Chapter 8: Brotherly Love And First Battle
[All the other nobles leave for the arena except for the Arcadios and The King]
- Hey Luke.
- Yes, your highness.
- What is wrong with your second son? Is he always like this? I mean, why is he taking so many pictures of Noah?
- Please ignore him. He adores Noah so much and has always protected him, but he's never honest with Noah. You could say that he's shy.
Somebody opens the door.
- HEY JYNN! I see that your brotherly love is still as huge as ever.
- You are... The second son of the Laos Family, Anthony Laos
-Your taking pictures of the youngest again. Don't you have enough of them? You have pictures from when he was born to today, right?
- What does that have to do with you?

As soon as he finishes his sentence, Jynn grabs him by the collar, and a fire appears in his other hand.

Jynn lets him go and cancels his spell; Anthony smiles at him and leaves.
- Don't worry about it, Luke. I can see that, as always, your family is very loving towards each other, but at the same time, you all are bad at expressing your feelings. Don't you think it could create misunderstandings, Luke?

- I am truly jealous of your family. If only it were the same with mine. Whether it is my sons, daughters, or wives, they are always fighting and scheming against each other. All to decide who will be sitting on the throne next.
- Oh! It seems like he his ready, says Yoan. Have you decided on who is gonna be his opponent?
- Yes! I already informed him.
The King gets up, and they head to the arena
[5 minutes later in the Arena]
"Hmmm.... I wonder who the King chose as my opponent. The stronger the better I've recovered enough Aura now."
Instead of the amount of hearts, Ki stored in the dantian, Prana in my Prana pool, Rether circles, or Aether. To measure Aura, you need to look at purity. The more pure the Aura is, the stronger you are. In the future, I couldn't reach full purity, and I could only purify forty-five percent of my Aura. Right now, my Aura is only 3 percent purified, which equals one mana heart.

"Are you serious? Such control over mana can only be accomplished when a wind mage has forged five or more mana hearts. You're telling me to fight somebody on the same level as my older brother( Yoann also Forged five mana hearts.)."
- Well, hello, young Aracdios.....
The people in the stands exclaim as the tornado subdues and reveals the person engulfed in it. It was a black man with long green hair. He is a little bit taller than my dad; his face is quite handsome, and there are no signs of his age. Looking at him, people might take him for a young man in his late twenties while he's thirty-eight.
-.... I'm sure you know me, after all, I'm one of your older brother's colleagues and one of those who possess the title of King's Sword. Officially, I am the third Sword out of four. Unofficially I am the fourth out of seven. I am Darius.
Official and Unofficial King's Sword. The difference is pretty simple the Official King's sword are those who have reached the power necessary to acquire the title and acquired it, while the unofficial consist of those that are part of the official, those who have reached the power required for the acquisition of the title but has either refused or they are hiding their power and lastly the future prospect, in other words, those who have the potential to reach the title.
- Oi Oi Oi.... is this for real? What's wrong with this child? Kid, why are you smiling so much?
- I'm glad I'm able to face such a strong opponent. It's as simple as that.
The King starts the countdown.
- 1... 2.... 3.... Go!
I leap towards him and send a right kick toward his leg. He dodges it by backing off with the momentum of the kick. I do a whole spin. I take advantage of the momentum, and this time I try a knee kick toward my opponent's face; he grabs my knee and throws me.
" Damn it! My body is not moving exactly how I want it to move. There's a gap between how I picture what I will do next and what I actually do next. Instead of checking on my magic, I should've got more accustomed to my current body."
[In the stands, with the king]
- I'm pleasantly surprised Luke this child's movements and close combat techniques are quite something, but the way he moves is... odd.
- I agree. This is indeed odd. He moves as if.... he isn't used to his body.
He turns his head and looks at his sons.
- Did one of you teach him close combat technique?
They both shake their heads to answer their father's question
- But more importantly, brother, you agree with me, right?
- Of course, I do, Jynn.
Duke Arcadios asks
- What are you two talking about?
They then answer in complete sync
- Well, beat him up if he goes too far and hurts Noah during the test.
The King and the Duke look at each other and sigh.
[In the arena]
I approach him slowly looking for a gap in his defense
"He's really strong. he's standing in front of me with his hand behind his back, but I can't find a single gap."
-WELL, IF I CAN'T FIND ONE I JUST NEED TO MAKE ONE.
- Lightning magic Lightning bolt!
I compress the bolt of lightning and reduce it to the size of a ball "it'll decrease the power, but it'll have an incredible speed. The lighting bolt goes straight towards where I aimed. HIS PRIVATES
- THIS KID!
He puts his hands in front of them in a rush to block them, and I leap toward him. The bolt hits his hands, and my punch goes straight in his face, which makes him take a step back.
The wind gathers around his hands. He smirks... an evil smirk.
- You..YOU Fucking crazy you'll pay for this one!
"I might have gone too far with this one." thought Noah with a nervous smile
