Synopsis
Back when fishes soared through the heavens, tigers laid eggs, trees prophesied, and chickens twerked; the destiny of all creation rested on the shoulders of a young boy, named; Ji Min!
Our MC had been chosen by prophecy to become the Omni-Being; a peerless existence who was not only omnipotent but omnipresent and omniscient as well.
As the forgotten cornerstone of the very foundation upon which all creation was laid, our MC was able to meet the requirements to be chosen as the herald of the forgotten True Spirit.
But as fate would have it, our MC ended up transmigrating into the body of a little kid who had a soup of chronic diseases.
So, in a world where the strong ate the weak, drank their blood, and picked their teeth with their victims’ bones, what would become of our dying MC?
How will he survive in a world where Qilins are treated as pets and Dragons are made to play catch? A world where overlords grill their meat with tribulation lightning and drink lava?

I can see so many ideas with similarities to other best seller being weaved together here, like a master basket maker. 😅
Author is well know for dealing with themes such as; religion and death, power and helplessness, as well as corruption and goodness. It's a fantastic talent at work here.
This book manages to broach several genre and plot barriers all the while making it look as if author was creating his own genre. The end result is very much like creating a new species of rose; you take those qualities from other roses that you want, and then splice them all together. The outcome is beautiful... Origin is perhaps one of the strongest examples of writers that know their craft. He has a power over words that allows him to evoke strength and subtlety and wonder and mystery into nearly everything he writes. If you are who you truly claim to be and this book is your debut novel, then it must indeed be an incredible piece of work, then.
Just from reading others' reviews, it seems this book is really shaping up to be a science fantasy classic that improves with every read.
The enormous magnitude of the story being told within this novel showcases author's breathtaking imagination at work here. Just the glossary chapter alone will have you hooked (that's in case you missed the synopsis!)
Too often overlooked, possibly due to being dense in allegory and symbolism, the joy of coming to understand the natural elements and mystical arts is part of the joy of reading it 🎈
The big action set pieces of the extraordinary people doing extraordinary things within this story is exactly what many like myself want from their epic fantasy novels.
A subject about cultivation and fantasy is one lesson we all wish we’d had in school. An immense, incredible work of epic fantasy written by a hugely talented author who has created an effortless, enchanting read that is rich, rewarding and completely enthralling. 🚀
Weeks doesn’t squander a reader’s time. Each novel has great movement, mind-blowing events, and plenty of the weird and strange. Though author's first attempt at writing was rough, he had still managed to write books that were full of potential; so I'm very sure this one would be on to lq a whole other level: big, bold, a little quirky, and definitely flashy. Emotionally shocking moments, intricate and otherworldly fight scenes, and lots of loyalty, honour and tradition. This is an epic, unique and often unforgiving fantasy narrative intertwined with glimpses of hope and goodness. The haunting nature of the world is also mixed with betrayals and a huge death toll. Recommended.

Origin_Essence's books can be read by children and enjoyed simply for the magic, battle scenes, adventure and beautifully imagined world. They can also be read by adults and enjoyed for the thought-provoking ideas and themes that the books conjure. I believe this would also be another one such type of book.
Just the synopsis of this book alone, portrays one of the most intricate and fascinating stories I’ve ever heard. To quote a friend of mine, Usman Belem: “It is a rare and great pleasure to find a fantasist writing... with true and enlightening theories in its words”.
This book might not necessarily better than the others, but it is being given good reviews because Origin (Primal Scribe) does a fantastic job at building the characters, magic, and setting as he progresses across the series.
There are a lot of great books out there, but Origin-san just does things differently. His cultivation glossary, the understanding he shows about each stage and their effects just gives me that whammy feeling that I love to feel.
I think the lead character in this novel is an unreliable narrator, and this adds another layer of complexity. If you’re a fan of both science fiction and fantasy, it is indeed a must-read.
