Chapter 2: 2 A New World
A now 14 year old Dylan awoke as a blinding light shined In his eye. "Do you think he's alive?" A feminine voice calls out.
A male voice responds with, "well he fell out of the sky." Dylan put his hand up and said, "would you please turn that flashlight off It's blinding me." The man looked at Dylan and said, "here I'll stop the light magic, I dont know what a flashlight Is. What's your name boy? We tried searching your bag for an adventurers license or an magic academy ID but all we found was a book full of drawings." Dylan looked at him then said, "my name Is- my name Is-" He grabbed the book and flipped to the first page. "I'm Konoma Palm Frost." The man reaches out and pulls Dylan up. "Well Konoma I'm Courtex and this Is my daughter Myntra." Konoma looked at Myntra, she had pale white skin, long purple hair, brown eyes, and elf ears.
Myntra grabbed her dad and pulled him aside real quick,
"Can we keep him?" Myntra asked.
"No of course not he can't go Into elf territory, he's a human." Courtex said.
"Its not fair that elves can go Into human territory, but humans can't go Into elf territory. Its a shame, he's cute." Myntra says. Her father looks at her and says, "First time that you've ever been Interested In someone, but my answer still Is no."
They un-huddle and face Konoma. He looks Myntra up and down then said, "You look familiar Myntra, I don't know why." Myntra blushed and hid her face with her scarf. Myntra looked at her father and said, "Can't we atleast show him around a bit? It's not everyday you see people falling out of the sky from other worlds." "No! We will be giving him to Zeus. He adopts lost children and makes them full fledged adventurers. don't talk to him ever after this. Think of this as an escort mission except you have to go home now and I'll do the rest by my self," Courtex yelled. Courtex lifted his hand, then Konoma and Myntra collapsed. Courtex caught his daughter but let Konoma fall. He brought his daughter home then went back to the field and picked up Konoma then dropped him on the door step to a house way outside the elf forest border. A feminine voice called out, "Theres an unconscious boy on the porch.
A few hours pass and he woke up In a bed. Konoma got up slowly and looked at himself In the mirror. He was only wearing shorts and he could see that his right arm and left leg were covered In bandages. There was a few bandages wrapped across his chest. He looked at his right eye and saw that the light blue color In It had faded to a white.
The door opened and a woman with a bowl of warm water and a rag walked In. She was startled when she saw him then said, "oh your awake thank the power of Zeus, whats your name boy?" Konoma looked at her and tilted his head. "Its Konoma and do you mean Zues like In the folk lore and mythology? He Is real?" Konoma asked her. She put the bowl and rag on a small table. Then walked over to a wardrobe and grabbed a shirt out of It and handed It to him. He put It on then she told him, "of course he Is, how don't you know? Well come along now."
He followed her out of the room and through the house.
The house looked like a Japanese palace and the scenery looked beautiful.
"I've only seen places like this In history books." he said while looking around. After a while of walking they stopped Infront of a door.
"Through this door Is my biological son and adopted daughter, you are now a part of this family so go say hi. I'm going to prepare food for you guys."she said before walking off.
Konoma entered the room and saw the kids, the boy was practicing with a Katana and the girl had a staff of some kind and was chanting something.
"Oh your finally awake. I'm Zenic and you are?" The boy said to Konoma.
Konoma walked over to him but kept his distance. "Hi Zenic I'm Konoma"
Zenic put his Katana In Its saya and turned to face Konoma.
Zenic pointed at some tables on the other side of the room then told Konoma, "choose a weapon and practice with It."
Konoma walked over to a table and looked at the weapons there.
The first one he saw was a silver dagger. He picked It up without hesitating. Konoma started to attack the test dummys with the dagger. After a few hours he got tired and ate some of the food that the lady brought In. The girl walked over and put her hand out for him to shake It and said, "Hey Konoma, I'm Ruby."
Konoma turned and looked at her with half of a Graham cracker In his mouth.
He put his hand out and shook her hand then felt a poke In his hand.
