasing one's spiritual energy, and thus allowing more chakra to be created. As a result, the ninja is able to do that same technique with more power. This same cycle applies for physical energy, except the ninja needs to increase their endurance instead.
Some unique individuals have substantial potential that enables them to exponentially increase their chakra reserves in a relatively short amount of time. Katsutoshi however highly doubts that he is one of them and thus will not consider this for himself.
Keeping all this knowledge in mind, Katsutoshi created a training plan that would be implemented atleast till his entry into the Ninja Academy. Since he did not have any ninjutsu, genjutsu etc., he could only improve his physical energy by exercising and training and spiritual energy by gaining more knowledge and meditation.
At the same time he also practiced to improve his accuracy and precision by using stones to hit a marked target. He could only do so much as an orphan and so in order to gain even a small amount of money, he worked part-time at the shop nearest to the Konoha Orphanage.
Presently, after eating his breakfast and thanking his caretaker, Ichika Sato a medic ninja, he goes to the nearby trees and continues to train his physique as usual when he heard a voice in his head.

At first, Katsutoshi was startled before he became excited. He started saying each command he knew of to open his possible status screen.

Katsutoshi looked at his 'system' and saw many parameters.
"None? Is my chakra and other parameters so bad?"
Katsutoshi who never had anyone to compare to, only now realized how 'weak' he was. Naturally, Katsutoshi who was comparing himself with protagonists and co-protagonists considered himself weak, not realizing he was already above average among civilians.
"In 2 days there will be a written and physical entrance test for the ninja academy. For now, I will raise all my parameters to Genin(weak), which will let me enter the same class as clan students, after which for the rest of the academy years I will only focus on increasing my comprehension memory and Instinct."
Deciding on his use of strengthening points, Katsutoshi strengthens his stats.

Katsutoshi tried to ask again with different ways but still did not gain a response thus confirming that the system is not sentient. This made Katsutoshi breathe a sigh of relief since a non-sentient system is more useful and trustworthy then a sentient one.
'Increased Physique to Genin(weak) without using system. Gained 0.5 Strengthening Point. This suggests that personally training these physical stats and parameters without the system will give me points. Even those with Uchiha and Senju bloodlines can reach Kage level at most let alone me so I should atleast train my stats to Jonin level without the system. Only Vitality, Chakra Quality, Comprehension, Memory and Instinct need to be increased through the system. Atleast I don't have to worry about Comprehension and Instinct for a long time. Meanwhile, I need to learn new ways to gain Strengthening Points.'
Katsutoshi wondered what levels Rare and Legendary are and so tried.

'Crap, Instinct needs 50 points so it should already be among the best. Right?'

'It seems my Instinct is the highest and Comprehension is second highest. That makes me relieved. Atleast there will be no problems in learning and perhaps creating new techniques.'
Katsutoshi, satisfied with his new found strength, goes for his part time job the last time. According to his caretaker, once he enters the ninja academy he would gain a monthly fund from the academy as an orphan which would be 2500 Ryo per month till graduation. Although not much, it is much more then his earning from his part-time job.
Returning home he watches the kids being solemn for tomorrows entrance test, a funny sight to behold. Katsutoshi who isn't a friend with any of them did not bother easing their worries. He just smiled and walked past them to his room to sleep, confident about tomorrow's test.
