Chapter 2: Luck Has Come ( Vanessa)

Hey there guys here's another chapter up for you, sorry if I might have updated late and I noticed the last chapter was short, I will try and improve it cause this is my first time writing a story and I am still young. I hope you continue to read it.

Vanessa found herself in an empty room so dark that she could not see anything even with her great eyesight, there's this light coming from somewhere, she follows that light but that is not just a light, to her it meant something that was so close to her but she just didn't want to believe it. With fear she walked through nowhere, for her she just wanted to know the truth.
"Who is that"
She waits for a response but as always she didn't get any but the light just keep on moving to a place unknown to her.
"Are you my..."
Before she could finish her sentence she felt something hard grip on her hand, she tries to shake him off but she was just wasting her strength. She looks at him with her eyes filled with tears
"You are just like me" she says with her last strength, will he kill her? is this the end of her story she closes her eyes to accept her fate...

"Vanessa, wake up"
She hears a voice so familiar to her which made her wake up.
"Ugh... please let me sleep just for five minutes"
She said so lazy wishing she could go back to that dream 'cause she has a lot of questions to ask him.
She gets up to open the door only to find her sister.
"hey sleepyhead" her sister is giving her that annoying tone again.
"What do you want now Maddie" she gives her sister a questioning look.
"What do I want? Aren't you going to school or do you want to lose your good luck today" her sister asks knowing how desperate she is to find her mate.
"Oh please like there is any good luck around you" she hisses at her sister.
"But if I am bad luck,then..."her sister pauses to get her attention"I have a mate and you don't".
As soon as she finishes the sentence, Vanessa gave out a light growl which of course her sister heard with her sensitive ears.
"Whoa calm down, I am just joking with you okay?"
Vanessa draws back her fangs.
"I know that, it's just that I have been a little edgy this because of..."her sister stops her knowing what she wants to say.
"Vanessa I know it's hard but believe me when I say you are not different from other people you will surely find your mate, now stop being so dramatic and get ready for school, mom and dad are waiting for you".
She hugs her sister 'cause she has been a great support to her every time.
"okay be there in about ten minutes"
She just had to wait for the right time as always.

"Madison I am ready..."she says as she walks down from the stairs her mother approaches her.
"Vanessa my dear come and sit with us,we have something to tell you" she looks at her mother confused she decided to sit down.
"Mom,dad what is wrong"she asks still worried
"Vanessa we know that you have been going through somethings and we want you to know no matter what people say you are not a mistake, you are our daughter, alright? and we will be with you no matter what, so don't ever think you are abnormal, 'cause the Moon Goddess gave you to us and we appreciate it"
Her mom's eyes are filled with tears she uses her hand to wipe it off.
"Don't worry mom no matter what I am your daughter " plants a kiss on her forehead
"Oh I forgot Madison is waiting for you outside, see you later"
she walks out of the house leaving her mother there just smiling and also crying.
She sees her sister in the car horning at her.
"Vanessa, hurry up we are almost late"
She gives her sister that don't-talk-to-me-like-that look.
"Hey Madison how about we do a little race to school I bet I will win".
She knew her sister loves competition especially a dare challenge.
"Okay Vanessa".
She loved it when she was like this."If I win then you will have to allow me to drive the car next time." She looks at her sister.
"While If I win you will have to... I will think about your punishment later for now let the race begin".
they both changed into their vampire and started running into the woods used their eyes and nose for direction. Vanessa felt something so familiar to her that she could not resist, without looking she hit her head on a tree.
"Ow... Madison" but her sister was gone. Her hitting her head on the tree could not stop her but before she reached her sister had won.
" 'cmon I sure I would have won you" she said feeling defeated.
"Yeah you would have won so why did you stop" her sister asks her.
"Honestly I felt something so familiar to me like as it was my..." her and her sister knew what she meant
"Mate" they both said it together
"See? Vanessa I told you that you will find him because I am always good luck "she says feeling proud of herself and happy for her sister "Who knows maybe you are right"
They talk for a while until they see their friends, Sebastian, and Rosemary .Rosemary is a vampire while Sebastian is a warewolf . Madison and these two are the only ones that knows about Vanessa's secret.
"Vanessa did you lose again to your sister" Rosemary asks
"Isn't it obvious to you?" Madison says
All of them starts laughing nonstop
"Try running with her first it's as if she is the wind herself" Vanessa says trying to defend herself
"Don't forget our deal" Madison winks at her
"Hope I will be safe" she says jokingly
"Ha, I hope so too" She says as she walks to meet her mate Jackson
"Jacky baby"gives him a light kiss" I miss you"
"I miss you too"he replied
"Guess what?"she asks him
"Can't think right now"He says
"Vanessa has found her mate"She said feeling very happy
"Wow that's great news who is this lucky boy"
There was a little silence before Vanessa said
"I don't know who he is I just felt him in the woods" .
Jackson looked at her and said"Don't worry since you have felt him I am sure you will find him" he patted her head.
Sebastian said"Alright people let's go it's almost time for class"
And they all said"Okay"
As they were walking Vanessa still felt the presence of someone but she could not worry about that now all she wanted now was to find him but what if that is his presence passing her, she was so lost in her that in no time she hit someone.
"Ah, I am sorry" his body was so masculine is he a vampire or a warewolf she couldn't tell.
Wait! why is he different from other boys, his smell is so intoxicating.
