Aria was still in a daze after seeing Manuel face ' now am pretty sure that am in heaven.He pushed her pillow up allowing her to sit up a little then went back to work on his laptop, she really felt pain all over her body. "Are you okay?" his deep voice making her to go in another daze,she shook her head and said "uh..um..I think so, ahh" he ribs hurt.
" Stay put or your bones will not heal" "heal?, I don't..." " you have four broken ribs and your two hands were dislocated"he cut her off short.
"what??" she said with her mouth open " and am still alive'?" " yes, because I took you to the best and the most expensive doctor here in city A".
' expensive ' she squeeze her mouth hearing that ' you could have just left me there anyways' she thought.
"well, it's your problem if it's expensive, am not giving you a dime you could have left me there to die instead putting a burden on your head" she pouted her lips.
"oh you are going to pay alright" he closed his laptop and stood up giving a dark aura around him,he grabbed a file from the desk beside him and gave it to her. "read it"
Her eyes almost popped out reading the file.
" what the fuck is this" she said flipping through the pages" ahh" she screamed ' ohhhhhh..... I should be resting' she shouldn't stress her bones to much. He handed her a pen and said " sign it".
"No!!!!" she shouted, Manuel furrowed his eyebrows at that statement " SIGH. IT. NOW." He said.
She looked at the file again. ' MARRIAGE CONTACT
' It stated above it. " buy why?" "Don't you want to get back at your fiance?" "wait...but how did you know" "let's say a little Birdy told me, now please just sign it I don't have all day" "No I don't want to marry you, I don't even know you". He leaned in on her and smiled, "are you sure". ' wait ' she thought, she gasped as she remembered him, He was Manuel Park, He number one in the top 5 billionaires in the city, he was the owner of Sterling industries and many more company, rumors say he even own 60% of seymour Life company which was owned by Jason father, Mr Harper.
' but I don't understand what he would want with me '
" now tell me , what would I gain by signing it" "hmm... anything you want except for permanent marriage, this marriage is temporary after all" " and you , what will you gain" "let's say I will have total control of you and your body and I can do whatever I want with you " "sorry my last question, how long does this marriage last?"
"it lasts for a period of five months, if you check the last place you will see rules you need to abide by or else you will not like the actions I will take against you".
"and..." before she could continue his phone rang and he excused himself out of the room.
She flipped to the last page, " all contact with other men should be cut off, what??, we are a lovely couple in the face if the public but at home, stay at least 6 feet away from each other, jeez who would want to stay near him, especially in the eyes of parents and other relatives, behave and not show any form that can make people know it's a fake marriage and lastly no asking for love after the five months are completed" she just scoffed at the file ' ridiculous man' .
Manuel enter the room " I have to go to a meeting, don't stress, I've called a nurse to look after you and here, have it".
Unbelievable, it was a new phone and it has all her information from the old phone it in. " ah I thanks".
