419 (Lucci vs Anchor)
Back in Enies Lobby,
The city of Enies Lobby was now reduced to rubble as as the pirates fought against the CP9 agents. Kaku and Cricket could be seen fighting in on corner of the city, while, Yosaku and Jabra were fighting near the front gate.
Elsewhere a bit in the middle one could see Lucci facing off against one of the pirates. Lucci stood tall in his leopard-human hybrid form, fangs bared and claws extended. His killer eyes were fixed on Anchor with killer intent, both fighters panting.
"You know you are stronger than you look. But I have something that will even the odds." Anchor said taking a steel can from his pocket, there was something else that Anchor had that could easily end the fight. But Anchor wanted to challenge himself a bit. And besides, there was something satisfying in crushing your opponents with your own bare hands. So why not?
In a flash, Lucci pounced, swiping his razor-sharp claws at Anchor's face, not wanting him to power up. Anchor ducked just in time, the claws missing him by mere inches. Without missing a beat, Anchor delivered a powerful uppercut into Lucci's gut, making the zoan user double over in pain. Even with Tekkai, Anchor's blows were harder then a canon shot.
Lucci recovered quickly and went on the offensive, unleashing a flurry of clawed swipes and kicks. Anchor bobbed and weaved, avoiding the attacks with surprising agility.
"You might be a speed freak, but my crew is full of freaks," Anchor said grabbing Lucci's arm when he overextended and throwing him over the shoulder, onto the other side. "And, I mean it a good way…" he laughed.
Lucci growled as he steaded himself but by then Anchor broke off the steel-can. "Play time's over, kitty. Time to show you what a real man can do," he said with a smirk, popping open the can and gulping down its contents. Almost instantly, his biceps bulged to massive proportions, along with his muscles.
Even smoke came out of his decorated pipe that he kept in his mouth. Lucci blinked wondering if that was supposed to be bad or not. He soon found the answer when he doubled over by a punch in the gut, almost losing consciousness.
'How? How did get that fast?'
The CP9 member was sent flying, but he quickly stopped himself with Geppo, unleashing a blazing tempest kick that sliced through the air, tearing up the ground as it sped toward Anchor. With a mighty inhale of his pipe, Anchor evaded the attack in a burst of smoke. Before Lucci could react, a crushing punch slammed down into his head, sending him crashing down a building, one floor after the other.
Lucci was almost seeing stars in his vision, before his instincts told him to move. And he did, just in time for Anchor to land where he previously was, destroying the whole building.
'What kind of fruit gives that kind of power?' Lucci questioned, hissing from the pain and growling from frustration. While throwing multiple tempest kick at Anchor's possible location.
"You just don't know when to quit, do ya?" He said while cracking his knuckles, before punching the air, with enough force to tear threw the air blades. That almost left Lucci wide-eyed, that kind of display of raw strength was no joke, "How's about I teach ya some manners?"
Lucci narrowed his eyes, his form buckling with help of life return, putting more emphasis on strength, "I'm going to kill you!"
"Huh, I can live with that."
With war cries, the two titans clashed with earth-shattering force. Lucci swiped his claws in savage arcs, shredding the air itself. Anchor weaved through the attacks and delivered a mighty uppercut, launching Lucci skyward. The leopard-man recovered with a midair spin, coming down on Anchor with a crushing axe kick.
The ground exploded under the impact, fragments of stone peppering the surroundings. A shockwave of dust and debris surged outward, obscuring the battle. As it cleared, Anchor and Lucci stood locked in a test of strength, muscles bulging and veins popping as they pushed against each other.
The strain was evident on Lucci's face. How could this sailor match his Zoan powers? With a roar, Lucci managed to free his hand and put them forward, calling out his ultimate technique. "Rokuogan!"
A shockwave of compressed air burst from his fists, blasting Anchor back, making his cough blood as his body was sent through multiple towers. and shattering them in the process.
Lucci panted, too exhausted to even start, Rokugan was a technique that even he couldn't overuse. But that should be enough…
Right then a massive piece of rubble crashed into him, before he destroyed it. Surprised by the sudden attack he looked at where the attack came from.
"Shit! That one almost hurt," Anchor grunted coming out of the rubble while wiping away the blood from his fake beard. He cracked his knuckles. A grin on his face. "Shockwave-based techniques pack quite the mean punch… maybe I will go down if you spam a few dozen of those."
Snarling in fury, Lucci attacked with ferocious speed, claws and palms striking in a complex barrage. Anchor deflected each blow, tanking some and landing counter strikes to Lucci's abdomen and ribs. The leopard-man coughed blood but continued his assault. His clothing was tattered, his body bruised and battered, but his will was unbroken.
Anchor however, was relatively fine, well used to this kind of injurious due to Luffy's harsh training. Even the wounds on his body were already closing, due to the unique nature of his fruit that enhanced everything when he ate that special kind of spinach.
One that was every descendant of Popeye knew how to cultivate. It wasn't just because that was special no. It also had something to do with their unique bloodline, which gave them the strength of ancient giants.
The original Popeye did have a legend of pulling a whole island. For others, it might have been a legend, but Anchor wanted to make it a reality. Call it pride or the sense of proving himself better, Anchor wanted to get stronger.
Grabbing a piece of rubble, he spun it like a hammer before tossing it. Lucci quickly used Geppo to take to the sky, trying to avoid it, but Anchor just threw in even more. And even with his speed Lucci couldn't all of them.
His eyes widened before the massive chunk of stone slammed into him. He quickly used a tempest kick to cut through it, but by then Anchor was on him with his fist ready for a punch.
With a roar of defiance, Lucci's muscles swelled even larger, veins bulging along his limbs. In an astounding show of strength, he also matched Anchor's punch. A shockwave of violet energy erupted between them, engulfing the battlefield.
But Lucci was thrown back, not being able to match Anchor's strength, his arm felt as if it was broken. But it didn't matter, "Life Return: Paper Drawing Martial Body!"
With that Lucci's larger body became smaller as he used Soru and Geppo mid-air, appearing behind Anchor in an instant.
His speed was so much that even Anchor was surprised and unsuccessful in keeping track of. "Shigan: Madara!"
Lucci unleashed a hundred lightning-fast finger jabs into Anchor's back. Anchor coughed blood, his eyes almost turning white due to the pain as he was launched forward into a wall. If Anchor was a tad bit faster in using Tekkai he could have avoided most of the damage, but now he had take a quite a bit of them.
Lucci wanted to follow through with multiple tempest kick, but he fell to his knees, exhaustion hitting him like a train.
