Chapter 8: Freedom From Destiny

In the bar bustling bar where Thor and Loki was before, only silence reigned now.
Everyone who were spending time at the bar, having a great time drinking, boasting and fighting, were now standing quietly shaking in fear.
Because they had been graced with the presence of the All Father, Odin Borson himself.

Odin was resting on his throne thinking about his sons. He used to be the person who was feared the most in all nine realms and even far away from his domain. And although his reputation in the nine realms was still what it had always been, he was worried about outside this nine realms.
He knew he was Old, very old. He was approaching his limit of time left to stay in this world. Yet he still had so much to do.
His sons, he must train them to be capable enough to lead and defend Asgard. They needed to improve to face the enemies that would threaten them when he will be gone. One of them being his own daughter.
His daughter, Hela. Hela had been locked away in Hel after losing her power struggle to him.
But he knows that after he is gone, his sons will have to deal with her.He understands fully well that his sons are not ready yet to confront someone of her stature.
You ask if he's so powerful then can't he just kill Hela.
Yes, he can. But he won't. After all, no matter what happened, Hela is still his and Friega's daughter. Even if he's very angry with her, how can a father kill his own daughter.
So he's worried and is thinking about how to approach the matter of educating Thor and Loki.
While he was drowning in his thoughts, Frigga came up to him and cupped his face.
"You need not worry about them dear. They were taught by us. They will surely be on par with whatever opponent they are faced with when we are gone.", said Frigga breaking Odin from his thoughts.
"I hope that you're correct on this matter as always, my dear.", Odin sighed, letting his concerns be shown outside his mind in front of Frigga.
Frigga wanted to say something but her eyes widened, as did Odin's.
They both sensed their sons disappear.
"Odin.", Frigga said as she sensed the wrath building in Odin.
"Frigga.", said Odin while holding the hands of Frigga as he teleported both of them away from the Palace to the place Thor and Loki was last sensed.
With a burst of rainbow colored distortion of space, they appeared in the pub where Thor and Loki was last sensed from.
With their entrance the place quieted down so much that you could even hear your own breathing.
Breaking out of his stupor, one Asgardian male with blonde hair kneeled down and greeted them, "Greetings to the All Father and the mother of gods."
Like a stone thrown into a lake that caused ripples, the crowd also followed his steps to greet them.
But Odin and Frigga ignored them and went towards an open veranda.
There they found th bodies of Thor and Loki on the ground with the holography devices still in their hands and their eyes open with the same black light in their eyeballs as Peter had but if course they didn't know about Peter.
Frigga quickly sat next down to their bodies and cast spells to check on them.
"They are still alive", Frigga said with a sigh of relief as Odin nodded with his only eye closed.
"But I don't know what happened to them. It seems as though their souls have left their body. But this black light seems to be keeping their bodies the way they were before their souls left.", said Frigga who was using her magic on their bodies to understand what had happened but her magic was failing because of the intervention of the black light blooming in their eyeballs.
Odin nodded and said, "Heimdall.", calling Heimdall to know what had happened.
With that call, Heimdall came up from behind the crowd back at the hall of the pub, indicating that he was also aware of what had happened.
"My king, I apologize as my eyes couldn't see what had caused this to happen to them.", said Heimdall before explaining what had happened.
Understanding what had happened, Odin and Frigga turned their eyes to the holographic devices that were still in the hands of Thor and Loki.
As they set their eyes upon the devices, the devices activated on their own and ptojected two pictures featuring a world made of cubes with some cuboidal creatures standing near a forest in a world made of different colored cubes.
The only difference between both projections being that the cuboidal creature standing at the front of the screen was different for each projection.
Noticing this peculiarity, Odin stared at the scene for a while before realizing the reason of the peculiarity.
"They're Thor and Loki.", said Frigga who also realized that.
Odin nodded and wanted to say something when voices came out from the projections.
"So has everyone started Streaming?", a girl with red hair among the group said.
"Yes.", everyone echoed.
And With their agreement, Odin and Frigga realized that they were correct in their assumption as they heard their voices among them.
Suddenly a brunette boy said out aloud, " Aunt May is home and she responded in my stream."
Realizing that he may be able to talk to Thor and Loki in this condition, Odin came next to the projections and said, "Thor! Loki! Can you guys hear me?"
Odin saw his name along with what he said appear in the corner of the screen where there was a transparent box clearly to allow communication.
He also noticed that there was a golden [All Father of the MCU] beside his name.
Before he could wonder what that meant he heard both of his sons saying," Father!", while a cube girl said calmly, "Greetings to The All Father." indicating that she was Sif.
And the tranquility of the scene was disturbed as everyone screamed out aloud, "What? Odin's here?"
Undisturbed by their reactions, Odin asked Thor and Loki how they got in there.
Meanwhile
In Kathmandu, Nepal
In a mirror space
A bald women opened her eyes after she used the green eyed neckless on her person to see why she felt turbulence in Time and Space.
"Interesting. I can see what the outer demons will do in the future but I can't see what will happen in this universe. It must be related to that mysterious'Game' but my powers to see the future haz been limited.", said The one named Ancient One as she clearly realized that it was the work of someone that was too much for her and even her universe to handle.
So she was using her magic to peep at what was happening to these poor souls that were whisked away by the unknown hands through their streams.
While this was happening,
In the Outer Void
Oblivion was laughing. Yes you heard that right. Oblivion a being on par with TOAA was laughing.
Why was he laughing?
It was because his power of quasi Omnipotence wasn't working on the universe that Alpha had published his game in. Alpha publishing that game had broken that universe from the bindings of Fate as it had been before. Now it truly had infinite possibilities. It was under no one's direction. Not The Land of couldn't Be Shouldn't Be or even the Land of Can Be Could Be.
That universe was truly free.
And he couldn't see what will happen in there.
That's what excited him.
From since he could remember him being him he knew what will happen and what won't because of his powers but his powers were ineffective for this universe now.
He understood Curiosity. He could feel his own curiosity expanding. This curiosity meant that he could now be surprised. He won't feel nothing like before because he always knew what would happen. Meaning even he has diverted a little from his set path.
Meaning he could truly be free in the future just like TOAA is.
"Thank you, Alpha. For let me witness this magnificent feat. It will surely be the beginning of a new era for both creation and Creator itself as I can feel in you what I felt from The One Above All. It may be little compared to him and me but it's a good start.", said Oblivion.
Alpha just smiled hearing him.
