Chapter 3: ARE YOU DONE YET?
Walking absentmindedly down the aisle, Isabel didn't notice when she had gotten to the altar, She stopped in her track when she saw an outstretched hand,Without looking up,She took the hand, Which led her to his side.
The procession started, Other people present would think that she was listening to what was being said,but only her knows that her mind had gone faraway.
"Lady isabel".She was jolted back to the present when she heard her name. She looked up and saw a man wearing a purple robe,he seemed to be a priest.
"Do you accept Prince Derrek Lynch Alstone as your partner?".
"Huh!" she looked at the priest with wide eyes.
She hasn't been listening to anything,She hadn't even bothered looking around,Or seeing anything insight.
Seeing that she was about to be joined together to an unknown prince,she panicked. she has to stop this.
And in the next moment, She swayed. She had been practicing this moment for a very long time. she was quite good at acting.
She could hear the peoples gasp, 'That's Good', But?
'Why am I not down yet?. She was only half way down.
That was when she felt a pair of hand was already holding her. 'They shouldn't have been able to catch me this fast' She internally grumbled.
She was waiting to be carried out,Frantically calling for a doctor or something. But she was still in her awkward position.
'What's going on?'. She wanted to peek and see what was happening,but she continued to pretend.
2minutes... 5minutes...10minutes... 'Huh?'
"Are you done yet?". She heard a deep,husky voice near her ear
"...!!!!!". She flinched,'That must be the prince voice'. She could feel his intense eyes on her. 'Didn't he buy my acting?', 'Have they caught on my pretence'. her heart started beating erratically.
"Stop pretending Little witc... Lamb, Open your eyes" and just as if she was being commanded she slowly opened her eyes.
She stiffened when she saw a deep blue orbs staring down at her, She couldn't believe her eyes, She gulped when the Prince slowly lifted her up, She couldn't take her eyes off, No, it felt as if she was hypnotized.
The prince pulled his hands off, But she still couldn't stop staring at him.
She felt as though she was in a dream, 'is this the prince?'. She couldn't believe her eyes, The beauty,She couldn't deny.
'Oh My God', how can a man be this beautiful, she couldn't use the word 'handsome', he was more than that, how can a man be this beautiful, her jaw dropped in fascination.
If staring was a crime,She would be in jail by now.
She felt something slid into her finger,but she didn't care. She was bewitched by the prince ethereal beauty, Everything about him screamed perfection. His jaw, his eyes,his lips.... She gulped. He is sinfully beautiful
She didn't even realize the tears falling off her face.
Meanwhile.....
Derrek on the other hand was amused by the Little lambs' reaction, She kept starring at him intently, that,he didn't mind, But there was something about her, She seemed like someone who just saw a god appear in front of her.
He also kept his eyes on her, Now that he was seeing her,he couldn't help but feel grateful,She looked exactly the way he remembered her, but more beautiful and.... he paused his thoughts
'Wait' he widened his eyes in surprise, isn't she the same girl that just pretended to faint?. Here she is now just saying yes to whatever the priest was saying.
He squinted his eyes on her
She just agreed to take him as her husband, Voluntarily. he felt relieved tho,he didn't have to go through unnecessary drama.
But even as he moved closer to Slid the ring into her finger, she was still staring intently at him, and then he saw her eyes gleaming with Tears?
He put his hand on her cheek,looking at her worriedly. "Are you okay?" he asked tenderly, but it was her tears that fell.
She looked so innocent and cute,he raised her chin and kissed her softly.
The guest started clapping and cheering for them.
And that was when she was jolted back to the present.
She looked around in confusion, Only to see various people bowing in respect.
And like a shocker, she heard the priest say "congratulations My prince, My princess". She widened her eyes. 'When?' 'How?'.
Her eyes fell on her hand,Only to see a Ring!
And like that she passed out,But this time it was Out of shock.
