CHAPTER 100

288 AC

A/N: I added the pics of Sith into the aux chapter.

After putting Lord Stark in great shock, I went and found Kegan and Harlik. They were at the barracks training as usual. I've trained with them many times this year and followed their progress. Kegan had 7.5 str and 9.8 spd, while Harik was 1.95 meters tall and had 9.7 str and 7.3 spd. Since they are still adolescents, they will continue to grow for about four more years. It was great luck to find these two. When they saw me coming, they immediately greeted me.

"Sir Drasil, welcome back."

"Kegan, I always say so. You don't have to call me "sir." The reason I'm here today isn't to train. You both always say you want to join me. Today we're going to put it to the test whether your words come from the heart or the tongue."

Kegan asked confusedly:

"How will you do this?"

...

Together we ride out of Winterfell into a desolate area.

"Listen carefully to what I'm going to tell you now because there will be no turning back. If you really want to join me, I will accept you, but I have a way of knowing one hundred percent whether your oath is true or false. If you are unsure of yourself, let's not try it because if you fail this test, I will have to kill you. I can't let people who are not loyal to me know my methods."

They both looked at each other, and I allowed them to have a short talk among themselves. When they came back, Kegan said:

"I have no doubt that we will both pass when we take this oath, but I want to know what kind of commitment we will have to you, if possible?"

"You will have one hundred percent loyalty to me, but you will not be a slave. You do not have to obey my orders if they are against your being, but you will never be able to go behind my back. If you act within the code of honor, you will be no different than you are now."

"We accept."

Then using oath magic, I had both of them exercise loyalty and then sent them to 50 men who belonged to me. These men were to join Jory Cassel's men to go to Deepwood Motte and wait for me there while I used Sith to set out for Blazewater Bay. Over the years, Sith surpassed Berus and Lyka in size, reaching about the size of a small horse, and running speed was about four times faster than a horse. Because of me and the loads on our side, Sith could move three times faster.

When I had a special saddle made by Winterfell's saddle maker, the size and shape were very strange, but after giving him the two gold Dragons, he made a saddle as I wanted without any objections. She was fast like the wind, and Thanks to my buffs, her stamina had also increased, and the distance she could travel in a day increased by 3x.

Some super breed horses can travel 60-80 km per hour, but of course, they have to rest for a day after all this trouble. Sith, on the other hand, can naturally travel a distance between 180 and 250 in a day, and with my stamina buff, I had advanced 750 km in 3 hours and reached the junction of Blazewater Bay and Stony Shore, but because Sith was too tired, she couldn't join the battle. By the time I got here from Winterfell, the Ironborns had crossed Cape Kraken and split into 2.

15 ships had begun to lay siege to Flint's Finger, and another 25 continued north. The five ships that had finished their work on the side of Flint Cliff were coming two days behind. Seven of the ships advancing to the north went close to the coastline and started to leave the group one by one to raid any coastal towns and villages they saw. This was bad news for the public but very good news for me.

For the past two moons, I have stored arrows using Lyka, Berus, and Sith near every village and town on Stony Shore, knowing that the Ironborns will attack in a moon or two.

There are more than 100 arrows near all settlements. Erebus and his murder followed the group raiding Flint's Finger, while Poe followed those heading north. I was now stationed on the hill behind the village, waiting for them as a ship approached the fishing village. There were about 100 soldiers on board, and the distance from where I was from the shore was around 100 meters.

The villagers were just waking up as the day had just dawned, unaware of the approaching ship. When it was five hundred meters from the shore, I started shooting the bell in the village square with arrows. Hearing the emergency bell, the villagers started to leave their homes and noticed the approaching ship, and they all started to flee in a hurry. Almost all the villagers left the village within 5 minutes and started to flee towards the hills.

Just then, the Ironborns reached the shore and began to disembark quickly. While they were getting ready to enter the houses, I shot four arrows in a row toward the area where the group was most concentrated and immediately got four new arrows. All 4 of my arrows were hit, but only three died. My eyes allowed me to see 100 meters distance as if 20-30 meters away.

The Ironborns, who thought they were ambushed by many because I fired four arrows at a time, they lost 20 men in a minute, but they realized where I was and started running toward me. Sith might not have the strength to fight, but she could certainly run faster than a human, even in her heaviest moment. As I cast eludo jelmio (Warding Wind) on myself and Sith, their arrows always missed us. I was showing them practically why all the countries in the world trembled before the Mongols.

They followed me for 200 meters with some hesitation, but it was obvious that they were a little scared because they saw such a big kitty for the first time, but because I was the only one, they continued to attack without paying attention to those who died next to them. Within 5 minutes, there were only 20 raiders left out of the 100 under the rain of arrows. They had already begun to retreat, but it was too late. I had shot nearly 130 arrows before they could return to their ship, and only seven managed to escape.
