Chapter 24: Mysterious woman (24)
Aaron internally sigh to himself knowing full well who he was about to deal with.
The question now was, why did that person attack Sara, she has nothing to do with this as far as he could remember.
Aaron used his mouth to tighten his glove before suddenly sighing and looking once last time at Tsumuri.
He will miss the fact that he can't annoy her for a bit, that just meant that he has to finish this quickly.
He tightens his glove before walking away from the room.
Nobody notice him leaving the room except for Ace, Ace soon enough started to follow Aaron as he had some questions that he want to be answered.
He soon reach the hallway where he saw Aaron was waiting for him.
"Before you ask no, I can't unfuck your mother," Aaron said nonchalantly to which Ace just look mildly annoyed.
"Do you know Mitsume" Ace added ignoring Aaron's attitude.
"Yep," Aaron answer nonchalantly.
"Then tell me everything you know about her, "Ace asked to which Aaron just shrug his shoulder before saying "She was the former navigator in this game before the incident"
"What incident"Ace asked looking at Aaron.
"Not telling unless you do something for me," Aaron said in a teasing voice.
"And what may that be"Ace asked curiously?
Aaron smiled upon hearing his answer.
This had to work or he would have to face her again.
Time skip
Inside an abandoned building, Keiwa, Ace, and Neon were searching everywhere for where Sara was until a lady suddenly appeared.
She looked at them before she looked a bit annoyed as her voice seem disappointed as she said"Hmph, he is not here"
Before anyone could ask who she was and what she wanted, she looked at them before saying"Maybe if I kill all of you, he will come"
And as those words left her mouth, she rushed at them before punching Neon.
Sending her flying a couple of meters back, Neon was sent flying before she hit a wall and passed out.
She then rushed toward Keiwa but was intercepted by a transformed Ace.
"I am your opponent," Ace said engaging her in battle.
"And who may you be"The woman said before pushing him away and starting to overwhelm him even though she was not transformed.
Ace could tell, this woman was slowing her down somehow.
"So this is what Aaron was talking about, "Ace said to which the last face seem to brighten up a bit at the mention of Aaron.
The lady started to viciously attack Ace and did not let up in her attacks.
She then seem to speed up even more before engaging with Ace in a fight that seemed to be a one-sided beatdown.
Meanwhile.
Aaron looked a the contraction that was slowly lowering Sara into the acid before scanning it.
As soon as his finger touched it, he got shocked.
He looked at his hands and notice that they were burned.
His hand trembles a bit and he finally notices the Acid on the control panel.
It was painful and it burn him to a whole new level but he just glitters his teeth and went back to stop it.
He slowly and carefully went through the control and slow down the process of lowering her down while also activating the button that would pull her up.
If he made any mistake she would have fallen in the acid pool, he was still healing from the beatdown that lady gave him but he could still operate it.
Eventually, he stopped it and as soon as he did that he smiled, Keiwa immediately enter the room as soon as he finish but just ran toward his sister.
He was worried, he was shaking her saying "Nee-san please wake up"
Tears left his eyes and he cried, Sara soon woke up and said"Don't cry, Nee-san is fine"
Keiwa still had some tears flowing down his eyes and as he try his best to hold them in, his sister smile before saying "It will take more than that to beat your nee-san"
As Aaron watched Sara and Keiwa have a brother-and-sister moment he just looked at it quietly while saying nothing.
Sure he might have some broken bones and some destroyed ribs but who cares.
Keiwa had already lost his parents, and Aaron did not want him to lose his sister.
Aaron then walked away and left the sibling in the room without making any sound.
He could read a room vibe and that wasn't the kind of vibe he wanted to interrupt he first had to heal his shit.
He walked a bit away before meeting face-to-face with Naomi and even though worry showed on his face he just sweats nervously while opening his mouth and saying "I will leave without a fight if you promise to not destroy this building"
Naomi seem to think about it for a while before accepting, Aaron sighed, this woman was a hassle and he rather, her take him than her to try and kill Sara again.
He would even go as far as to kiss this woman to make her stop which made him shudder to his core just thinking about it.
Aaron didn't know or experience that kind of cared and loved that Sara and Keiwa have and so he wanted to preserve it even if he didn't have access to it.
