Chapter: 24: Endless possibilities to form a miracle!

------------

[Mansion of the Saijou]

[Otakemaru Pov]

My attention was drawn to a specific direction, a presence both familiar and entirely different from what I remembered.

"What is it, my king?" Manaka inquired, her tone tinged with doubt. She savored the delicious meal before her with evident pleasure, her demeanor always retaining that youthful elegance.

"Nothing much, just a sense of something vaguely familiar..." I replied casually, shedding my apron and placing it next to the kitchen sink. "On another note, did you enjoy the meal?"

"Absolutely!" Manaka exclaimed, her voice unwavering and filled with genuine satisfaction.

I couldn't help but divert my gaze to Rider, who had been 'persuaded' to offer her honest opinion about the food to I had prepared to make sure I was in a good mood so that I could save her from her fate.

After the summoning of most of the Black Faction's Servants, Sakura had been feeling unwell. It appeared that the parasites within her were acting up, demanding an influx of Prana.

"Good..." Rider muttered, a slight pout gracing her lips. She didn't seem pleased about her vulnerable condition, but truth be told, I was relishing the opportunity to tease her. After all, she was quite similar to me in many ways.

I couldn't help but fail to hide a smile as I heard her words. "I'm glad," I said softly, running my fingers through Manaka's hair, eliciting an adorable noise from her.

I was growing attached to this innocent little monster. It was hard not to when she looked so much like my old best friend, albeit with a touch more sadistic tendencies, especially when she wasn't killing humans. But when her did, she could be quite frightening.

The Holy Grail had certainly worked in my favor with this summoning. If it were any other human, I would have likely killed them and devoured their energy to continue this war alone, as I was more than capable of winning it on my own.

"But why cook for us?" Rider asked, clearly perplexed. My culinary pursuits were quite a departure from my usual monstrous behavior, which thirsted for destruction.

"I simply enjoy witnessing people's reactions to the food I prepare," I replied calmly, all the while aware that Sakura's condition was deteriorating rapidly due to the worms within her.

"Anyway, for Sakura, I intend to play one of my trump cards to deal with the intruders in her body and grant her wishes."

Rider seemed to catch on to my intentions. "Are you planning to do this before Bazzett summons her Servant?" she inquired. I sensed her emotions flaring, even the slightest bit, and a small, knowing smile crept onto my lips.

I rolled my eyes, feeling somewhat annoyed by Rider's skepticism. "Of course I am, the sooner the better for her," I replied indifferently. "Do you really think I would prioritize a Servant I've never met over the well-being athan that human girl?"

Rider's response was straightforward. "You're a monster who lives for your own desires. Everything else is secondary, and world might as well burn for all you care."

I couldn't argue with that. It was true that my primary concern was my own interests, but this little girl intrigued me, and that was enough to motivate me. Besides, I had made her a promise, and I intended to keep it. That's what it meant to be who I was, a being who would defend the treasures important to me.

"Go get Sakura; I'll begin the healing process. We've wasted enough time," I instructed, gently stroking Manaka's head even though I could sense her negative emotions. I had been paying little attention to her lately.

Rider nodded and quickly went to retrieve Sakura, who was clearly in distress as the parasites within her body continued to torment her.

"What now?" Rider asked, carrying Sakura over to me.

"Place her in the center of the floor," I ordered, and Rider promptly followed my instructions, laying Sakura down gently.

Manaka, driven by her curiosity and indifference towards Sakura, asked, "How are you going to treat her?" Her interest seemed to lie more in discovering my true abilities than in Sakura's well-being.

Rider, on the other hand, expressed concern for her master. "What are you going to do?" she inquired, clearly prioritizing Sakura's safety.

I approached Sakura and crouched beside her, gently tucking a white strand of her hair behind her ear. A fleeting sense of longing washed over me for a brief moment.

In response to their questions, I smiled but didn't avert my gaze as I focused on detecting the exact locations of each worm within Sakura's body. "Well, these worms have been biting her for years. It's only fair that she gets a chance to bite back a little, don't you think?" I replied cryptically.

Manaka wasn't satisfied with my answer and pouted. "That doesn't explain anything," she retorted.

I reassured them both, "Rest assured, no one touches my treasures without my permission."

"Instead, do you two know when the phenomenon known as a miracle occurs?" I asked, observing their perplexed expressions. My smile only grew more great.

Seeing them both shake their heads, I proceeded to explain, "If a miracle were to happen at an ordinary moment in a human being's life, no one would think of it as such. They'd simply say, 'Oh, hey,' 'You were pretty lucky there,' or 'Strange things happen.' That's all they would think, as they are mere mortals."

Manaka, with her averted yet obsessive smile that seemed to be reserved solely for me, interjected, "Even my meeting with you, my King... It was a miracle."

I acknowledged her statement with a nod and continued, "Miracles are the embodiment of infinite possibilities converging to achieve a desired outcome..." As I spoke, a portal opened next to me, revealing a familiar sword in all its glory.

"Kenmyouren," I said as I grasped its handle, and the sword's divine power and authority began to flow into the surroundings like a mighty river, ready to obey my command.

"To me, the world is like countless grains of sand scattered outward, and I have the ability to look down upon all of them. Although they may appear vastly different, each of these grains represents a potential future. In other words, each grain represents one of the countless 'possibilities' available to be able to decide the logic of this world."

"Kenmyouren: Trichiliocosm (Hegemony of the Heaven)

As the light danced upon my beloved sword, it began to glow with an intensity that revealed glimpses of billions of worlds within its blade, including the creation and observation of parallel worlds.

This Noble Phantasm of mine represented the concept of the trichilocosm, rooted in Buddhist cosmology and the understanding of the multiverse. It allowed me to gather infinite possibilities from various parallel worlds, forming a miracle to be wielded at this very moment.

