Chapter 51: CHAPTER 47

"Last place gets expelled?! But this is just the first day! It's too unfair!"
Ochako said as the whole class except the few agreed, to which Aizawa-sensei retorted back.
"Natural disasters, big accidents, and selfish villains. Calamities whose time or place can't be predicted. Japan is covered with this unfairness. And also, do you think that they will just wait for someone to come and defeat them?"
"He does have a point."
"But Nii-san — !"
Denji whispered to Ochako as Midoriya just stared at the two with a shell shock face.
'Nii-san?!'
That was what Midoriya's face was yelling as Aizawa-sensei continued.
"Heroes are the ones who reverse those situations. If you wanted to play and be with your friends at McDonald's after school, too bad.
For the next 3 years, UA will do all it can do to give you hardship after hardship. The motto of UA is "Go Beyond, Plus Ultra.""
He then smugly grinned at the class with a 'come-on!' finger gesture.
"Overcome this with all you've got, Class 1-A."
The class's motivation just spiked from the atmosphere, as everyone was starting to warm their arms or legs up subconsciously in preparation of the upcoming tests.
"All right, demonstration's now over. Be prepared, the real thing starts now."

TEST 1: 50-METER DASH.
There was two 50 meter track that went straight together next to each other with a robot with a camera and arms at the end of the finish line to record the time.
"On your marks..."
The robot's voice rang as it gave the countdown.
"Get set... START!"
WHOOSH!
In just more than a second, Iida who was at the starting point disappeared and appeared once more at the finishing line with smoke coming out of his legs' exhaust pipes.
"Beep! 1.7 seconds, Iida Tenya!"
"The highest for 50 meters is 3rd gear..."

Iida Tenya! Quirk: Engine. As you can see, his legs are fast! Faster than his anime counterpart of 3.1 seconds!

He exhales as he shrugs his legs to cool down the exhaust pipes.
"Well, he's like a fish in water with that Quirk, though..."
Aizawa-sensei muttered to himself as he watched Asui hop to the finishing line.
"Beep! 4.1 seconds, Asui Tsuyu!"
"Kero. He sure is fast..."

Asui Tsuyu! Quirk: Frog! She does whatever a frog can! Spider-Man in a nutshell but it's frog instead!

"The others are quite fast themselves..."

"Lighten up my clothes and shoes..."
Ochako muttered to herself, tapping on her clothes and shoes with her fingers as a light pink glow appeared when touched.

Uraraka Ochako! Quirk: Zero Gravity. Anything she touches will be null of gravity! But it makes her really nauseous if she goes over capacity, meaning vomit city!

With a deep breath, Denji's right eye turned red as he willed himself to reduced his gravity by 5 times.
Wisdom of the Sage: Gravity X-5.

Uraraka Denji! Quirk: Gravity Manipulation (Fake). By simply looking at an object, he can manipulate its gravity and gravitational pull at the cost of stamina! What a Quirk!

"On your mark... Get set... GO!"
WHOOSH!
In an instant, Denji crossed the 50-meter distance as the robot beeps.
"Beep! 1.2 seconds, Uraraka Denji!"
Looking at his sister running with significant speed, he could only sigh as he once again couldn't persuade her to start training with him.
"Beep! 5.7 seconds, Uraraka Ochako!"
"Wow, that's a 1-second difference from junior high! Denji, look!"
"I heard, I heard."
"One twin is stronger and faster while the other isn't. It must be due to self-discipline and hard work."
He noted it down on his mini tablet as Aizawa continued with the test.

"Hmph! Everyone, you're not being creative enough!"
Yuga Aoyama said as he turned his back facing the finish line, making the class and Ashido Mina next to him look confused.
"I'll show you what it's like — "
The robot started counting down as once the test started, he jumped midair before activating his Quirk, a white laser beam that propels him to the finishing line.
"— To be allowed to use your Quirks!"

Yuga Aoyama. Quirk, Navel Laser! He can shoot a laser from his bellybutton, but...
============================================
Halfway in the test, he suddenly stops his Quirk, making him land on the floor and letting Ashido smoke him before firing his Quirk once more, making him lose time from that stunt.

He's limited by the amount of time he can shoot continuously since it gives him a bad case of stomach ache if he overuses it!
============================================
"Beep! 4.64 seconds, Yuga Aoyama! Beep! 4.1 seconds, Ashido Mina."
He just looks behind him to the class with a weird smile, making everyone think 'What the heck?'.
"Looking at the upper limit of your Quirks and the room for growth in each result, it becomes clear what you can and can't do."
Aizawa noted as Ashido gave a thumbs up with a grin to Denji who was watching her run.
"You're quite fast, Ashido-san."
"Hihi! I know right?"

Ashido Mina. Quirk, Acid! She can secrete an acid substance that acidity depends on what she sets to! An alien predator!

It was now Gohru's turn, as he was paired with Yaoyorozu who was suddenly taking her uniform off, leaving her sports bra visible.
"Woah!"
Closing his eyes at the unintentional flashing, he turned the other way as he got into a running stance. He could feel the class's eyes on him, which just makes his grin wider.
Tensing up his leg muscles, he hears Yaoyorozo's Quirk manifesting something with her Quirk as it usually emits a sound and a rainbow flash when she uses it.

Yaoyorozu Momo. Quirk: Creation! Using her lipids in her body, she can create anything she wants as long as she knows the composition of it! Basically EMIYA but more busty, curvy, mundane and boring!

"On your marks... Get ready... START!"
BOOOOOOM!!!
Dust from the training ground rose up as Gohru kicked forward, reaching the finish line and going over it in less than a second.
"Beep! 0.51 seconds, Jin Gohru!"
"W-What the heck?!"
"F-Fast!"
"Isn't he too strong?!"
The class couldn't believe the sight as Yaoyorozu who was riding a scooter finished the test with wide eyes.
"Beep! 3.4 seconds, Yaoyorozu Momo!"

Jin Gohru! Quirk: Never-Ending Grind! His body adapts much, much faster than the normal human being! Hard work is the game for this Quirk!

TEST 2: GRIP STRENGTH
Holding onto the grip measurer, Gohru decided to do it later as he watches the class doing the test for now.
"Woah!"
Looking at his left, he sees Sero Hanta look at Shoji Mezo holding onto the measurer with three left arms.
"720 kg! Are you a gorilla or something?!"

Shoji Mezo. Quirk: Dupli-Arms! He has a set of arm-like tentacles adjacent to their arms that can transform into duplicates of their other body part! Four Arms but better!

Sero Hanta. Quirk: Tape! He can create adhesive tape from openings located on both of their elbows! It's surprisingly sticky on touch!
============================================
Seeing that time was almost out, Gohru tensed his arm before pushing hardly.
BEEP!
Looking down at the display, he just raised his eyebrow as he sees 894 kg. Looking at the direction of the Uraraka Twins, he sees Denji getting a 478 kg.

TEST 3: STANDING LONG JUMP
Boom boom boom boom boom boom!
Gohru just whistles as he watches Bakugo soar into the sky and pass the sandbox with explosions on his arms to propel himself using the explosions as thrusters to fly.

Bakugo Katsuki. Quirk: Explosion! He can excrete nitroglycerin-like sweat from their palms and ignite it at will to create explosions of various sizes. Art is an explosion, literally!

"Beep! Bakugo Katsuki, Sandbox Cleared!"
Crouching when it was his turn, he puffs his cheeks before jumping, clearing the sandbox in one jump.
"Beep! Jin Gohru, Sandbox Cleared!"
Landing on the ground, he watched as more than half of the class used their Quirks in creative ways to get over the sandbox.
