Chapter 14: Breakthrough
Rudra sat beside the corpse of the ape and was in dilemma of how to bring this giant corpse with him. it was 7 feet big corpse he could not bring this entire thing in his shoulder .the first thing that came to his mind was to build a sled so that he would be able to carry the beast corpse to his new resting place, yes he decided to move out of his previous cave and make a new hunting sack outer layer of the forest, because the cave was way to far from his current location.
He chopped down some suitable trees and tied them with some tough vines to form a flat sled. He then wove the vines together and attached them to the ends of a wooden pole he made from a sapling, to make a handle with which he could pull the sled.
By the time he was done with all this, it was evening. Rudra had already decided the new place where he was planning to build his new hunting sack while he was searching for beast. he put the beast corpse in the sled and left for his destination, after a while he reached his destination and started building the hut after he finished building the hunting hut.
After processing the ape corpse he started to cook the ape beast meat, It was first time Rudra was eating the meat of demonic beast. Although he don't have any salt and spices in the forest the meat was still delicious and full of energy. After eating the dinner Rudra immersed himself in practicing the the basic spear technique.
After today fight with the ape he has found out the many area he was lacking in like his reflex are not up to par that why the ape was able to hit him one time the battle so he needed to improve, this type of mistakes could cost him his life in the forest . He practiced all the way until midnight when his concentration finally broke, and he sat down to chant the Om mantra.
With the today fight and practice that he did in the night, Rudra already sensed that he was close to a breakthrough and thus was not surprised when he finally did, after assimilating all the life energy released from the meat. He felt his muscle and skin tingle and itch when he broke through to the 7th stage of the body refining stage.
With this breakthrough there was a qualitive increment in his strength. now his strength was 1800kg of force which was comparable to the expert of 1st rank consolidated realm.
This increase of strength made him more confident to survive in the outer region of desolate forest.
