Chapter 49: 49. A great mystery behind
"Abraham, who is he?" There were so many people that could be named Abraham, yet Richard could not link anyone with the Talen family.
"Abraham is my little brother." Richard could sense a little hint of sadness from Albus while the latter spoke.
"What a strange day. I'm just getting confusion upon confusion. Now, who is this little brother that Albus is speaking of? Dracul never remarried after his wife died. Wait, his wife Alita died giving birth to a boy named Abraham. But how is that possible? I personally went to the hospital that day using my old appearance as Lenny. I did examine that boy and talked to Dracul that day. It is impossible for the boy to survive. Any ability used on him would have caused his body to explode. Even by sacrificing a demon crystal, there was no way to save his life."
The conclusion of his thought terrified him. Such a well-hidden mystery. It would have remained a secret if he did not come today. Richard thought was in a mess. Here he was, thinking that he was controlling everything behind the scene but his own descendant had made him a fool.
He was feeling proud. Now he just had to confirm it.
"Is Abraham the one that was birth on the day your mother died? How was Abraham able to survive and why was he hidden from the world? Where is he now?"
This time all the energy inside the basic crystal was used and it crumbled to dust. As a result, Albus answers the secret.
"Yes. Abraham is my little brother that was born on the day our mom died. As for how Abraham survived, none of us know. My father saw Abraham was getting better one day and he decided to announce his death to hide him from others. He didn't want Abraham to become a lab rat for others to figure out how he survived. After the death of our father, I went back to the military and Abraham stayed with Aunt Jane, his babysitter. But when Abraham turned 10, he left and since then we have had no information of his whereabouts. I promised my father to look after him, and yet I don't have a single clue if he is even alive."
Even under the influence of skill, it seems that Albus was not able to contain his emotions as tears could be seen running down his face.
As for Richard, he perfectly understood the reason behind Dracul's decision to hide Abraham. Right now, he was feeling the desire to diagnose Abraham to see how he escaped death. After getting everything clear, Richard was still feeling that something was missing. He knew that if he was feeling like this, then surely there had to be something that he was not remembering.
Richard used a skill on himself to boost his memory and decided to start to review the event from Abraham's birth. He went again and again on the moment he spent at the hospital that day. Yet there was not a signal thing that he missed. Abraham was just a normal baby. Not even those being that has transcended being mortal could save him.
"Wait a minute. There was another event on the day Abraham was born. The communication crystal I used to communicate with Bliss was unresponsive. From that day onwards, I never saw her or felt her presence. Are both of these events connected together?"
Bliss was someone Richard had a close relationship with. It was more like a work buddy and both were trying to use the other. Bliss was one of the so call gods that looked after humans. Richard had a communication crystal that was used to send and receive messages from her. But on the same day that Abraham came into this world, the communication device became inactive. That was something that happened for the first time since he received the crystal from Bliss. At first, Richard thought that the crystal was malfunctioning but since then, he had not seen Bliss a single time.
The way she usually operates was far from that. For Richard, things were getting more dangerous and exciting as he was mostly sure that there was someone bigger than Bliss that was working behind the scene. For now, all he could do was to meet Abraham.
But with how not even Albus knew where he was, Richard could only plan their inevitable encounter.
"I'm giving you this small device. You should keep it safe and well hidden. The day you learn about Abraham or he comes to meet you, find a moment and press the button on the device. As for our meeting, it never happened. Continue to live normally."
Richard gave a final order to Albus while giving him the device. Next, he went to order both Ginny and Quinn to forget today's encounter. He was impatient to meet Abraham and give him a huge surprise.

Having completed the necessary training about all the different situations and work in the military, Pele was finally ready to move up the ladder. During the past years, since being selected to maintain order in the lesser district, Pele has been working for the military. In return, he got credit points, the current global currency.
During that time, Pele has been training on his Qi development. There was not a single day since Abraham had taught him that Pele did not train. The process was really slow for him, but when comparing him now and the Pele in the past, there was a huge difference. He was more robust and had even greater stamina.
Due to his great work, he was promoted in the military and was given the job to go collect beast crystals from some planets. Coincidently one of his destinations was planet Lintarnia. The planet where Sabre hunted and his group of students were. Among them was Leo, a hero of war.
When the first time Pele when to the planet, he came face to face with Leo, and on the first encounter, he found the man looking at him strangely. Qi's training was only known to the small group he was part of. His master was the only person left during his time that still had the knowledge of Qi.
During his many fight against the dalki, Leo was able to meet a lot of people. Many of them that were doing regular near-death battles had Qi in their body but none of them was aware of that. Apart from his teacher, Leo saw another person that had a lot of Qi and that was Julius; the supreme leader. Due to his ability to wireframe vision, Leo saw the world differently.
He saw humans with a yellow aura and red for beasts. If a human had a significant amount of Qi, a green aura was seen inside the yellow aura of the human.
That was exactly what Leo was seeing Pele as. He was curious how someone so young and without an ability was able to manifest his Qi to such a level. Pele's Qi was not great like Leo himself but it was still a good amount.
Leo decided to slowly interact with Pele and find out about his secret but at the same time, he also introduced Pele to his master Sabre Hunt who didn't hesitate for a single moment to take Pele as his student.
On his side, Pele remained quiet about his encounter with Abraham and decided to go with the flow.

First of all, thanks to everyone who has been together with me on this beautiful journey. You guys have been a great community.
This chapter marks the end of volume 1. As from the next chapter, the second volume will begin.
It has been taking a toll on my mental health as after my full-time job, I was using my time for this novel.
Thus, I will be taking around 1-2 weeks as rest and to also build up the chapters of volume 2.
Finally, I have decided to really start the p@treon, so volume 2 will be released earlier for Patreon users.
