Voices yelled in her head not to fall into Mia's trick but the comfort she received hadn't settled in her for a long time. The girl's shoulder was slim but overly comfortable so she cried silently on Mia's shoulder but Mia pulled out suddenly.

"That's enough," she breathed and looked into Gloria's eyes to realize that the girl's eyes weren't dark. They were grey and her tears kept dropping.

"B*tch," Gloria wiped her tears and looked away.

Mia then sat on the floor. "You know how much I hate you, right?"

"I hate you more," Gloria said.

"Because you like Gabe? The boy is mine now," Mia made the girl glare at her.

"I've made huge sacrifices for that punk, yet he doesn't look at me. It's so sad that the girl who hates him is the one he chose. That's why I hate you, not because he chose you but because you hate him!! And the fool still chose to be with you," her face creased as she cried again.