He pulled his hand away and saw that It was bleeding, he looked up and watched her pull a syringe Into her sleeve.
"Sorry about that." She said to him before raising a hand out toward him and chanting a few words, making his wound heal right away. Ruby told Konoma, "I heard that you appeared on our doorstep, so I'm gonna take some blood for an experiment. Last time I did that Zenic gained his lightning powers at a earlier age than he was supposed to.
Hopefully I can do that for you aswell."
She smiled at him and waited In anticipation for him to smile back. He tried to smile but when he tried he just felt pain. He looked down In disappointment and told her, "I'm sorry but I feel pain when I try to smile."
"Oh so your a Kuudere then huh?" Ruby said back to him. "A what? You mean from Manga right?" He asked. The women walked In and said,"Hey Konoma I'm signing you up for the magic academy."
The next day Konoma dressed up In a gray collared sweater vest with a long sleeved white shirt underneath, dark red sweats, and grey boots. Ruby barges Into the room and looks at Konoma. "Goodmorning new big brother," she says to him. Konoma looked at her waved then grabbed his biker sling backpack. "morning," he said to her before she grabbed his arm and said, "It's our first day at the Magic Academy. Let's get Zenic to show us how to get there." Ruby dragged Konoma along with her and brought him to Zenic's room, barging through the door.
"Big brother, big brother can you show us how to get to the Magic Academy?" Ruby asked Zenic. Zenic shieves his Katana In Its saya wraps It and puts It In his backpack and turns to face them. "Sure thing," Zenic said has he walked past them. "Follow me." He told them. The three walked through the house and out the front door. Zenic snapped and a cloud appeared Infront of them. He hopped on It then gestured to the others to get on. Ruby sat on Konoma's lap because of the limited space on the cloud. They flew through the sky. The scenery around them was feilds of grass and a occasional tree, eventually they came across a few buildings then a small town. Zenic pointed at a hill on the outskirts of town. "That's the Academy. They teach you how to be a adventurer. They don't do boring stuff like tons of paperwork Its all just a place to hang out and train," Zenic says. Konoma looked at the school as they landed at the front gate. All three of them got off of the cloud as It disappeared. Ruby grabbed Zenic's arm and ran ahead with him while shouting about her excitement. Konoma walked passed the gate, then he collapsed to the ground In pain while covering his right eye.
Konoma woke up In the nurses office and saw a young woman with green hair looking out a window. He got up and walked over to a mirror and this time his right eye was completely black and blood stains were on his lower eye lid. Konoma walked out the door and was confronted by a tall, skinny, and tired grownup who handed him a paper with his schedule. Alchemy, magic training, MAGIC P.E., Lunch, free period (no class), and finally practice of wizardry/witchcraft/occult. Konoma walked to his first period class alchemy.
Konoma walked In and saw a witch with blue hair at a cauldron. "Hello you must be Konoma, I'm your student teacher Mary. Please take a seat next to Moon," She said to him while pointing at a light blue haired Asian boy. Konoma took his seat. "So If you mix milk with some strawberries, you get strawberry milk. Also make sure to not mix milk with black berries or things will get explosive. Each of you should have a mini cauldron Infront of you with some Ingredients on the shelf below. Try experimenting on what you can make," Mary said to all of the students. Konoma looked at the shelf and saw a few bottles and a Ice chest full of meats and fruits. He looked up and saw some tall guy wearing all black put everything Into his cauldron, stirring between each Item. Then after he was done he grabbed the cauldron and drank straight out of It, finishing the whole thing In one gulp. "Did he just?" Konoma whispered. "Yes he did. That Is Artigant, he Is our upperclassman," Moon replied to Konoma. Konoma jumped then looked at Moon. "You heard me?" Konoma asked. In the seat behind them Ruby poked her head down then said, "hey guys did you see that upperclassman down there. He Is totally my type." Konoma looked at Ruby then replied, "Ruby go away talk to that ginger girl next to you." Ruby made a pouty face at Konoma then said, "don't be mean big brother," before going back up. Konoma dumped a blue bottle and a few grapes Into the cauldron, then he stirred It for a few seconds. The color was a bright Green. Mary walked over and looked at Moon's cauldron. "A light grey color? Never seen that before," Mary said before she walked over to Konoma's cauldron. "Hi did I do good?" Konoma asked nervously. "Mary looked at his cauldron for a good few seconds then replied, "you made a potion that refills your stamina. Kinda like a cup of coffee or a well sugared tea. I'll give you an A. Oh and Moon A for effort." Moon looked at Mary then shrugged his shoulders. Mary walked over to some other students to judge them. "Hey Konoma was It? Do you wanna hang out later," Moon asked. "Yeah I do," Konoma replied.
