Darkness
That's all I can see, strangely I felt like my body was floating in a river, unable to even move a single muscle.
Humans are truly something else when they are idle; they begin to daydream about the past.
This was exactly what was happening to me.
Thinking back on my last memory before I shot myself, I thought to myself, "My previous life wasn't that bad, it all went haywire when she entered my life."
" I should have listened to my best friend and kept my distance..."
"But like a fool I was, I didn't listen to her and ignored her, thinking that she doesn't understand anything."
"No, if only it stopped on ignoring her words but no i-because of me that incident happened"
"I am sorry for not listening to you"

Anyway...
It won't change anything now I can only suck it up, and I don't know? Maybe aton for my sins? But it's impossible now.
I can guess what could happen to me but won't hold on to that possibility, it's too far-fetched.
But, knowing how unlikely it is, I can't help but think, "If I get a second chance, I'd like to fill the void in my heart."

Seeing a budding hope of a dying man.
Pathetic.
Who I am kidding it won't happen as I was going to curse myself for going insane I suddenly saw a light and I felt it.
I can move
feeling that I can move, I don't know how or why, but I knew that was a way out of here.
So, without thinking twice, I began walking towards it, getting closer and closer until I was in front of it.
My eyes weren't adjusted to be in front of the white light because of being in the dark for too long.
Knowing that at least it should be better than this dark place, I jumped into it and lost consciousness.
[Gavin POV]
Sigh..
What happened Gavin? Are you not feeling well?
A hoarse and crispy voice reached my ears as I looked at the man who seemed to be drinking alcohol,
Seven empty alcohol bottles were placed beside him.
'How can a person drink that much alcohol, well it's not as I can blame him. It's pretty hard living in slums, barely having three meals a day.'
" You know dale the usual Diana doesn't want to admit that she can't bear a child, and in case of this, we have a quarrel again. "
"It's getting frustrating, Dale, I know the news has been a blow to her, I really do, but why can't she understand that it's affected me as well?"
"No, you don't understand anything, Gavin" dale spoke, "you should know that a MAN needs to bury his emotions deep within himself."
But-
"Shut up and listen, Gavin," Dale said sternly, "I know you're sad, but bury your feelings and sit with Diana, give her a shoulder to cry on.
"Wipe away her tears and comfort her, and before you know it, the moment you see her smile will be the moment that your sadness will vanish into thin air."
"A man can only be happy when the people he cares about are happy."
"Always remember that, Gavin."
"Do you understand me, Gavin?"
After listening to him, I knew that this old friend of mine was trying to cheer me up and give me advice; it is truly a blessing from God to have him as my friend.
"Yes, and thank you; I don't know what I would have done with my life if you hadn't been with me."
"Thank you for bearing with me up to this point," I said.
Dale burst out laughing and exclaimed, "hahaha, you don't have to thank me, I just did what a friend would have done."
'Friend huh'
'I don't have any friends besides dale, so it's good that I don't have any. It is better to have a single genuine friend than to have people who can backstab you.'
'Especially in slums where fights break out every minute and blood flows like a river.'
"What are you waiting for? "Let's go, we have work to do!" dale said as he stood up and began walking out.
"Wait for me, you bastard," I said as I stood up and walked out.
'Let's see what's in store for us today,' I thought, smiling.
