CHAPTER 55 – His Plans, Her Worries 

Zale's eyes softened listening to her question. 

He understood where she was coming from. He had kept his true identity a secret from her before and now... She had every right to be sceptical. 

"Zale."

He blinked, getting his mind back to her. "Yes?"

"Talk to me. Tell me. Is there anything you are hiding from me, Zale?"

His hands found her face once more. With the gentility of the clouds and the softness of the cool breeze, Zale's fingers trailed the side of her face.

All through his eyes lingered on her face, taking time to memorize every sight before him as though it would be his last time seeing her.

"Zale."

His chest rose, taking in a deep breath and when he released them, they fanned her cheeks, adding to the cool breeze blowing on them.
