Chapter 229: Chapter-218: Beating Kraven
Suddenly the door was opened and a man with an angry face came in and looked at Alex who was sleeping on the sofa with a cruel expression. He looked like he wanted to eat Alex alive.
"Selene you broke the rules and brought a human here " shouted Kraven with a very angry face and jealous face. He was really pursuing Selene for decades but now she brought a human how can he not be jealous?
"Do you know the punishment for this?"
Then Selene looked at Alex as if asking if he was the person who knew the truth. Alex said the person who knew the truth was coming and the one who came was Kraven.
Seeing that Alex nodded.
"Kraven, do you know who killed my parents?" asked Selene with a calm expression, holding back the anger in her heart, even though she didn't believe Alex's words. But she felt Alex was telling the truth.
Kraven, who heard that was taken aback, not expecting Selene to ask him such a question. He showed a slightly surprised expression for a moment before he regained his composure and replied in a serious tone.
"Don't you know, they were killed by lycans and Victor saved you?" with a confused expression on her face, wondering why she was asking this question now.
Then he looked at Alex and became angry. Selene was the woman he had been trying to pursue for many years, but now she was accompanied by an unknown man in her room. This caused his anger to be off the charts.
His face became hideous and his emotions intensified.
"Don't you think you should explain why you brought a human?" asked Kraven angrily, his voice rising with each word.
"What did you hope to gain by bringing a human into my lair?"
"This is Victor Coven, not yours " Selene talked back. She doesn't fear Kraven whose strength is below her, except for indulging in carnal desires. Kraven is also not good at fighting. He may have been once but now it has degraded to a scum level.
"You are just taking care of it," said Selene
These words broke the gates of Kraven's anger and he yelled,
"You ? ..these are all caused by that damn human "
"I will kill him now" roared Kraven saw as he swiftly moved towards Alex. He extended his hands as if wanting to rip off Alex's head angrily. Seeing this Alex smiled. Then he stood up and arrived in front of Kraven in a second. Kraven was caught by surprise before he could react.
But Alex kicked Kraven's legs, causing him to lose balance and he kneeled in front of Alex. Alex clenched his hand with 10% of his strength. He then punched Kraven's head, causing Kraven to fall flat on the ground and the force planted him to the ground.
The ground cracked as Kraven fell on the ground, his body almost embedded into the floor due to the force of the punch.
This whole sequence of events happened in a matter of seconds, and Selene didn't even see what happened. She just saw a shadow pass and Kraven was beaten to the floor.
But when she saw Kraven planted to the ground, Selene realized what had happened and gasped in disbelief. She knew Kraven was stronger than a normal human to defeat him in just a few seconds, but she also felt Alex was much stronger than her and no vampire was a match for him, except vampire elders.
Kraven groaned in pain on the ground, his face twisted in agony.
"Ugh....."
He then tried to get up, but as soon as he tried to move, he felt a sharp pain shooting through his body but even so, he tried to get up, but even so he struggled to get up and lifted his head and weakly said.
"How...dare a mere human ?"
"Just stay down," said Alex. Then he lifted his leg and crushed his head. Once more, causing him to be pinned to the ground, and he could not move.
"This weak excuse of a vampire," said Alex disdainfully as he looked at Kraven.
"Selene didn't you want to know the truth about your parents?"
"Here," said Alex, as he squatted down and lifted Kraven's hand.
"Drink his blood, you will know the truth. I made it possible for you to read his memories for a moment."
"Now you have two options: either trust me and drink his blood and know the truth"
"Two ignore me and continue with your life, which was built on lies."
"But if you choose the second option, I will disappear and never appear before you," said Alex with a serious expression.
Selene, who heard this, fell into contemplation. She had two choices--listen to Alex or keep living in a lie.
