Chapter 99: What are the Eyes of Heaven?
After jumping through the portal we soon in turn arrived back in my manor here in Egypt, specifically my study where I went over and took a seat, where Pucci sat across from me on his own chair.
"Pucci we have a lot of things to discuss, but I want to make it clear, the me you met when you were younger, and the me before you are both completely different people from each other with different ideals from one another, but even so would you still wish to follow me even if I'm different from the man you once knew?" I say as I look him straight in the eyes.
"…. Do you still wish to attain happiness and peace of mind as the one I knew did?"
"Of course I do, but with seeing how Fate went against you after everything you had done for me after 'his' death, I came to realize that how I thought to bring happiness to those people originally was all wrong…." I say before the book of his story appeared in my hands before I handed it to him.
He soon opened it and saw it was a manga that gave the specific details of everything that happened during his part of his story, and how it all ultimately ended for him.
It didn't take him long to speed read through it all the way to its end and the conclusion of it all before he put it off to the side and hung his head in shame, "In the end I failed you through my hubris as a mere child defeated me with my brothers stand huh…." It clearly took a big hit to his pride seeing how it ended for him and that even if the Joestars were no more they ended up living happy lives without the curse of the Joestar bloodline plaguing them any longer as a result.
"Fate in the end was never on your side, Fate being against you in your moment of triumph truly makes Murphy's Law stand to be true, 'Anything bad that can happen, will happen.'" I say as I lean back and pour myself a glass of wine before drinking from it then putting it back to the side.
"What I plan to do is ascend beyond that of the mortal flesh and truly become a god of my own, one that would willing give the humans the happiness and peace of mind they always wanted, and I have found the way, but like before I need your aid my friend." I go to explain to him.
"Whatever you need of me Dio, I shall help so long in the end it will lead humans to the happiness they deserve." Pucci said after he gave me a nod.
"Then I shall show you this." I say before I stand up before waving my hand as a shoveled corpse appeared before me with only its spine missing as it laid on the ground.
At the mere sight of it made Pucci stand up, before falling to his knees as he looked at it as his eyes began to flow with tears at the mere sight of the body, "Dio…. Is this the body of who I think it is?"
"Yes, it is known as the Holy Corpse, and is in fact the corpse of Jesus Christ himself." I say as I look at the body of the son of god himself.
"How…. How did you come by his body?" He said as he reached out to the body, but from what I saw it did nothing, thus he wasn't worthy to bear it himself.
"His body exists in only an Alternate version of our Earth, one completely separate from our Earth, his body parts grant miraculous powers who bear his body within themselves, I was also favored by the body as his spine fused with mine, which gave me the power to jump into your timeline." I say as I remove my jacket to show my more pronounced spine through my black shirt.
"Ohhh, even the body of the son of god himself find you worthy of his blessing." He says with tears in his eyes before I put my Jacket back on.
"Of course he did, however it seems I'm not completely worthy of his entire body, which is the only way I can ascend is through him, all I know as that the way to Heaven is through the Eyes of Heaven, but I don't know how it is done, so I need you and another of my followers to figure out how it's accomplished." I say before I decided to telepathically call one of my prized followers.
(Peggy, I need you to come to my World, I require your aid.)
(As you wish Dio-sama) and soon enough a elderly man appeared before us.
"Pucci, this is Peggy, you shall work together to figure out what the Eyes of Heaven truly mean as Peggy is the smartest of all my followers by far with knowledge of multiple worlds so you both working together to find out what it truly means." I introduce themselves to each other as they shake each others hands.
"As you wish Dio-sama, I will work together with Pucci to discover what you are looking for, unfortunately there are well over 1,500 books that reference the words, 'Eyes of Heaven' so this might take some time." Peggy said as he nodded to me.
"That is fine Peggy, there is no rush for you both to discover what it means right away, no need to rush as you both have all the time you need to research this, but I shall leave you both to it as I need to meet up with the rest of my men and set them into motion what." I get up and begin to leave as I wave them both off.
They both nod in my direction before they both begin their research on what the Eyes of Heaven for themselves as after all it's much cheaper to have your men research it then just buying the info from the chat itself.
In my absence a few days have passed and it seems that Anubis had been able to find the five people I was interested in and being able to convince them into joining my side and were all waiting for me down below, so I went to see them, but of course I needed to give them a taste of their new masters strength.

A pulse of energy came out from my body and downwards through my manor before it reached my new recruits who all fell to their knees in fear and awe at my presence alone as I slowly approached them as they could only hear the sound of my footsteps and the pounding of their heartbeats within their ears with only Anubis and Enya properly bowing at my oncoming presence.
"Hoho? It seems everyone has been gathered here, well then some introductions are in order." I say as I appeared up upon the top of the stairs and look down upon.
"I am DIO! I am your Lord, and the man who holds this world in the palm of my hand, so I welcome you all to my side." I say as I look down upon them all.
Today the Agents of DIO have officially been formed.
