Chapter 22: My lord is dying

'What are they trying so hard to protect...?'

'Anyway, let's go in, I will know when I see it.' Instead of coming up with guesses, she went after Xalier, through the unseen barrier.

'I never liked teleport magic...' She felt nauseous, from the strong magical force.

"Ugh..." She shook her head while covering her eyes.

"Huh!?" As nausea passed, she felt the energy of an attack, opening her eyes, a fireball came into her view.

"The hell...?" Pulling one of her katanas out she slashed at the fireball.

'Why so weak...?' She turned to look at where the attack came from. 'What is a kid doing here?' She saw a child dodging a new fireball with a fatigued and sweaty face.

*huff...*huff...* Temorsth landed, sweat dripping from his face as he gasped. 'I need to get close...' He ran forward with his spear, but when he got close...

"Baby... you'd have fired magic..." When Elah's words were finished she already summoned new magic, this time it was in the form of a strong gust of wind.

"Uhhh..." He was sent into the air.

*ough... ouch... agh...* As he flew away he hit the ground three times. He wasn't harmed, since his white fire protected his body. "Uh... this is not fair..."

Temorsth wasn't using his Balance Breaker, yes he would be stronger against Elah but he didn't try to risk even that little chance of instant kill magic. "Oh! Welcome home, dad..."

'Dad!?' Antanasia's reacted to the words of Temorsth, who has landed at Xalier's feet.

"Dad... mom is really scary..." Temorsth spoke words filed with remorse while looking up at Xalier.

He learned of his mother's strength the hard way, Elah wasn't so kind when she caused the damage, saying she knew what his body could handle.

"...!" When Antanasia's heard the word again her eyes widened and her mouth hung open.

'No... no... It's just a mistake... right?' She shook her head as she looked at Xalier, but what he said dazed her even more.

"Son, you don't know half of it, your mother is a real monster on the battlefield." Xalier's voice was different, not the emotionless one he had when speaking with Antanasia.

"Hey! Don't talk about me behind my back." Hearing a woman's voice, Antanasia turned to look at the approaching beauty.

"Olendriant Elahnleth!!? No this... this can't be..." As Antanasia put the pieces together, a shudder ran through her.

"Who...?" Just as Temorsth stood up he turned to the unfamiliar voice.

"Wow... pretty..." Seeing the beautiful swordswoman's long black hair slide down her back, and her clothes as it highlighted her large breasts and cleavage, he spoke up involuntarily.

'She is really pretty...' Looking at her beautifully well-proportioned face and her spotless snow-white skin which emphasized her blood-red eyes and lips, he was mesmerized.

'MILF!'

'Uh, Relatio? How can you be so sure?' The loud voice woke him up.

'She is a vampire... and she looks a little older than mom.'

'Fair point...'

'On the other hand... didn't dad say...' As a thought occurred to him, he looked up at his father, who touched his shoulder after helping him up.

"...?" Seeing the strange grin on his son's face, Xalier had a slight shiver.

"Boy...?"

"Mom! Dad went hunting, right?" Temorsth came up with an idea of how to repay his father for abandoning him without help.

"Boy!?"

"Um, yes..." Since Elah wasn't even paying attention to Antanasia's cries, she didn't even notice anything.

"...then why did he come back with a beautiful woman?" Hearing her son's words her head turned to Antanasia, who looked lost in the situation.

"Bo…" Xalier had to jump back from his son without finishing his words, a large fireball approaching his face.

"Elah..." He had to dodge again and again before he could even speak a word.

"She's... just... a gift!" Since Xalier dodged dozens of attacks, he could only speak one word at a time.

"Oh, that's what you call it now!" Elah's fury shadowed her face, it looked scary as her rage seemed to manifest in the form of elemental magic around her.

*Hahaha...* Temorsth held his stomach as it hurt from laughing. "Go on mom!"

'What is even happening?' Antanasia's mouth hung open her brain was overheating from the information.

She thought Xalier was with the elves and so she knew he must meet with the elf queen, but who would have thought that instead of planning something, they would have a child and the child looked even more than 10?

'He looks more than a hundred... ah, wait he is not pure blood, then around... 30... they have a child that is 30 years old...? What the fuck, how the hell did they...?'

Antanasia tried to collect all the information she could and try and guess what really happened, but to say... she was totally in the wrong direction, Xalier and Elah's new conversation proved it too.

As Xalier got a breather, he tried to explain. "Not for me, our son!"

"You...he's not even seven!" Even though she said this, she stopped the attacks.

'What! Se-seven, but how...?' Antanasia turned to Temorsth who has already stopped laughing, as his parent's fight ended.

In a slightly quieter voice, Xalier added, "I started at seven, and he looks more than seven anyway."

