Aether woke up early in the morning and freshed up and went to the kitchen to cook something but before he could he heard someone banging his front door. curious he went to take a look and found a guard standing there with something in his hands.
he opened the door and asked " what brings u here Noah"
"After your news the village chief ordered us to patrol herb field and other important resource area near village and just as you expected we found some predators and dangerous omnivores like the wild boar you encountered"
"after we reported back the village chief gave us 50 silver to give it to you as a reward and we also brought back your boar which u killed alongside ur herb knife" added Noah
"That is sure an unexpected thing early in the morning."
after giving his spoils of war and reward noah bid him goodbye and left.
closing the door, aether brought the boar inside the kitchen and put it on a box named food stock. above the box was a small crystal freezing everything inside the box. Aether was always envious at the stone producing magic and at the same time glad that the village chief didnt treat him badly after his parents were martyred in the war and gifted him this house.
shaking away these thoughts he went to prepare his breakfast which included the bacon, egg, and milk a perfect typical breakfast which didnt included bread as the bread was more expensive than all these except bacon combined.
after eating his breakfast. He exercised by breathing mana in and out of his body which helped him reduce fatigue caused by the battle yesterday. after two to three hours he stood up and picked up the boar and went to the butcher in village.
walking along the road he thought to himself when would he awaken his mana core?or is he destined to be a non-magician?
he walked depressed to the butcher and told him to take out 1/3th of the boar for him and sold the 2/3 of it.
after telling the butcher that he would take the meat at 6 pm. he went to Sylvia house and paid his due from yesterday. after arranging everything he started going to the center of village.
after reaching the center a big football stadium like area was there with many people practicing martial arts. he went in the field and approached the instructor and paid him 10 silvers to learn martial arts.
going to arsenal of wooden weapons he picked up a dagger and started practicing his dagger skills with the yesterday event as a catalyst he achieved intermediate mastery after a few hours of practicing. the instructor walked towards him and said " i shall brief you of the mastery realms and also some points which u need to take care of Aether"
" There are are 5 mastery realms known in Witslucion, they are
beginner, intermediate, advanced, master, grandmaster."
"there is also martial path similar to mage path.
in martial path there are 9 tiers and 3 sub grades per tier (lower,middle,upper)
i cant tell my tier as that is a secret no mage of warrior tells anyone and i think you can understand why."
"yes i know why cause it would make our enemies to know our abilities and we will suffer at their hands" replied Aether
"Instructor, I still dont understand is grandmaster the last mastery realm?"
"well the answer to that question i cant answer as i myself am at only advanced realm" replied Instructor sheepishly
after replying to aether Instructor taught him some points crucial in martial path and left him to practice and went to teach other aspiring warriors.
Aether looked up to sundial and saw it was almost 6 pm he hurriedly wiped his sweat off and went to the butcher.
taking the meat and 1 gold from butcher he went to his home and took a bath checking the sundial he saw it was 9 pm and went to cook his dinner.
after finishing dinner he went to his room and took out a gem with a size of football. touching the intrinsic platinum colored gem he inherited from his parents. he drifted away to a memory of his parents.

"Aether, come with me. I have something important to tell you" said a man with a face similar to aether in his mid thirties.
"Coming Father" replied Aether
entering the room with his father aether saw his father take out a gem with a size of football from god knows where.
"Aether, this is our family heirloom passed from ages. our ancestor who was well versed in reading fatelines said that one day a heir will awaken this gem and bring fortune to our family. as a result whenever a heir turns 12 the father will pass the gem to him." said Ryan
"many heirs even i thought we were blessed but we didnt awaken this gem and merely thought of it as ancestor mistake but even so we dont dare neglect our ancestor rule so basically you just have to take care of it and pass it down" added Ryan
Aether as an intelligent child quickly noticed how his father is teaching him family rules and everything like hes going to retire. taking notice of this he asked his father.
"Father, is something bad going on?" asked Aether
"No, everything is fine but you know our village is currently facing beast waves. as i am a warrior and your mother who is a magician we will need to fight the war"

quickly shaking his head away at that memory he focused on the gem thought 'why would our ancestor take great notice of this gem?'
'well i shouldnt think about it maybe one day i will find the answer' thinking up to this point the boy placed the gem on bed and slept unaware of the gem which started brightening up and started floating to his head and then started melting before going in his head.