Ruby walks over to Konoma while holding a vial of black liquid. "Brother heres your blood back. Drink up," Ruby says to him. Konoma looked at the vial then slowly grabs It. Ruby let's go of the vial and starts bouncing up and down In anticipation. Konoma sips out of It and tastes a hint of copper before slowly drinking the rest of It. Ruby smiles at him then hugs him. Ruby runs back up to her seat. Mary pulled a stopwatch out of her hat then looked at It. "Okay everyone get ready to pack up. We have five minutes left." She said. After the five minutes everyone else got up and left, except Konoma who was stopped by Mary. Mary told Konoma, "I was told that we have our next class together so let's go before the Teacher who teaches this class for the rest of the day gets here, She's creepy. They both left for magic training.
When they got to magic training they were In a big target practice room with Indications and lines saying where they can and can not use magic at. Zenic turned around and saw Konoma then ran over to him. "Sup bro. Have you seen Ruby?" Zenic asked. Konoma handed him a empty vial then said, "guess." Zenic grabbed the vial then looked at Konoma. "Oh I see," he said. Mary giggle then said, "wow you Guys are fun-" she was cut off by a dragon war roar before a ginger girl In a kimono softly landed on the ground and put her wings away, then she took a step toward Mary and put her hand Infront of Zenic and said, "stay away from my Zen you harlot." Mary took a step back and was shocked then grabbed the brim of her hat and put It down over her face. Zenic stood Infront of the girl and said, "sorry this Is my girlfri- wife Alicia. She Is the princess of dragons. Alicia this Is Konoma my new brother. Also Alicia thats Mary she's a witch." Alicia's eyes widen then she walks past Zenic and hugs Mary. "I'm sorry Mary I didn't realize," Alica said to her. Zenic turned to Konoma and whispered, "dragons and witches have been allies since ancient times." Mary and Alicia walked over to a ranged course while Konoma and Zenic walked to a melee course. Zenic handed Konoma the dagger he practiced with the other day. Then he pulled his katana out, unwrapped It, unshieved It, then ran forward with It swinging at the targets. Konoma got the dagger ready then charged at a target stabbing It. The sound of thunder could be heard before a bunch of lightning flew past Konoma from behind him. When he turned around and looked past him, all the other targets were gone and Zenic was standing there with lightning moving around his katana. A second louder and even bigger thunderstrike could be heard before a lightning bolt hit the middle of the room and a man appeared sitting on a cloud. "Hello everyone I am your new Magic Training teacher Zarc. Sorry that I was late my Granddaughter wanted to show me a new magic power she learned," Zarc said while laughing. Distant students start cheering and saying, "woo go Zarc." Konoma looked behind him to see that Zenic Is gone then he looks at Zarc to see Zenic floating on a smaller cloud beside him. Zarc then tells everyone, "Everyone this Is my grandson Zenic, he will be your class advisor, so listen to what he says and ask him for advise when I'm busy." Zarc scans the room then says, "for this class you will be practicing your skills at the melee or ranged target ranges. Go have fun and ask me If you need any help with anything."
