Chapter 14: Chapter 12 - Preparations before death
THIRD PERSON POV
As he watched Tobirama return to the Hokage office he went back to his house thinking about what he should do.
'I should probably tell Mito about the news of Asami and Sen.' As he made up his mind he entered the courtyard and went to Mito's study room and knocked on her door.
Mito opened the door and seeing Hashirama she asked
"How was your visit, did everything go all right?"
"Everything's alright but I have some news for you we should talk somewhere safe(Hashirama)
"Then come inside"(Mito)
As Hashirama entered inside she sealed the room and asked him
"Now you can tell me."(Mito)
"Senju Sen is your nephew the son of Asami Uzumaki."(Hashirama)
"How is that possible?"(Mito)
"Your father confirmed it."(Hashirama)
"No wait that-How is Asami where is she?" (Mito)
"For that, I will have to tell you about Sen's birth."(Hashirama)
And he told her everything he heard from Sen and Lady Katsuyu about Asami Uzumaki's final moments.
Taking a moment to recover Mito took a deep breath and spoke with resolve
"That just gives me one more reason to support him so what will you do now?"(Mito)
"I need to get the Hiraishin Jutsu from Tobirama without housing his suspicion."(Hashirama)
"That is easy."(Mito)
"How, I thought about it very long but I didn't find a way."(Hashirama)
And so Mito told her plan
TOBIRAMA POV
As I returned home I was called by my sister-in-law for dinner.
"Tobirama come here I have something to ask you."(Hashirama)
'Not this sentence again.'
"What what is it now?"
"Give me the scroll for 'Hiraishin', I have to learn it fast."(Hashirama)
"Ha?!"
"I will explain it to you. When he told me how convenient it is to travel with 'Hiraishin(Flying Thunder god)' I told him about the complexity of a space-time ninjutsu.
But he bragged he could master it in no time so we made a bet, if he could master it I would not stop him from gambling but no money for gambling till he masters it."(Mito)
"I see, you have my gratitude for saving the clan from poverty sister-in-law."
"What do you mean you think I can't master it too? I will show you both the power of shinobi god."(Hashirama)
"Heh." both Mito and Tobirama scoffed.
HASHIRAMA POV
When Tobbirama left after dinner leaving the scroll for 'Hiraishin(Flying Thunder God Jutsu)' behind Mito asked Hashirama
"How was it?"
"I can't believe you did so easily by the way that no money for gambling thing was a lie right?"(Hashirama)
"No we can't leave any clues for Tobirama."(Mito)
"I got it; you played both of us in one move.😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫"(Hashirama)
"Blame yourself for being stupid."(Mito)
I somewhat pitied the nine tails at that moment as he imagined it being abused by Mito.
About five months have passed since I returned from the Uzumaki village and during the last 5 months Mito came up with the plan to build a forbidden ground in the Senju compound for Sen after hearing about his body going unconscious she thinks it might happen again in the future
She is building it in our backyard so that when he could use 'Flying thunder god' he can come rest in the forbidden ground before going unconscious and the place will provide him with all that is necessary for survival and protect him from external attacks.
She has just started preparing but she said it will take a long time, it will be her gift to her nephew and godson.
As I woke up today refreshed and energetic after a long time I knew my time had come and it was the final light my body was showing so I called for thy clan meeting
After all those eligible to come entered the room he started speaking
"What I am going to tell you all today will be my final order as the clan leader of the Senju,
What I am going to say may or may not come to pass so you can take it as a story or a prophecy by a dying man but remember these words are only for those surnamed Senju to hear.
I Hashirama Senju hereby announce that I have given away the ancestral cloak of the Senju clan and if one day someone wearing it arrives in front of any Senju clan member his words should be obeyed as I give him the same authority as mine and no one of my successors may deny this authority unless the bearer of the cloak acts against the Senju clan, as he is the Sage of Senju and he will come when the survival of Senju clan is threatened. You are all dismissed."
And after saying that left the meeting room.
Before Tobirama or anyone else could question the meaning of his words they were informed that Senju Hashirama passed away the next morning in his bed.
And so a story was spread in the Senju clan of the prophecy of someone who secretly protects the clan, the Sage of the Senju clan.
