Chapter 10: Is this the end for us?
"Sana why didn't you atleast contacted me that you're okay and safe.. you have no idea how much mom misses you even though she's mad at you... i never saw mom in a miserable state except the day you abandoned us..i know she didn't understand your love for jake but you know what's she been through right?? My own father abondoned me after being a drug addict...mom left him but she could've abandoned me too? why care for someone else's child who doesn't even care for you... but she raised me along with you even though she wasn't financially much stable... but still she took a brave decision like raising me knowing the consequences. I really respect her a lot and owe her not only for being like my real mother but treating me as like as you.. I couldn't see her begging infront of me and eventually had to agree but i don't blame her at all.. nor I'm blaming you.. cuz yoy didn't know I'd have to marry him instead of you...it was my fate ig to meet Jungkook.." Yn shared everything with her about her forced marriage along with the contract thingy and how much she loves him.
"Whatt???! You love him but haven't confessed yet?? and moreover a CONTRACT THING??" Sana almost shouted in anger..While Yn trying to shut her.
"Yn!! Yn!! " Meanwhile Jungkook was searching for Yn..."oh no.. he's searching for me..sana I'll meet you tmrw at the poolside...and i don't want Jungkook to ruin his mood before the award function..so take care of that Okay"
Sana nodded and continued her job while Yn went to Jungkook like nothing happened.."Godd Yn i thought you got lost somewhere..hurry we have to take our seats in the hall" She nodded and they both took their respective seats in the tables.
"So ladies and gentlemen welcome to the business party and with your families! Today I'm very glad to be the host of this business award function where people got nominated for their hardwork and achieved such success that you're able to sit here which is a big milestone for y'all so big round of applause for each of the hardworking business man and woman present here! "
Everyone cheered for each other and the Award function started. One by one each category had a person winning the award and lastly it was turn for the category that Jungkook was nominated in... Yn held his hand to make him calm..and he takes a deep breath ready to hear the announcement.
"So the winner for most successful young Business man is-....none other than MR. JEON JUNGKOOK!"
He got up excited and hugged Yn.. she was cheering for him till he was on the stage receiving his award. He looks at Yn before giving his acceptance speech..
"Thank you so much for believing in me and my work and I'm so much grateful that you find my work enough worthy to give me this award... I don't have words to express how much this award means to me and my family...thanks to my mom and dad for being such hardworking parents and all the inspiration i got from my dad.. even though they're not present today I'll still thank them for being a part of my successful journey. And last but not the least i would like to thank a very precious and lovely woman who was by my side when i needed someone the most... i owe her so much and have so much to say to her but...today I'll confess my genuine feelings towards her.. I know acted like a jerk towards her in our first meet but trust me i love you like no one else.. And that's none other than my sweet wife"
All of the people were cheering for his confession and Yn couldn't believe what did she just heard... it was unreal for her. She pinched herself to believe it's real! Tears were forming in her eyes but she wiped them before they could fall and gave a wide smile to him. He takes a glance and continued
"I'd like to call her on the stage to express my feelings...please welcome-"
Yn was ready to stand up and proudly go towards the stage but the next word she heard made her heart broken into pieces...she thought it was a nightmare and she wanted to wake up so bad.
"My wife Yeji"
She couldn't process and wanted to believe that she heard it wrong but to her surprise...Yeji walked up the stage and held his hand with a smile....
Yn was speechless...she was lost... all these months...all these days... it was all fake... what did she even expect from this contract marriage... at last her hope shattered into pieces...
He was inserting a ring on yeji's finger...and everyone present there clapping for them while Yn stood like a statue like her whole world collapsed...She knew she'll get hurt in the end but didn't imagine she'll get humiliated like that...she couldn't believe he intentionally invited her to show this heart breaking moment which will haunt her forever...she won't be able to trust anyone again...
She couldn't bare the sight anymore and ran towards the poolside... bcz she can't enter that decorated room too.. it'll make her feelings more hurt. Tears flowing down her eyes with an expression less face...there was many things going in her mind but at the same time it was blank... "Why... what did i even do to deserve this treatment...I never ever forced him to love me....but...that doesn't mean he'll insult me like that. I know i have no Rights to ask him why he chose her... but neither i divorced him yet to claim her as his wife that also infront of me... i still can't believe you did that.. you could've tell me to leave you earlier...why did you acted like you cared"
She was so hurt at this moment...just then Sana noticed her in that horrible state and immediately went towards her. "Yn!! Why are crying...What happened???! shh baby don't cry" She hugged her to comfort her but she cried even more... Sana had no idea what happened but she sur felt bad for her and knew she was hurted very badly.
After some time later... she calmed down a little and told Sana everything. She was also angry at him and told Yn to go and slap Yeji and fight for her rights but Yn knew she doesn't have the rights to do that... she's no one for him... "It's of no use... i don't even have the right to feel like this as i already knew we're gonna be apart in some months.. but didn't know it was this soon..guess I'm born unlucky.." "No Yn don't you ever think of it like you're at fault..and I'd say you can still talk about it to jungkook and make him regret..Even though it's contract but just now you said there's still time left so he doesn't have rights to call someone else his wife it's illegal" Yn sighed and wiped her tears "No...he clearly told me it's just a forced marriage and that I'm just a replacement not for so long then what did i even expected...i should've known my limits.. it's me who's at fault for falling for him... it's all because of my stupid heart that loves him...I hate myself for falling for him I HATE MYSELF"