Zenic grabbed at his grandpa and floated down to Konoma. "This Is Konoma my mom recently adopted him," Zenic tells Zarc. Zarc turns to look at Konoma then smiles and says, "welcome to the family Konoma. I can sense void magic deep within you, you are a special one." Konoma looked at this mighty and powerful God before him and then tilted his head. "What? Void magic?" Konoma asked. Zarc smiled and said, "oh don't worry about It you'll learn later." Zarc floats up to the top of the room and watches.
"Grandpa huh?" Konoma asks while slicing a target. "Yeah he Is a decendent of Zeus, just like me," Zenic replies. Konoma turns and looks at the ranged course. There's a few mages and alchemists over there. Konoma spots the green haired girl from earlier dipping arrows Into a little pouch on her side and then shooting them. "Zenic what Is she doing?" he asked while pointing at her. Zenic stood up looked then replied, "she Is a alchemic Ranger, or AR for short. AR's specialize In tipped arrows. They also know how to do alchemy. Its an adventurer class that mixes two of the hardest classes to learn." Konoma looked at Zenic then asked, "then what class would you and I be?" Zenic brushed his hair out of his face then said, "I'm a knight, your a Rouge." Konoma's eyes widened a bit before turning back around to attack the target. right when he stabbed It the bell rang.
Mary walked over with Alicia. "Okay Konoma we are going to magic P.E. now," Mary said while grabbing his wrist and pulling him along leaving Alicia and Zenic behind. Meanwhile the green haired girl followed behind them. After a minute of walking In silence they made It to magic P.E.
The gym teacher looked around at the whole class then said, "Goodmorning class I am Grav your Physical Education teacher. Now who Is ready to exercise to get your body ready to use magic?!" A couple hands rose up, but It was still less than half the class. Grav looked confused and said, "After our first unit you can start using your magic to help you exercise, but make sure to keep your usage of It low so then you still get work out of the exercise. So keep It at about 20% or lower any higher and you get an F. Today we are working In groups of three so find a partner." The students started crowding and running around really fast to find a partner. A guy ran up to Mary and grabbed her hands then said, "Please let me be on a team with you beautiful maiden?" A bunch of people ran to the green haired girl, knocking Konoma to the ground In the process. Mary moved her hands away from the guy and said, "thanks but I want to get In a party with my friend," she walked over to a guy with red hair and started talking to him. The green haired girl pushed past all the people and reached her hand out toward Konoma and said, "Hey there I'm Lauranixalina but you can just call me Lauran, do you wanna be on a team?" As he grabbed her hand he nodded his head and she picked him up. The upperclassman from earlier walked up to them, "so everyone else has a team now, can I join you guys? The names Artigant what are your guys names?" Lauran smiled at him then said, "I'm Lauran, second year. You're a fourth year right?" Artigant nodded at her and smirked. "I'm Konoma," Konoma said. "Nice to meet you," Lauran added. "Now that everyone has a team let's get started. We are working on our legs today, so follow me to the track," Grav said as he walked to the field. Grav handed each group pins with numbers on them. Konoma was In group 2. Grav stood Infront of everyone and said, "the objective of today Is to run two laps around the track with your team. Your allowed to trip other teams, but don't purposely try to hurt people. Once everyone from one team are on the ground they are out. Magic Is allowed. Everyone line up at this line and get ready to run when I light the flame." A few seconds after everyone lined up, Grav put his hand up and a flame appeared In It, then everyone took off. A kid with protagonist energy ran ahead of everyone else and when Artigant saw him he gave chase with 'Murderous Intent'. The kid with crazy red hair followed behind them with Mary floating on a broom by his side. Laura patted Konoma on the head, before turning Invisible from a potion she drank beforehand. A few other kids started running, flying, and teleporting ahead. Konoma starts to run after everyone else. Behind him Ruby Is riding a wave of red liquid, which hits him and brings him along with her. Ruby looks at him and says, "hey Big brother, I'm In a group with Mary Sensei and her friend. Let's catch up with them." Ruby maneuvered the wave around the groups of people and got pass them. She was now behind Mary and the red haired guy. "Hello faithful companions," Ruby said to them. Mary turned around to see Ruby and Konoma riding the wave. The red haired guy jumped backwards and started riding the wave. They started moving faster. The wave shifted a bit and a liquid covered Lauran appeared standing on the wave. "My Invisibility! What Is this blood?" Lauran screamed. They kept going and after a while they caught up to Artigant, who was right behind the guy with protagonist energy. "Cocky first years need to be taught a lesson," Artigant yelled out at the guy. The guy with protagonist energy turned around real quick just to see Artigant jump at him. They both hit the ground, then Artigant jumped off of the guy and landed on the wave then said, "sup nerds." Both teams crossed the finish line together. After everyone finished and lined up together Grav gave everyone a speech. He said, "team work can help even rivals reach a common goal congrats to team 2 and team 8 for working together to win." A few minutes went by before the bell rang for everyone to get to their next class and some to go to lunch. Ruby, Artigant, and Lauran ran ahead.
