Arc 2: Learn, Adapt, Kill - Chapter 6
After leaving enough Divine Dogs behind to watch over Ruby while I sneak out of the hotel to do what needs to be done.
As cliché as it gets, I'm on a rooftop staring down at the alley where a group of grown men surround a beautiful girl, not just any beautiful girl. It's Weiss Schnee herself, and boy, do I feel sorry for her right now because she's about to be gang-raped, which shouldn't be possible since she has her Aura unlocked and access to the Semblance of the Schnee family. However, if what Ghost told me earlier is true. Some methods have been made that can temporarily lock someone's Aura.
I see one of the rapists holding a white flaming torch that seems to absorb the light around it. It must be one of the many creations against people with unlocked Aura.
Moving on, just like the Ruby of this world. Weiss is also affected by the hentai logic and has a similarly busty body, with the right size large breasts and butt. This made her more sexy than her canon counterpart, which is why she was at the worst turning point of her life.
However, something is bothering me now that I notice it. Why the hell do my assigned targets have busty bodies? And yes, crazy voices. I also have to take care of Weiss, but her contract is entirely different from Ruby's. Anyway, most importantly, I remember that Yang of this world is the same as her canon counterpart. There are no changes in her appearance at all, except that her outfit is a bit more slutty.
I squint, and yes, even Weiss' outfit is the same as canon, but tighter in certain areas, making them more noticeable.
I must use Invasion on her immediately. Under no circumstances will I allow what happened with Ruby to happen again. Damned annoying; there were many things Ruby had done in my presence that made me wonder why she had done them.
Also, I wonder if Blake is among those I need to take care of in this world. However, Ghost is being difficult again in not telling me until she is nearly to confirm whether she is among the assigned ones.
"We finally got her, boys! It cost us a pretty penny, but now we can enjoy the Schnee before we claim the bounty." One of the men, who must be the leader, slowly approaches Weiss with lustful eyes. "If the rumors are true, we'll be the first to touch her, and I'll be the first to fuck Weiss Schnee!"
This prompts the other men to jokingly shout at their leader as they follow him to surround Weiss to prevent her from escaping. They wait for their leader to let them have their turn at the fun as they watch the show unfold before their eyes, eager to see Weiss become a slut at their hands.
I rubbed my chin, wondering when to act. Then Weiss did something I hadn't expected and made me notice something else about her. She doesn't have her canon weapon: Myrtenaster, and her outfit has some dirt on it, proof that she didn't have a good time in Vale.
Weiss has a knife at her throat, cold sweat covering her forehead, and the group of rapists stops in their tracks, stunned by her action.
"I'd rather die than be raped by fools like you." Weiss's breathing became heavy and fast.
"I don't mind having sex with her corpse." One of the men whispered, but it was loud enough to be heard. That made almost everyone look at that person in disgust, and the way Weiss's face turned extra pale showed that she never thought anyone would still mess with her corpse, let alone have sex with it.
Yeah, that's my cue to jump in. Literally.
From the roof, I landed between Weiss and the group of rapists.
"Hey, looks like a hero decided to save-" The guy is cut off as the white flaming torch twists and shatters before everyone's eyes by some unknown force. Then, before anyone can say anything, all the men's bodies twist impossibly until they explode, spilling blood and organs all over the alley.
Luckily for Weiss and me, I'd already created a barrier with Boundary Manipulation after using Warping to kill the rapists. So we weren't hit by the blood and organs.
Through En, I see several people coming here. Gritting my teeth at the hentai logic that gave me the middle finger for spoiling its fun, making the people nearby, who were supposed to ignore everything going on in the alley, would now be quite attractive for many to check it out.
I quickly sweep Weiss off her feet, jump to the roof, and start roof-hopping to get to the hotel as quickly as possible. All the while, Weiss is trying her best not to scream at the top of her lungs, judging by how she holds on to me for dear life.
We arrived at the hotel in no time, and I set Weiss down. Then I enter the hotel through the front door without speaking to her. Knowing that she had many questions, leaving would be impossible, especially after what had happened recently.
I became speechless as I stopped before I could fully enter the hotel, with Weiss stopping right next to me in shock, where we could see everywhere in the lobby filled with corpses of humans and faunus. All torn to shreds with various bite sizes on all the bodies.
At the corner of my eye, I see a Divine Dog sitting there, wagging its tail and waiting for me to acknowledge it. It stares at me with puppy eyes, hoping that I will praise it, no doubt, for doing an excellent job of killing everyone here.
