Chapter 67: She won't get him

Austin almost fainted watching Clara sitting on Adrian's lap. The two seem to be sitting in an awkward position as Clara's hand forcefully clutched Adrian's suit while she tries to free herself.

As his eyes glanced at the two simultaneously Austin failed to notice the piercing gaze of his boss.

"Austin, did you forget to knock on the door before coming inside" Adrian's sharp voice snapped the secretary out of his trance while he stood still like a statue watching his boss fearfully.

Austin's throat ran dry and he lost his voice, however, Adrian's words did make him react the next second.

Nodding his head frantically Austin rushed out and knocked on the door this time.

"Come in" Adrian voiced sternly and watched Austin step inside.

Austin felt like he was being roasted inside the air conditioning cabin. Adrian's eyes were drilling holes into his skin making it unbearable for the man to stand his sight.
