Aria didn't know how long she had been running or walking but her legs were hurting so much, her began to spin but she continued running in spite of all that.

Her blue eyes looked at the sky that had turned dark. The evening had passed quicker than she expected and it was the time of the night.

She kept running until she couldn't anymore, her legs were hurting so much.

Aria could here the sound of horses and men, she looked around quickly trying to find a place to hide but unfortunately she was only surrounded by trees and hiding behind them wouldn't help.

"There she is."

They found her. She was done for but Aria kept running. Eventually, her eyes gave in and everything went black.

...

Aria woke up from someone splashing water on her face. She opened her eyes with a groan, she sat up and wiped the water away with her hands.

She looked up and found her mother next to her and then she realized she was in big trouble.

"M... mom i...." Before she could complete her sentence, her mother slapped her across the face.

"How dare you?! How dare you run away from the castle? Huh?" She grabbed her arm harshly and she winced in pain.

"Listen to me foolish girl, you'll get married to the prince today no matter what."

There was a knock on the door and some maids and stylist came in, another maid came in with an elegant wedding dress.

"Don't open the door unless I order it." Said the queen and they bowed before she left the room.

Aria was made to sit in front of the mirror as they began to dress her up. Why was she even sad? She knew she was never going to choose whom to marry because she was a princess.

If there was one thing Aria could change about her life, it would being a princess. Because of her title, she had been unable to make friends meet people, leave the castle or even fall in love.

Her father married created an allegiance with the kingdom of Ixtal a very powerful kingdom by marrying her off to the crown prince to gain more power.

A knock on the door interrupted her thought, and a maid came in, "It's time your highness." She bowed

Aria looked at herself in the mirror and noticed how beautiful she looked.

Her mother came in and she smiled, "It's hard to believe that you grew up and I'm here at your wedding," she caressed her cheeks while Aria clenched her fist.

"Come on, everyone is waiting for you. The maids who stood behind her made the hem of her gown proper and the veil she wore and a bouquet was given to her.

Aria descended the stairs carefully so she won't stumble. She took a deep breath and strode into the hall and immediately all heads turned to look at her and the guest stood up watching her.

Her mother offered her a smile while her father just sat on the throne.

Aria sighed, "Where are you, brother." She whispered. If her brother was here he would have done something to stop the wedding, she hadn't heard from him for days and she was worried. He was the only one who cared about her.

With each step she took forward she could feel her heart beating fast in her chest.

When she reached the front of the room and stood in front of the prince and realized how strikingly handsome he was. His blonde hair cascaded down to his broad shoulders.

All the guest sat down and the priest which was there to perform the ceremony began.

"We are all gathered here today to share in this important moment in the lives of the bride and the groom. I ask you all to join together and honouring this day and the vows they will be making."

Aria could feel the Prince's eyes on her and when she looked up, she met eyes with a god in human form. He has green piercing eyes which speaks power and authority. It was hard to look away. His eyes were spellbinding.

"My prince, do you take Aria Wettin to be your lawfully wedded wife?" asked the priest.

"I do," he replied and the priest turned to to her.

"Milady, do you take prince Lycidas Estriden to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

No, she didn't want to but she had no other choice.

"Milady, do you take Prince Lycidas Estriden to be your lawfully wedded husband?" He repeated his question when he didn't receive any reply from her.

"I....."

"Why Isn't she saying anything?"

"Is she being forced to marry the prince."

"She should be lucky that she is getting married to the crown prince of one of the most powerful kingdom."

The guest whispered hysterically to themselves.

"Princess Arianne Wettin, do you take Prince Lycidas Estriden to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

All eyes were on her waiting for her to reply.

"I....I do."

The priest held the rings and said, "May these rings become the symbol of their endless Love and remind them of the holy covenant they have entered into today, to be faithful and loving always."

"Repeat after me, your highness."

"I prince Lycidas Estriden give you this ring as a symbol of my everlasting love for you. I promise support you, care for you and stand alongside you all your days." The prince said and placed the rings on her fingers.

The priest turned to her and she repeated those words and placed the ring on the Prince's finger.

"You may kiss the bride."

He leaned forward and pressed his lips on hers. It was so soft and gentle.

A great cheer went up from the crowd and they all bowed down before the crown prince and the new crown princess."
