Chapter 19: 90% Supreme System Experience
Inside the luxurious room on the 51st floor, one of the tallest skyscrapers in the capital of Japan, a bearded old man, and his secretary are reading the report sent by their assistant.
They received news that a party quest was issued just hours after the official launch of the Kingdom
"Don't you think it is early for the players to trigger a quest? A party quest at that?"
His weak and soft-voiced reached the ears of a beautiful secretary standing not far away from his desk.
"Just like Mr. Akagi had said, this party quest was triggered earlier than anticipated. Perhaps the player received external help?"
The old man grins "External help? That's absurd. The Supreme System will not let any person affiliated with my company dive into the Kingdom. Even if they change their DNA genes or thumbmark or any part of their body."
The secretary wryly smiles and responded back "I don't know where Mr. Akagi gets this confidence from."
Saori, the name of secretary has been serving the Akagi family ever since she was capable to serve them. She was fed and raised by them, who nurture her to serve them.
Mr. Akagi only laugh in response "I trusted the whole team that created the Kingdom virtual game, therefore it is only natural my confidence came from them."
Saori can only shake her head softly due to the stubbornness of his boss. It is true that the team behind the creation of the Kingdom virtual game are all geniuses and talented. They also didn't agree to make their name publicly known as a developer behind the Kingdom, they also rejected the idea of developing another game after the successful launch of Kingdom.
Many were disappointed, including her. Imagine the fortune it can bring to their wallet. But the team stick to their decision and decided to take a rest and never be bothered with another virtual game.
To her surprise, Mr. Akagi agreed without hesitation and approved their indefinite leave of absence.

"Just monitor the Forum and give me a report about unusual things that we fail to anticipate."

Meanwhile, in Midnight Inn.
Gerard is currently resting inside the room and drawing up plans for his future.
"Hmm. With the rewards that I received from completing the quest regarding Kurosawa, my worries about funding of issuing quest are resolved for the time being. I also received quite an amount of eternal coin."
But what makes him elated is the 10 Metal Ore. When he read the description of metal ore, he almost flips over and shouts in joy.
Metal Ore is basically one of the rarest items, no matter what the current stage of the game is. It can also be sold at high prices, when he asked the receptionist in Merchant Guild due to curiosity, he was taken aback hearing the prices of ore.
"Sir, it depends on the quality. We identify Metal Ore based on its quality. The highest quality of the ore depends on whether it emits a faint glow, while the lowest quality has a bland complexion."
"Then what are the prices for the highest quality of ore?"
"Depends on the market value, but usually the ore with the highest quality can be sold to 70 Silver Coins to 1 Gold Coin a piece."
For real, when he heard the prices, he gulped and make sure that the metal ore he received from the system is very well kept in his inventory.
For a Special NPC that cannot be killed by players and has no chances to drop items or equipment and should not be afraid, and yet Gerard acting in the opposite way. After all, if he is considered a player, then he is the richest player at the current stage of the game.
And even before that, earlier that day, after he received a notification, Kurosawa being the kind-hearted man he is inside, let him use the house just beside his house. Gerard was amazed knowing the vacant house beside Kurosawa's is still his property. The man sure is filthy wealthy.
Even so, he accepted with full of gratitude, freeing him from the burden of paying for a room in the Inn.
He still vividly remembers what happened today from receiving the rewards to Kurosawa's kind action.

Gerard quickly ticks how to earn or obtain Mastery Points. If he is not wrong, he is confident that through Mastery Point he can advance in his Job. It sounds easy, but if he can only gain Master Points through receiving quests, then there's no way he can advance through his Job no matter how hard he works himself.
After a fraction of a second, a series of information appeared in front of him.

So that's how it is. As long as he can level up his system or receive quests, he can advance through his job. The former is easy since he already met two players that are willing to take a quest from him. To make the two players keep taking quests from him, all he needs to do is tell them that it is a chain quest.
This will surely hook them on his palm, for the time being, giving him the experience he needed and other rewards.
The problem is how he can maintain receiving the quest. He was lucky enough to get a quest because he bumped into Kurosawa. He still didn't know the mechanics of receiving quests. He can think of increasing his charms so he can get a fruitful encounter, but it will take a loooooooot of time!
Before Gerard was able to contemplate, another series of information appeared in front of him.

So when Angel reports to him about the quest, he felt elated once again.