Mary ran over to Konoma and put her hand on his shoulder then said, "hey Konoma I won't be joining you for your next class I'm sorry, but I will help you get there." They walked for a bit until Mary came to a stop then said, "Here's the lunch room. I have to go to the teachers lounge for now see you." She walked away and Konoma stepped Inside the cafeteria, and It was full of kids. A hand raised up and Ruby yelled for Konoma. He walked over and sat down. Sitting at the table already was, Zenic being smothered by Alicia, Ruby Inspecting Artigant's muscles, and Moon chatting with Lauran. Once Zenic freed himself he struck up conversation with Konoma. "So what are you gonna do when you become an adventurer?" Zenic asked Konoma. Konoma looked at Zenic and looked confused for a second like as If he was thinking then said, "I don't really know. I guess I'd travel and draw what I see. Seems like a peaceful life." Right after he said that Artigant leaned forward and spoke, "Boring a real peaceful life Is If you challenge the gods to see If you can become one. You fight one after another with no breaks Inbetween. If you lose then you go train to get better." Everyone stared at Artigant for a few seconds, then they all turned away and started talking to each other again. After a few minutes passed Zenic led Konoma to the lunch line and he got some food. They sat down made jokes, ate their food, and laughed together. Twenty minutes had passed In a flash and the bell rang for the next period.
"Where are you going next Konoma," Lauran asked him. "Free period," he replied. Lauran's eyes widened and she seemed excited and thats when she said, "Alicia and I have free period aswell we just hang out In this empty classroom, follow us." Konoma followed them Inside. The place looked like a type of hangout spot that a teen would make. There were a bunch of beanbag chairs grouped up In the middle of the room, a mini fridge that was loaded with drinks, and cabinets overflowing with snacks. The projector was powered on and there was a movie playing. After a couple minutes Konoma asked Lauran, "Do you know where the bathroom Is?" She grabbed his wrist and they both got up. She led him to where the bathrooms were and waved him goodbye then she left. Konoma walked In and saw a green haired boy staring Into the mirror talking to himself. Konoma used the bathroom, washed his hands, and got out. On his way back to the class Konoma accidentally bumped Into two tall skinny guys and a short guy. All three of them turned around and gave Konoma a mad look. "Oh look Rog Its the new Kid," one of the tall guys said to the other. "Oh yeah Bog and I've heard that he's powerless," Rog said to Bog. "Adsun Is your name right kid?" The short one said. Konoma gave him a look then said, "My names Konoma not Adsun." The short one pointed past Konoma to something behind him. Konoma turned around to see the green haired boy behind him. Rog reached down to grab Konoma, but a gust of wind pushed his hand up and pulled Konoma to Adsun just In time. Konoma looked at the three, now further away from him. Baffled by whats going on Konoma watched from the side lines. Adsun started walking toward them, then stopped about 5 feet away from the three. Rog pushed Adsun back a bit with wind magic, Bog surrounded Adsun with rocks. "Oh that was easy. He'll be dealt with shortly," the Short one said while smiling at Konoma
