Chapter 58: 5.7 This messenger doesn't play

Dayou stood next to Atlas admiring the view with him. He looked at Atlas and felt his heartbeat quicken. Atlas' eyes were shining, and he had a tender smile on his face.

Dayou never thought of his engagement with Atlas, as anything more than a business deal. But now, he feels that maybe they could be partners and genuinely be there for each other.

He already likes him, and he knows that Atlas does too, or he wouldn't have expectations about him. Dayou wants to show him he wasn't wrong to believe in him. He'll make sure Atlas is never disappointed, ever again.

Dayou never thought he would come to like him, but he does, and he wants Atlas to fall for him. He doesn't want Atlas to marry him, just because it's what his mother wanted.

He looked at the tent and said:

"Atlas, everything is ready. Let's have lunch."

Even if normally he would only have blood, he knows that Atlas likes human food, so he sent a few assistants beforehand, to prepare a picnic for them.
