"What am I doing in your room?" Karina narrowed her eyes, waiting for the answer to that one question she just couldn't figure out the answer.
"I should be asking you that. What are you doing in my room?" Veron decided to play with her mind a little. But seeing how her jaw was working, and the pressure she was applying on her head, he decided to tell her what happened, saving her the stress of trying to remember.
"What's wrong with your head?"
"I have a headache." She answered with gritted teeth.
"Skye, get me that medicine for headache." He instructed via mind-link, then moved his feet again.
"HEY! I SAID DON'T COME ANY CLOSER!" Karina yelled, glaring at him as if she would attack him if he takes one more step.
"Get that dirty thought out of your head. I don't do shit with anyone without their consent." Veron remarked, annoyed at her thoughts and reactions toward him. "Also, I don't find men attractive."
"Who are you calling a… Wait…" Karina paused, realizing this may be a good opportunity to keep him away from her. "Yes… I am a man and you definitely shouldn't find men attractive." She accepted and Veron's expression died. However, Gerrard burst out laughing.
"Oh, this is perfect," Gerrard commented, enjoying himself.
"You are a man," Veron repeated.
"Yes, I am." Karina nodded her head.
"Take off your shirt."
"WHAT!" Karina exclaimed in shock and unconsciously clutched the front of her shirt. What has come over him? Didn't he just say he doesn't find men attractive? Why the hell was he saying she should take off her shirt?
"If you are a man as you claim, you shouldn't have a problem standing before me without a shirt on." Veron pointed out, standing in that same spot and keeping his eyes on her. As much as he found this funny, he refused to join Gerrard in laughing to his heart's content.
Hearing what he just said, Karina realized he was right. Men had no problem undressing before their fellow men, just as she had no problem undressing before Nori. Karina frowned and quickly thought of a way out, seeing he was indeed waiting for her to undress.
"I am a different kind of man." She blurted, and Gerrard laughed even harder than he did the first time, rolling his body on the floor.
"Oh, goddess… This is classic." Gerrard said amidst his laughter. He couldn't remember when last he heard anything as funny as what he just heard.
"A different kind of man?" Veron asked and when she nodded, he added another question. "When did that specie come into existence?"
"Today?" Karina answered, sounding unsure.

It turns out to be the genre I am kinda falling in love with slowly. I won't say the chapter one isn't okay but I just feel that there are some words that were off but then, reading further, my intestines began to scream for more and more and more! It got just so exciting and suspenseful all off a sudden, with bits of humour. Keep it up, author!

I think this is quite an interesting story and actually the unusual word "Werepire" in the title grabbed my eye. I was very happy to have added it in my library... Just that the ending wrapped up all characters but somehow sounded a bit abrupt, it didn't feel very smooth... otherwise great story with a variety of characters...
I'm living this review at chapter 12. So far, it's been a wonderful read and a breath of fresh air. Perfect mix of humor and suspense. Story quality is good, grammar is good, and I look forward to read more. Especially more of Gerrard's and Veron's banter. That pair is a wonderful combo.

Not what I was expecting at first. Turns out to be more than I expected. I waited until now to see how the story develops before leaving this review, and I was not disappointed. Now I keep checking for updates everyday. It's a good story. I recommend.
Another beautiful journey loading, and I can't wait to sink into this world. The male and female lead seems to be shrouded in deep mysteries and I can't wait for their stories to unfold. Karina isn't willing to be with any man, though I don't know why yet, I really want to know how she will end up with Veron. Gerrard is one character I can't get enough of. Dear author, please give me more of him. Also, I wish you will update more chapters more often. Highly recommended.

Overall I really enjoyed this book. Good read no bad grammar enough twist and turns to keep you involved but not to make you frustrated. The characters are great, good development with story progressions. You get all the feels and emotions with is book. Egarly awaiting the sequel.

Really a great story. I added it to my library a couple of months ago but didn't read it because I was waiting for more chapters. Started reading it last week and finished it inside the week. 😍The story development was good and the overall flow will keep you invested. The author did a great job with the narration. The narration is important as it keeps the readers invested. 🫡I really recommend it to everyone if you want to read something with a great plot. Just go for it and you won't regret it.Lastly, the shortcomings, don't have many hot scenes. Also, the ending is too abrupt. It's like the author wanted to just finish it up quickly and mark it up as complete. I would have really appreciated some happy moments at the end 😮💨.The last couple of novels that I had read had the same problem 😢.