By this time a small crowd showed up and started cheering the three on and pressuring them to beat Konoma up next. Lauran ran outside and tried attacking the bullies and yelled, "Leave him alone!" A water tentacle came out of the short one's back and held her up by her neck. "Come on K-an-ama save your 'girlfriend' come fight us," Rog said In a mocking way. "I'm not his gir- ack," Lauran yelled at Rog before being cut off by the tentacle tightening a bit. A rock fell down at Konoma from above, when he saw the shadow he jumped out of the way and the rock smashed Into the pavement after a few seconds. A big gust of wind blew at Konoma and he hid behind the rock. The wind stopped and Konoma ran around the rock and put his left hand out and closed his eyes. The short one put his hands Infront of Rog and Bog then said, "Hold on let's watch this." After a few seconds of waiting the Short one said, "I'm bored fold him boys." Just then In a flash Grav appeared and he held Konoma's hand up Into the air. A small black ball came out of Konoma's hand then flew high Into the sky and combusted creating an explosion. Rog and Bog had a scared look on their faces, but the short one smirked at Konoma. "Rog, Bog, and Clyde handleskin! all three of you to the principals office now!" Grav yelled at the three. Grav escorted them to the principals office. Lauran ran over to Konoma who was now sitting on the ground and leaning against the rock, breathing heavy. "Are you okay? Are you hurt?" Lauran asked him. All Konoma did was stare at her. "You should be worried about him," Konoma said to her while pointing at the stone pile behind him.
Laura ran over and saw a small white fox with red eyes pawing at the the rocks. She tried moving the rocks but was to weak. "Alicia help me move these rocks," she called out. Alicia flew over and started picking up and moving rocks. Once Adsun's face was revealed the small fox stood Infront of the rock pile and growled at the girls. Alicia reached for another rock, but got smacked by the fox. She pulled her hand back and made an angry face at Lauran. "Why did you smack me?" Alicia asked Lauran. "It wasn't me It was her," Lauran replied while pointing at the fox. "Theres nothing there Lauran," Alicia snapped back. "Oh so your a fox spirit Is that boy In there your gaurdian?" Lauran asked the fox. "Lauran are you okay? Do I need to check your temperature?" Alicia asked her. Lauran stood up to look Inside the pile. When she saw the boy she screamed out, "Brother?" Lauran grabbed Adsun and pulled his unconscious body out of the rock pile. The fox bit her leg and wouldn't let go, but Lauran picked up Adsun and held him In her arms despite the bite. She started walking to the nurses office. Alicia followed behind Lauran with Konoma In her arms.
"Will he be okay?" Konoma asked Lauran. "Lay down let your Injuries heal dum dum," Lauran told Konoma. "I feel fine. Him though he needs help," Konoma replied. Lauran pointed at Konoma and uttered some words and In seconds he collapsed to the ground.
Alicia gave Lauran a weird look. "What? He wouldn't shut up," Lauran said to Alicia. "His vitals were good and his Injuries were healed, but now that his head hit the ground I don't think that he's fine," Alicia replied. Lauran looked at her then said, "He Is fine, right now I need to worry about Adsun." Alicia heard the sound of a droplet hit the ground. When she looked at the ground below Lauran she saw her leg bleeding. Her pant leg was ripped and there was a bite mark on her leg. "Lauran your bleeding what bit you?" Alicia asked her In a worried tone. "My brothers spirit animal who protects him at all costs, even from his own sister who Is trying to help him," Lauran said In a mocking tone.
