Chapter 34: Disha-
"What?? No thank you!!" I replied as I hid my lips using my plam.
He chuckled seeing me like that. And then he pulled over. He unbuckled himself and then came closer to my face.
I tried to pull away from him with a hand on my mouth. But he swiftly drew me back to him and afterward he slowly moved his lips closer to mine with his eyes locked up with mine. My heart ran wide and started beating non stop. I've never been kissed before and what if he finds out about it? What if I am bad at it? and most importantly is my first kiss actually going to be inside this car? There are the thoughts that were going through my head at this moment.
As his lips were about to touch mine I closed my eyes but then nothing happened and then I suddenly felt a breath on my ear.
"I am taking about this awesome video that explains the differences and that's what I am talking about. What are you even thinking that you closed your eyes?" he whispered against my eyes.
Now this is embarrassing and frustrating. I mean seriously?? Why?? He must have known what kind of effect he has on me... And I hate it. His effect is so intense that I had almost forgotten about what we were talking about.
"I know what you meant. I just don't want to see those videos. That's why I closed my eyes", I replied after a serious amount of consideration.
"Oh really?" he asked with doubt in his voice.
"Let's forget about me and talk about you. Why have you pulled off if that's what you actually meant", I asked looking at him.
"Because we need to get down. We've reached".
"Already? Wasn't NY like 3 hours and something distance away?" I asked as I unbuckled myself.
"Yeah, and that's why we'll have to take the plane, of course unless you want a long drive", he said with a smirk.
"Drive would have been good, but if you need to save time then, indeed plane is the best option", I said rolling my eyes.
After getting of at the New York airport-
"How about we get done with the with you work at Manhattan at first??" he asked as we walked our way towards the exit.
"Why??"
"Because it's already evening and if we were to do my work at first then we will miss the appropriate time to visit a house!" he explained.
"That sounds to be true. Ok, let me call Joe and ask for the address", I said as i took out my phone to call her.
"1325 Broadway, apartment 14, that's the location", I said looking into my phone.
He nodded at that and then just kept standing... like we have been for the last few minutes. I have no idea about why we are standing like this but however i just followed him in silence, like a good and understanding girl. But I couldn't keep up that image after a few minutes....
"Can I know why we are standing here instead of getting a taxi??" finally I let out the words that were dying to come out.
"We are waiting for my car" he looked into his watch and continued, "it should be here any minute now".
A car approached us just at the moment he stopped talking. It stopped 2 meter away from us, then a man got out of the car. He has a well-build body, his muscles and his biceps were like playing peek-a-boo from behind his polo shirt. He is wearing a mint colored polo shirt and a denim jeans, his t-shirt tucked in his jeans and his caesar cut brown hair was just like a cherry on top, enough to make him look a rich and powerful CEO from any dramas out there. And when he took his sunglass off, I swear I felt like time had stopped and every ladies at this place had stared at him. He walked swiftly and stood in front of us. My eyes became bigger when I saw him up close. He is definitely an attractively sexy person.
He suddenly bowed down to us, or I thought. Because I am not lucky enough to have his bow,it was Raidan whom he was bowing to. I failed to notice why he was doing it, because I was busy ogling him. As I noticed properly I saw he had held out something in front of Raidan, as I noticed even further , I realized that it was a key, to be more precise the car's key. Even though it was already hard for me to understand what was going on, but now it just became even more harder. 'What the hell is actually going on', I thought to myself.
I stared at Raidan with my eyes full of questions, he looked at me as he took the key from him, as gave me a node which I believed said,"I will explain later, for now just follow my lead". I agreed to follow him with a blink. After that he was on his way to the car, I followed him up close.
I heard the attractively sexy man saying from behind,"Have a good day, Boss!!"
Now comes the question, who is he referring to as Boss?? It can't be Raidan, right?? With mind full of questions, I took my place on the passenger seat as he took his behind the wheels.
"So? Let me finish!!" Raidan said out of the blue, exactly at the moment when I was just about to come up with the bestest conclusion.
"OK," I said with an uncertainty in my voice.
"All right, so the man out there was Alex. He works for me, and he had came to drop the car", he explained.
"So that hunky man's name is Alex?!!! Interesting!!" I said under my breath with an inner smile.
"Hey woman, what are you thinking?" he said loud enough for me to even freeze in my own imagination.
"Yeah?" I asked, afraid that I got caught like always after having some bad thoughts.
"I asked are you sure that it's here?" he asked pointing on the left side.
Turned out that we had already reached in our destination. But I missed everything once again because of my dirty thoughts....