I pat its head, causing it to lean closer to my hand before licking my palm and disappearing into the shadows to rejoin the other Divine Dogs. After that, I heard Weiss vomit from the side and eyed me warily. Through Invasion, to read her surface thoughts as she thought I was the one who caused all those deaths. And she would be right. But I didn't expect them all to be killed—just a few of them who couldn't stop themselves from wanting to touch Ruby. But I guess Ruby was too much to give up for everyone else in this hotel.
I make my way to the room Ruby and I have been assigned for the night, and Weiss follows unasked, trying her best not to step on any bodies or bloodstains.
As we walk, we see more piles of bodies as we move further into the hotel until we reach the small area for six elevators. All of the elevators have bodies. Only a few have one or two bodies, but that didn't matter, because I made a gap to dump the body somewhere, not in the elevator.
I was the first to enter the elevator, and it took Weiss a few seconds to get in. Her brow furrowed as she couldn't help but step on the blood-stained floor.
While waiting for the elevator to reach the fourth floor, I use Invasion on Weiss to check Weiss's memory, and I'll go out on a limb and say that the chances of Blake being the third person assigned to me are slim. For one thing, Weiss has a similar background to Ruby. The only difference is that Winter loves Weiss and wants to protect her from her abusive father, who, from Weiss' point of view, wants to fuck Weiss more than Winter.
What the fuck is the matter with the father's desire to have sex with his youngest daughter?!
Skipping forward, unlike Yang, who had fallen and didn't know any better. Weiss and Winter's mother were still in the picture enough to help her daughters understand what cruel things could be done to them. Therefore, for her final help, she sacrifices herself so that they can escape the mansion with barely enough spare money to survive for a few weeks. However, Weiss and Winter somehow separated, leading to Weiss ending up in Vale.
And once again, hentai logic strikes again. Because Weiss and Winter never received any training other than to secretly unlock their Aura by going through the old traditional method of unlocking it themselves. Which takes longer than the new and current method of having someone with an unlocked Aura use their Aura to help unlock the Aura of others. This prevents Weiss and Winter from secretly training in combat after their Aura is unlocked.
By sheer luck, Weiss manages to survive by stretching her money to the limit. She even goes so far as to find the nearest clean place to sleep outside while her Aura protects her from the cold. Until today, she had the bad luck of being discovered by a rapist who knows who she is.
I stop using Invasion when the elevator reaches the fourth floor and there are no bodies in sight. But we can see all the blood stains everywhere, even on the ceiling.
Ignoring that, I exited the elevator and walked down the hall, knocking on the first door on the right.
"Ruby, it's me. Jin. Can you open the door?" I said in a calm tone of voice while revealing my name to Weiss at the same time.
The sound of footsteps comes from inside. The door opens and a panicked Ruby jumps into my arms with teary eyes.
"There. There. I'm here." I comfort Ruby, then signal Weiss to enter the room, which she does, and I gently move Ruby inside as I close and lock the door behind me.
"Where were you, Jin?! So many people were screaming for me to open the door, then everyone started screaming in terror as the sound of something chased them outside! I didn't know what happened and I know I wasn't supposed to open the door until you got back!" Ruby began to pour out all her thoughts. All while she clings to me for comfort.
"Well, I noticed that someone was about to experience the worst point of their life, so I decided to help while I was at it. Why not get you a friend as well?" I explained why I was gone.
Ruby finally acknowledged Weiss, who was quiet the whole time and staring at us with envy and sadness.
"H-Hi, I'm Ruby Rose." Ruby greets Weiss, then she looks at me with eyes filled with questions.
"Let's say she has a background similar to yours." Ruby looks confused while Weiss stares, wondering what I meant by that. "Family problems, even an older sister." That gets her attention. "Unlike Yang, Ruby. Her older sister loves her dearly as an older sibling would, but you shouldn't envy her; she has her share of pain, too."
Before the two could say anything. I just use Invasion on both to let them 'see' what kind of life each other has experienced up to a point before my arrival.
Yes, I'm rushing it, crazy voices. But I don't want to go through the whole process of convincing Weiss that I mean her no harm, and then having her get along with Ruby, and having Ruby treat Weiss as a friend. Not someone to be sacrificed.
After the two finished watching each other past. They stare at each other in silence, and then tears flow out.
