"Alain, what are you doing?" Jack asked again.

The elder man was shocked to see the hatred in his second son's eyes. After all, he oversaw Alain's growth until he was eighteen years old. Alain had always been selfish and spoiled, but he never hurt any fly, let alone a person.

So why did he stand together with the vampires, kicking the person who lay on the ground?

Alain rolled with his eyes impatiently. He tried his best to fake an indulgent smile in his father's direction.

"Papa, I just need a minute, and then we can all go. Why don't you and Mama go ahead and board the private jet?"

Jack shook his head vehemently.

"Alain, answer me. Is that Aiden?"

"Dad," Aiden spoke from the ground.

"Aiden. Oh, God. Alain, he is your brother! Why are you hitting him?"
