Chapter 6: Chapter Six: Ability Duration used up
[ Invisibility Ability two minutes duration used up. Cooling off time begins ]
'Shit! Why must it be now!' Xash screamed in his mind.
He was just a little close to passing through the last set of soldiers standing at the entrance of the cockpit.
Unfortunately, the invisibility ability has been used up. He was no longer invisible and the soldiers could see him wide and clear.
It was obvious that he was their enemy. He had only his pyjamas pants on. His top was in his room in the shelter.
"Hello." Xash smiled at the gazing eyes of the soldiers.
"Capture him now!" One the soldiers exclaimed.
"Ugh! I need to level up the duration of this ability. I can't always get caught like this."
Clenching his fist tightly, he combined it with fire as he punch each of the soldiers that comes his way.
He focused on getting rid of the ones blocking his path into the cockpit.
But the more he kept on fighting them, the more they keep on charging at him.
[ Warning! Poison ability detected ]
"What?"
He was wondering who among the soldiers has the poison ability, but there was no way he could spot the fellow since he was outnumbered.
Luckily, the invisibility ability had cooled off. He turned invisible and managed to sneak past the soldiers.
Once he was in the cockpit, he shut the door behind himself, trapping the soldiers outside.
"Phew! That was close." He heaved a sigh of relief.
He turned around and saw that the pilot and his co-pilot were unaware of his presence. Him being invisible is one of the reasons.
He would have cancelled the invisibility thing, but he didn't know what they have hidden under their sleeves. Taking them in stealth mode is the best option.
It was obvious they didn't know what was going on outside, since they had this gigantic headset covering their ears.
[ Target: Ray Collins, Pilot. Ability: Earth Ability level 2 ]
[ Target: Fey Muller, co-pilot. Ability: Hacking Ability level 9 ]
Between the two of them, the one that is most likely to attack is the one with earth ability.
He wanted the hacking ability for himself. And since he can't steal abilities in his invisibility mode, he had to turn visible.
He looked through the window and saw that they were approaching the second shelter.
'I have to stop this ship before it gets to the shelter or I will fail the Quest.'
Sighs…
'There's only one way to do this!'
Grabbing the Earth user by the neck, he turned visible, with his hand encased with fire, stretching out at the co-pilot.
"Stand down!" Xash yelled. "If you move an inch, I'll kill both of you!"
"Okay okay!" The pilot said, raising his hands above his head.
Xash removed the headset that he had on his head and squeezed his neck tightly.
"Now stop the ship!" He instructed and the pilot unhesitatingly did as he said.
"Who gave you the order to attack my planet?" Xash asked.
"It's the Ace Faction Leader Sir."
"Ace Faction Leader?"
"Yes, he's Kenace by name. Ken for short."
'Still the same name, I see. That crazy protagonist ought to be taught a lesson.'
"You, come closer!" Xash said to the co-pilot. "Your hands above your head."
"Please don't kill me, I'll do everything you ask." The co-pilot pleaded for his life.
"Why wouldn't I kill you? It's not like your life is meaningful to me in the first place." Xash replied.
As he lifted his hands up slowly, he suddenly took out a gun from his pocket and pointed it at Xash.
Without wasting any time, he shot the gun.
Just as the bullet did back at the shelter, it also did the same now. Only that there was a slight difference. The gun and bullet suddenly disappeared from the Man's hands.
'What?' Xash was surprised.
The co-pilot moved closer to him and Xash unintentionally placed his hand on the side of his head and began the stripping process.
[ Stripping process successful; Hacking Ability level 9 obtained (please note that this works only on computer related devices) ]
Xash ignored the message as he was concerned on something else.
'What is happening?' He said to himself but then he saw the co-pilot trying to bring out the same gun from his pocket. Without taking his hands off, he activated his fire ability and set the co-pilot's head up in flames.
'A1, what happened right now?' He tried asking but he recalled that he had the A1 System shut down.
As he pondered about the matter, he heard someone scream out in terror.
"Noo!"
As he looked down, he saw that the pilot was already in tears, begging for mercy.
"Please don't kill me, I have kids." The pilot begged.
"Sorry buddy, but it's time to meet your creator."
"W-wait, please don't kill me. I can still be of use to you. I promise to follow every of your command."
"I would have considered your request, but you attacked me first."
"Huh?"
"You shot me on the arm, you think I'll let it go. Doom be upon you." He said, setting the pilot's head on fire.
He felt relieved as he killed the two men, he tossed the dead body of the pilot to a side and sat on the former's seat. He sighed as he relaxed his aching back on the seat.
"Phew! That was awesome. I'm so damn sure I could take down the protagonist if we meet soon. But first I need to increase the duration of my ability. And by so doing, this ship needs to be taken down."
He needed to take down the ship to complete the quest but the question is, how will he do that. He thought of blowing up the ship and everyone inside with his fire ability, but the ability was currently at its cooling time.
"Let's see what this hacking ability could do."
[ Hacking Options ]
[ 1. Control Spaceship locomotion ]

[ 3. Control Spaceship Functions ]
With the hacking ability that he has, he could hack into almost everything computer based.
All he had to do was place his hands on one of the control devices in the ship, and the options kept on popping up in front of his face like the system.
[ User now has control over Spaceship Functions ]
[ 1. Make Spaceship malfunction ]
[ 2. Activate Autopilot mode ]
"I think number one is the best option."
[ Spaceship malfunction activated ]
"BEEP BEEP!! SYSTEM ERROR! REBOOT ALL SYSTEM IMMEDIATELY!"
"What's happening?" The Ace soldiers said as they hear the alarms ringing. They tried opening the door into the cockpit but all their efforts was futile.
A few seconds after the alarm went on, the spaceship stopped functioning. All lights were switched off, and the engines had stopped working.
They looked outside and saw their spaceship heading for the ground.
"We're going to crash! Get out now!"
They tried getting off the ship but it was too late.
With his fire ability now available, Xash sent a stream of fire at the ship, burning the spaceship to ashes.
"That's for messing with me, Ken!" Xash yelled as he watch the ship blow up in pieces by the side of the second shelter.
