Chapter 83: I Want You To Look Your Best!

Joanna and I drove separately to my house from the hospital as we both had our cars with us. When we reached home, I was unlocking the door when my neighbour came with a large box in her hand.

"Hello Elena!"

"Hi!" I smiled meekly, turning to face her.

"How is Mr Bell doing now?" The lady asked with genuine concern.

"He is fine now." I didn't go into the details, giving her away that the doctor had found some heart problem with dad.

He explained it to me, but all I understood from that half hour's explanation was that stress was a dangerous sign for dad because it directly affected dad's heart and it may cause him a cardiac arrest.

"Oh, that's a relief!" The woman said before looking up skywards as if she was thanking the god.

"Oh, by the way, a delivery boy left this parcel for you. It has your name on it but there is no mention of the sender." The woman said, showing the large box she was holding.

Joanna smiled and took the box from her. "I will take that."
