Chapter 17: Love Rain
Becky pov
I packed my stuff and went to the parking lot. When I reached there I saw my boss already waiting for me.
"hey are you ready to go?"
"yes ma'am." she looked at me with unreadable expression . why was she looking at me like this?
" you know what time is now? office hours already passed. so stop calling me ma'am. just call me as a Nita."
"but your my boss . how can i -"
"just call me nita , beck i am not your boss now. " why she was like this , she was so cool to her employers. that's one of my reasons i needed to work in this company . she is such a good, kindhearted and lovely person.
"okay then n--ita--" she let out smile towards me when she heard her name comes from my mouth.
" you will get familiar with that soon. oh what happened to your hand ?"
"what ? hand?" i got confused about her statement and tried to look at my hand but she suddenly held my hand .
" see .didn't you notice that? " how didn't i notice that. it's a small scratch.
" oh i didn't see it. earlier, when i open my locker my hand stuck in locker knock. "
" carefully okay." she was still holding my hand but suddenly i saw familiar figure walk towards me and dragged my hand from nita.
"what are you doing?" i asked.
" we need to go ." she told and dragged me to near her car.
" didn't you see that nita also there ? " i scolded at her.
"hey freen . what are you doing here and how dare you to dragged her like that ah? you're hurting her. let go of her hand . " when she felt that my hands hurting because of she dragged me, she released my hand.
"none of your business nita. i have something to do with becky. so you can go now."
"what? stay away from her freen. becky came with me and let's go where we had planned to go." i walk towards nita but she suddenly hold my hand tightly.
"where are you going? it's 4.30 so that's mean you have to stay with me . how dare you -" i cut off her . " release my hand freen . its hurt. your hurting me."
"answer me now becky. didn't you forget? do i need to make you remember?"
"enough freen. just let go of her. "
"where are you going then?."
" i need to treat her , she is my favorite employee. so as a dedicated employee, i need to treat her . so don't threaten her anymore. becky told me everything that you hurt her and blames her every day. because of your behavior she is suffering she has a bright future so don't destroy that. enough freen it is not her fault so let her stay away from your heartless behavior. she is so kind, innocent and the person who live with lovely peoples. so she deserves to be with lovely people not with a selfish person like you." my boss shouted with a serious tone. i felt she released my hand and looked at my face with unreadable expression and tears well up in her lonely eyes.
" i am sorry beck for hurting you physically and mentally." after that she went near her car and turn her face to me again and look into my eyes . i felt so sad for her when i saw her face that time. her face looked like hopeless. after few seconds she started her car engine and drive so fast.
why i felt guilty for what happened earlier....
