After the group of four adventurers left, Wayne collected the magic stones of the War Shadows he killed, and he started walking deeper as well.
'I think I will be able to complete the quest after killing the next monster group I encounter.'
Wayne thought and kept descending.
Without walking too much, he encountered the third group of monsters on the fifth floor.
However, this time his enemies were different from the ones before.
'Hmm, two killer ants, and they are eating someone? It seems there was an unfortunate newbie there.'
Wayne thought while drawing his swords as well as his blades.
'I have two mind potions left, and I will need to consume one after this battle, probably. I also need to drink one potion to replenish my vitality as well.'
He thought and started approaching the big ant-type monsters in front of him.
'Killer ants are the other monster type known as the newbie killers aside from war shadows. It was said in the guidebook that I should be wary of their strong attack power and their hard shell. They also tend to attract their companions to the place they are fighting, so I shouldn't drag this fight for too long.'

With those decisions, Wayne dashed to the nearby Killer ant that was eating the thing in front of it.
/CLANK/ /CLANK/
"Huh?"
Wayne let out a surprised sound.
The moment his attack connected with the shell of the killer ant, he felt he just stroke to the wall.
'What the hell? How is it this strong? I can't stop here. If I can't slash it with my sword, that means I should either pierce it or attack it with a blunt attack.'
He thought, and to reobserve the ants, he decided to retreat.
'They have strong shells, which means I need to focus my strength on just one place and attack it with all my might. Should I try that? Nah, it is still too early for me to try it. I guess I will figure it out while fighting.'
/CRACK/ /DASH/
But, without waiting, the killer ants attacked him with their mandibles.
/CUT/ /SWOOSH/
Wayne dashed back, dodging the bite attack of ants, and jumped in the air holding onto the ceiling of the dungeon.
/EXHALE/ /CRACK/
After relaxing his body and tensing his muscles around the feet, he bolted towards to the killer ants below him while rotating his body in the flying process.
/CLANK/ /CLANK/ /CLANK/ /CLANK/ /CLANK/
All of his five blades attacked the same place one by one, but none of them was able to pierce the shell of the killer ants.
'Hmm. It is getting weaker attack by attack. It seems I can use that as well.'
He thought again, dashing back to regain his momentum.
/SCREECH/ /SCREECH/
The killer ants suddenly screamed, and they started attacking more ferociously.
'Anyway, this much data is enough for now. Let's not drag this out any longer.'
With that thought in his mind, Wayne took the stance he was practicing in his free time.
This stance is neither Wing Chun nor any other martial art stance.
It is derived by him from other martial arts he learned, and its sole purpose is to put all his strength into one simple attack.
/EXHALE/
He closed his eyes and took a four-point sprint start position.
"Huuh."
/CRACK/ /DASH/
He suddenly bolted towards to killer ants.
But this time, his speed was faster than it was before.
/SPLURT/ /SPLURT/
And while he dashed towards the killer ants, all of his blades were in one place, grouped together like a drill turning in the air.
With that movement, he passed through them while killing them instantly with that one strike.
"Cough, cough. That was a bit fast, and I think I got some dirt in my mouth."
He muttered and spat the particles inside his mouth.
"This attack is pretty useful, but it still needs some improvement."
He said and went to collect the magic stones of killer ants, but they were nowhere to be seen.
"Hmm, where are the bodies? Ah, I see. So, I passed through their magic stones, didn't I?"
He said, and at that moment, he heard the system sound in his head.
<Ding! The quest {Reach the fifth floor} is completed.>
<Rewards are being distributed.>
<Ding! Congratulations, the system has leveled up!>
'Hmm, as I have said, the quest is completed just like that.'
He thought, and he turned back, starting to go back to the surface.
'Since I have finished my quest, I shouldn't push myself too hard. I have almost depleted all my mind potions as well, and there is only one left right now.'
He thought while gulping the mind potion he bought for 10k Valis.
'I should turn back, and since I will also fight with the monsters while returning to the surface, I won't waste my time as well. I should check my gains in the church after I finish exchanging the magic stones and other things. Right now is not the time to do so.'
He thought and started walking towards the way he came.
Just like that, Wayne was able to finish his first exploration of the fifth floor without getting injured, aside from some small ones.
While returning, he only encountered one group of frog shooters on his way back to the fifth floor, and he killed them without wasting any time by targeting their eyes.
After that, it was a pretty much simple dungeon killing, just like he did while coming to the fifth floor.
However, this time it was a bit harder for him since he was a bit tired after all this fight.
But he was able to return to the surface at approximately 3 p.m.
"Hugh, I am finally back. All those fighting pretty much tired me out."
He muttered and started walking towards the guild building on adventurer street.
Although there is a branch of the guild for adventurers to exchange their magic stones in the Babel Tower, Wayne likes to go to the Pantheon since the queue there is smaller.
And just like that, he reached the guild headquarters and queued up.
After waiting for a bit, he exchanged the magic stones he got for today, and he was able to make 80k Valis today as well, even though he killed fewer monsters.
The reason for that is simply because the stronger monsters get, the more expensive their magic stones get as well.
And since it is rarer to find this stronger monster's magic stones, their prices are getting up as well.
And that was the reason he made this much money, but considering he needs to buy another five mind potions from the Miach Familia, it is not that much either.
With that, he reached the church and started checking the things he gained from today's raid…