"What!" Although the voice was low Elah still could hear him.

"Nothing, nothing!"

As they both closed in on Temorsth, Xalier gestured to Antanasia. "Come here!"

'Ugh... fuck it! I don't understand anything anymore...' Until now, Antanasia was still in her thoughts, but since she couldn't grasp the situation, she decided not to think about it and just follow orders.

As Antanasia arrived before the three, Xalier led the introduction. "Antanasia he is our son, Temorsth."

"Son, she is your new servant."

"What?!"

"What?!" Both Antanasia and Temorsth called out in confused surprise.

"Why am I getting a servant?"

"..." Temorsth questioned while Antanasia stayed quiet. She didn't dare speak much in front of Elah.

She knew Xalier and met him before not to say she had seen him many times as he was there in every significant and important event her sister dragged her to.

But she was afraid of Elah as she only saw her a few times and primarily she only heard how powerful the Elf Queen was.

"You talked about going out, and since we can't be with you to protect you, there is someone who can protect you."

"What?!" This time it was Elah who spoke.

"She is pretty strong, and the deal of the unique ability still stands, so don't worry my love."

"But still, what if..." Elah closed her mouth as she looked at Temorsth.

Seeing Elah's silence, Xalier continued as he looked at Antanasia. "Then you know what to do?"

"Yes." Antanasia knelt before Temorsth and began her oath.

"I, Antanasia Blesteman, swear by my and my sister's Dao Heart and Mana Core to be the servant of my lord, Temorsth!"

"This oath will not be broken until my sister is protected, I have no orders to hurt her, I can meet her if I want, I will not be sent to my death, and my memories will not be changed..."

"The last two..." Antanasia tried to cheat the oath, but no further conditions were allowed by Xalier as he spoke up.

"Fuck... The last two conditions are invalid!"

"Huh?" Hearing Antanasia's bad tongue, Temorsth's face had a slight shift.

'I like her!' The voice of Feral called in his mind. 'I don't.'

"Uh...?" Noticing his father's gaze, Temorsth returned.

"This is an oath of the Dao Heart." Xalier started a short explanation.

"If you do not trust someone make them swear it... if you want to make it foolproof against demonic beings, make them swear on their Mana Core too..."

"I understand it..."

"Alright, for now, follow after me..." As he finished he started the oath and Temorsth followed his words.

"I, Lear Olendriant Temorsth, accept Antanasia Blesteman's terms and accept her as my eternal servant!"

"Huh?" As the last words were spoken, a strange green energy chain materialized between the two of them, chaining Temorsth and Antanasia's chests together.

[Notice: The Host has formed a soul connection with another being!]

[The Host's new servant Antanasia Blesteman (Cursed Blade) is chained to the Host's soul!]

'What is this... a new tab?' Looking at the new word at the end of his status window, that appeared just now, Temorsath opened it with a thought.

[ Servants:

Antanasia Blesteman (Cursed Blade)...]

'What can I do with a servant?'

[The Host can order them anything and they will follow without a word.]

[Of course, as long as the command does not violate the conditions that the servant and the master made during the oath.]

[The Host can send commands, emotions, and memories to those who are connected to the Host's soul, and the Host too can read emotions and memories from them.]

[The Host feels the presence of those bound to the soul, and if the Jost allows it, they too can feel the presence of the Host.]

[These abilities are active as long as the master and servants are on the same Plane and or dimension.]

[I would like to add that you could have looked at your new servant's stats, level, skills, and cultivation, the problem is that the difference between Existence Ranks is too great, so the Host has no rights from the world to view it.]

'Again this Existence Rank thing... it's starting to irritate me.'

[Then you must become strong enough that the Existence Rank cannot bind you anymore.]

'Hm...' Temorsth brushed it off with a slight frown, he had no chance of gating that strong so soon.

As Antanasia stood up, Temorsth noticed her gaze. "What is it? Is there something on my face?"

"..." Hering the question she hesitated for a moment.

"You... My lord is dying?" Antanasia changed her manner of speech to be more formal, she didn't want to be controlled by commands and orders non-stop.

"..." Neither Xalier nor Elah seemed surprised that Antanasia had noticed, she was only two Stages below them, it was almost natural that she could see the energy of light and dark fight in Temorsth's body.

"Yes, I am!" Temorsth replied in a rather cold and indifferent manner.

"I... I'm sorry is asked..."

"Hm... did you do anything?" Hering her voice waver, Temorsth lightened his tone, he didn't want to scare her, it was just that he didn't like to think about it, since he still couldn't do much other than use his spear to take control of the leaking energy.

"I... I did not." Antansia's words were light, she was afraid of the anger of a child as it could end her life with a thought.

"Then why be sorry?"
