Two days had passed after Devon proposed to Elena and yet the phones in the Sanders' villa didn't stop ringing. People were calling to congratulate, only to dig into the matter to get a hot gossip afterwards.

The most eligible bachelor in the country, the heir of the Sanders proposed to a small-town girl.

That headline was hot on the news, tabloids, magazines and of course social media.

Madison had never been so irritated in her life before. Every time something bothered her, she had it wiped off or complained to her husband and he would clean it for her.

But this time, things were different.

Her trouble was her own flesh and blood. If she uttered any word about her problem to her husband, she knew it would only make him more miserable because even his hands were tied.

She poured herself a glass of juice before popping a pill in her mouth. She drank the juice hoping that the pill would help with her pounding head.