The bell rang for the final class. "Dangit Alicia take Konoma to his next class and bring Ruby to me please," Lauran asked while still using her medical skills to try and help Adsun. Alicia and Konoma entered the classroom and he took his seat, while she left to go find Ruby. "Welcome everyone to my class," Mary said as she flew In on her broom. She landed and placed her broom on a rack on the wall. "Okay class today we will all get Into groups to see If you want to practice witchcraft, wizardry, or occultism," Mary said to the class. She walked over to an empty corner of the room and started to put up signs to Indicate the different titles the students can choose for the class. Ruby rushed Into the class and handed Mary a late slip then lined up at the occultism sign. Mary turned to the class then said, "Okay class, time to line up and choose your title." One girl lined up at the wizardry sign while every other girl In the class lined up under the witch title and they were discussing about making an entire group of vigilante witches. Every guy In the class lined up at the wizardry sign. Mary looked amazed then said, "wow everyone that was fast. Our two other teachers will arrive here soon. They are Arnold Sinbac the Arch-Wizard and Claire DarkRaven the Supreme Acolyte." After a minute of waiting they both walk In almost running Into each other. Arnold Is a young looking man wearing knight armor and holding a staff. Claire Is a 30 years old looking woman with a motherly stature with long black hair and a black dress. Arnold walked over to the wizardry section then said,"A whole bunch of promising new recruits that will surpass me In no time." Mary looked at him and said,"don't get your hopes up Arnold." Claire walked over to her section and only saw Ruby. She bent down and gave ruby a pat on the head then said,"How have you been father misses you. It sucks that he retired and no longer can teach you his ways, but atleast I'm here right?" Ruby nodded In response and they both left the room. "Okay wizards follow me," Arnold said to the kids lined up In his section. Konoma stayed behind and just sat there In his seat. Eventually his seat was moved to the corner and he just sat there and watched Mary teach the girls how to practice witchcraft. He couldn't think, hear, talk, smell, taste, only see. Claire walked In with Ruby and they lifted Konoma out of his seat with magic and took him to their room.
He couldn't see anymore, but he could hear.
"You sure that big brother Is the one?" Ruby asked
"Yes he Is I watched It go down and I can sense his magic power," Claire responded
In a flash of light Konoma's eyes opened and a ray of light shined out of both of his eyes.
Ruby jumped back In surprise and asked,"Whats going on will Konoma be okay?
"Yes he will I'm looking through his memories to unlock his powers and potential," Claire responded.
"Thats strange his first memory Is of him waking up this morning," Claire said. Footsteps approached the door followed by people banging on the door. "Claire open this door right now," Mary yelled from the other side of the door. Claire turned around as the door flew off Its hinges and hit the back wall. Mary walked In reached up and slapped Claire, then picked up Konoma with magic and carried him out.
Konoma woke up In the nurses office and saw Mary sitting on a chair next to him with her head on his chest. Lauran was looking out of the window like she did this morning. "She was worried about you, Mary I mean," Lauran said. Konoma looked down at Mary then back at Lauran. "I'm sorry that I've been such a burden today," Konoma replied. "You don't have to say sorry," Mary said sleeply as she rubbed her eyes. Konoma sat up In the bed and looked around the room, everything was blurry. He was still under the effect of the magic spell. The door opened and a few of the people Konoma met throughout his day walked In. Artigant walked up to Konoma and asked, "How are you holding up you lightweight." "Im fine," Konoma replied. Standing at the foot of the bed was Zenic with Ruby on his shoulders and Alicia next to them. "Is big brother alright?" Ruby asked. Konoma slowly got up and with the support of Mary he walked out of the building. "Well It's been nice but I gotta leave," Alicia said then she sprouted wings and flew off. "I gotta leave aswell," Artigant said before he went around the side of the building. Ruby followed him. "Hey Artigant wait," Ruby yelled out. Artigant turned around and looked down at her. "Artigant I-I....I love you please be my boyfriend," Ruby asked with an enthusiastic attitude. The question caught Artigant off guard. He thought back to a conversation he had with his father. "I say yes. I've never experienced this type of thing before so let's see how It goes. You are my type anyways," Artigant replied. After hearing this Ruby broke out Into tears of joy, hugged him, gave him a kiss on the cheek then ran back to the others. As she rounded the corner Zenic grabbed her and said, "There you are I've been looking for you, we are leaving. Mary already left with Konoma. Lets go." They got on the cloud and flew home.
