Norman glanced at this mission with surprise. He didn't expect it to appear. But when he saw the requirements he felt a bit of pain.
The Skill Pagoda works in weird ways. You don't choose a Cultivation Technique, the technique chooses you.
For a Third Class Talent it is already lucky to get a High-Grade Black Technique!
Of course these aren't selfish reasons, but you need a certain level of understanding to learn the techniques. If you overreach you might never advance, only stuck learning the technique.
But all Norman could do was wait. Sitting cross-legged he slowly got used to the power in his body.
While Norman was sitting outside, the disciples began to pick their own practice techniques.
A young boy with long black hair and green eyes was staring around a large empty space. In the sky countless names of cultivation techniques flashed with an array of colours.
''This one!''
Suddenly the boy felt a power course through his hand as the words seemed to be stripped from the list.
A light flashed before forming a small tablet.
''Mid-Black Grade Nine Ghost Formations.''
The boy stared with faint excitement at the jade tablet in his hand. Instantly a stream of information poured into his mind.
However it seemed like his mind was filled with unending information but a fuzzy haze blocked his understanding. It would take small steps to fully understand it.
One by one the disciples walked out. But as more and more appeared Norman continued to get disappointed.
''Only two with High-Black Grade techniques so far? What are the chances that there will be an Earth Grade technique!''
Time slipped by and soon 96 Disciples came out. 5 of them had managed to get a High-Black Grade Technique. And Norman's final hopes fell onto these 4 disciples.
But soon 2 had walked out, each with High-Black Grade techniques.
Inside the Pagoda, a young girl with platinum hair stared at the jade tablet in front of her. Her eyes lit up with excitement.
''Haha Low-Earth Grade Ten Beast Mountain!''
Katy's eyes glowed as she looked at the technique in front of her. She actually managed to get an Earth Grade Technique!
After absorbing the technique she rushed out drawing Norman's attention.
But only a second passed when he received a notification from the System.

''Huh? She actually managed to get an Earth-Grade Technique!''
Norman was stunned for a second before calling over the girl. Looking at the excitable person in front of him Norman opened her panel.

Norman showed a look of excitement.
And as he continued to look at the disciples his smile couldn't close. On average most disciples had a Mid-Black Grade technique with a few unlucky people choosing Low-Grade techniques.
''Compared to the desolateness of the sect before this is far better. Follow me, I will take you to the Outer Disciples Living Area.''
Norman hurriedly led the way to the second outermost layer of the Sect.
The Sanctuary Mortal Sect is divided into 6 Layers. The Handymen area, Outer Disciple Area, Inner Disciple Area, the deacons layer, the Elders Layer and finally the Core Layer.
The Core layer is their current location, with the important buildings of the sect and the Sect Leaders residence.
After two hours of walking at a Mortal's speed, Norman finally reached the Outer Layer. With large Courtyard style buildings each with room for two people, the Outer Disciple Layer can easily fit a hundred thousand people!
''Each of you paired up and chose a house.''
Norman looked around. Fortunately each of the buildings have been built out of expensive materials, with a bit of cleaning and dusting they are fine to live in once again.
''Although there aren't many resources for you to practise with, begin cultivating and attempt to improve your strength quickly.''
''Once a week head up to the Core Area and I will hold a preaching session.''
Norman glanced at them before leaving. After all they would need some time to take care of their practises.
''Sign in for a week and consolidate my practice. Hold the first preaching seminar and hopefully manage to take a few disciples out to experience life.''
Norman showed a faint smile.

Norman who was back in the Sect Masters hall shook his head. This mission was relatively easy, it is only a matter of time before the 100 Disciples break through.
Instead he was more interested in the Fountain of Aura in his System Space.
Getting up from his throne and walking outside, he came to a large field overgrown with leaves. Before it was the main planting area for the Sect.
''System place the Fountain of Aura here!''
As Norman spoke the air around started to twist. A giant phantom of a colossal fountain began to appear.
Four strong guards stood in a circle each holding a giant spear. From the tips a faint mist began to pour out.
As the four lines of mist intertwined in the centre they condensed into a solid liquid falling to the bottom of the marble fountain.
''Spiritual Liquid!?''
This time Norman was really shocked.
Spiritual Liquid is a necessity for practising and growing Spiritual Herbs, but its value is immeasurable. It's estimated that not even a Golden Core Cultivator's net worth can afford a Vial of it!
But here there is a large foundation filling up with it!
Before Norman could get more excited however, a panel appeared in front of him.
