"So that's why you wore a mask and didn't cut your hair for two months, this was the surprise you were telling me" Kaoru immediately guessed the reason why Eita started wearing a mask 2 months ago.
"As expected of you, you solved it the first time, how about, how do I look?" Eita asked his friend, although he already knew the answer.

"Well, it was two months of constant exercise and a lot of personal care products plus…" Before he could continue the teacher arrived so they fell silent.

Widening his eyes Eita collected his things and walked to the seat next to Masuzu, he sat quietly and stared into space still shocked by the situation 'This has to be a joke of fate, hahahaha, damn I can't believe Fate plays with me that way' Eita could only laugh sarcastically before coming back to reality and sneaking a look at his new neighbor and one of the most beautiful women he had ever seen.
'It doesn't matter if it's a joke or it's my plot armor, the important thing is that I have a chance again, I just have to be patient and let the fish (Masuzu) take the bait by itself' Following this plan, Eita ignored Masuzu and doesn't look at her at any time.
Even when she dropped her eraser on the floor in the middle of class, all he did was reach for it and hand it back without saying a word, to many his attitude seemed cold and rude, especially with a girl as beautiful as Masuzu, but he knew that this was the path to reach her.
Over the course of the day, Masuzu dropped various things, from pencil, pen, and eraser again and Eita kept picking them up and passing them to him without engaging in conversation, Eita already suspected that Masuzu was only testing him because who hell drops so many pencils in the course of a day.
Eita put up with it and acted as if he didn't notice his obvious attempt to get his attention, this continued for the next two days, in which Eita went through his normal routine which now included receiving the hatred and envy of all the male students, besides acting clueless every time Masuzu looked at him or did something to get his attention.
