Brett and Ralph walked in front of them, occasionally bending their knees to check for blood traces and footprints on the ground.

Lucia and Dr. Jenkins walked side-by-side, watching the two werewolves as they got to work.

Zane and Ryan walked at the back in silence.

They had been walking for three hours now, but their destination was still far from reach. Zane and Ryan could not sense the presence of any rabid vampire around them, let alone a strong pure-blood vampire that was Demon.

The group expected to walk for another three hours maybe, but then the two werewolves stopped walking at the same time.

"There is something here," Brett said with furrowed brows.

"Like what?" Zane asked.

"Not sure, but there really is something," Ralph replied while stomping on the ground beneath them.

"The ground here is relatively loose."

"Is it maybe due to the rain?" Lucia tried to be helpful. "It has been raining a lot last week."