The sword in my hands shattered into countless shards that floated beside me, while above Sakura's head, a wheel symbol appeared, signifying that the miracle was unfolding in accordance with my will, and the laws of the world had been successfully altered.

I could keenly observe Sakura's body undergoing transformation from within. A newfound vitality surged through her as her organs and functions were enhanced. Her lungs and heart became more efficient, facilitating better breathing, blood circulation, and oxygen and nutrient intake.

Her muscles grew stronger, and virtually all of her bodily functions were elevated beyond the capabilities of a regular human. Even her body's ability to heal itself was heightened, now targeting the worms infesting her with greater efficacy.

The miracle continued to shape Sakura's inner being, gradually compelling her body to consume the Crest Worms within her. Each Crest Worm functioned like a magic circuit in itself, though not of the same high quality as Sakura's own magic circuits, which I could sense were quite remarkable for a Magus.

She possessed a multitude of these circuits, more than a typical magus, even though their quality didn't match that of my Master's.

Her body housed forty-three Crest Worms in total, and they were gradually absorbed, transformed, and broken down until only their modified forms remained.

The process was reminiscent of creating artificial nerve circuits but on a much larger scale. The quality of each worm, once converted into an artificial circuit, was roughly half the output of Sakura's natural circuits, and they established deeper connections within her body.

Once Sakura awakened and fully recovered, she would possess a body that surpassed human limits, boasting a Prana output nearly on par with my own.

With the task completed, I rose to my feet as the sword fragments returned to their sheath, if only temporarily. As I stood, I noticed something rather unexpected, and my face couldn't help but break into a wide smile.

"... Well, this turned out to be more interesting work than I initially thought," I muttered, my attention now focused on the immature beast before me.

"...More interesting? You mean you failed?" Rider inquired, her hands clasped tightly by her sides as she watched me.

I let out a huff of annoyance, "No, as if such power could fail at something so simple," I retorted, finding the notion absurd. "I simply believe I've initiated a transformation within her... However, you should already feel the increased amount of Prana emanating from her."

Her hands relaxed, and a faint smile touched the lips of the graceful Rider. "Forgive me for not monitoring such a change when I was concerned about her health," she admitted with a hint of regret.

I nodded in acknowledgment. "That's fine," I replied, and Rider proceeded to guide me through a magic circle, where she gently lifted Sakura into her arms. As she passed me, there was a momentary hesitation in her movements.

"Thank you for keeping your word," she said, her head bowing slightly before she continued to carry Sakura to her bed, where the girl could rest and recover.

[Interlude]

[Bazett Fraga McRemitz  Pov]

I found myself standing before the summoning circle, which had been drawn with blood that contained my life essence. The reason for this ritual was clear—I wanted revenge on Kirei for taking away my greatest childhood hero.

"Are you ready?" Avenger asked in an indifferent tone. Behind him, the prodigy of the Sajou family followed closely. II could not but admit with great ammement that they were a truly frightening duo to face in Grail War.

I simply nodded. "Make sure to summon someone strong; otherwise, our 'alliance' won't amount to much."

He could only remain silent; everything I said was true. This monster was only assisting me out of his personal interest, and if I didn't at least fulfill this request, he would surely kill me.

So, I was determined to summon the strongest Heroic Spirit, reclaim what I had lost, and secure my victory with my own hands.

I raised my hand into the air and activated all my circuits, channeling my maximum prana output. "Silver and iron to the source. Gem and archduke of contracts to the cornerstone. The ancestor is my great master, Schweinorg."

I began the incantation, and moments later, the area was bathed in a crimson-red glow as the magic circle ignited. "Let the lit wind become a wall. The doors in the four directions close, coming from the crown, circulates the three-forked road leading to the kingdom."

The red glow that illuminated the magic circle rose, forming a small burst of red winds that began to lazily, but gradually, pick up speed and rotate faster and faster.

Shut (fill).

Shut (fill).

Shut (fill).

Shut (fill).

Shut (fill).

Repeat every five times.

Simply shatter once filled. ----Annunciation." my own voice echoed powerfully as I sang, my command seals moved across my chest blazing and burning on my skin.

"Your self is under me, my destiny (fate) is in your sword. In accordance with the approach of the Holy Grail, if you stick to this feeling, this reason, then respond," I commanded, the winds of magical energy that looked like a raging bonfire floating with crimson power,

"Here is my oath. I am he who becomes all the good of the world of the dead, I am he who exposes all the evil of the world of the dead! You, seven heavens clothed with three words of power, come from the ring of deterrence, O guardian of balance ---!"

The world flashed red power and erased everything else, and for a moment, all I could perceive was red. But then I felt it, a connection, like that of with a familiar that crept into my brain, into my very soul.

"Hoh?" The voice echoed through the red light, and a moment later, it faded completely, revealing a woman standing before me in the middle of my summoning circle. She glowed faintly with red embers.

"This is unexpected, but I can't say it's not an interesting turn of events, girl," her crimson red eyes locked onto mine, as if assessing my worth.

I didn't flinch. Instead, I met her gaze and took in a clear view of the woman in front of me. She was a tall, curvaceous beauty with long, dark plum hair, clad in an incredibly tight black bodysuit that seemed as if it had been woven from shadows. In her hands, she wielded two crimson-red spears that emitted an unmistakable aura of bloodlust.

"I come from the Land of Shadows, and my name is Scathach," she introduced herself. Unlike Rider, her voice held no sensuality or warmth; it was as cold and unyielding as hardwood, brooking no argument. "I suppose I should call you master?"

"Yes!" I replied with joy coursing through my being, instantly recognizing the woman before me.

However, it was a pity that her attention was not on me. Instead, it was directed towards the other monstrous presence in the room.
