Chapter 13: preparation for the storm
"Are you ready?"
Elizabeth and Thomas would stare at each other for a long time. Then, Elizabeth would start to leave the arena and say to Teacher Jade, "I surrender."
All those present looked at Elizabeth without expression and asked themselves, "Why did she surrender?"
Jade didn't understand Elizabeth's withdrawal and asked her, "Why did you surrender?"
Elizabeth walked past her, saying, "I'm in the mood for ice cream." She would turn to Thomas and ask, "Do you want to go with me?"
Thomas looked at her for a while and replied, "Yes, I'm in the mood for ice cream too."
All present understood absolutely nothing of what was happening, and some whispered, "Is he Elizabeth's friend?" "How did he manage to be her friend?" "Are they going on a date?" Several questions were asked by students, but none were answered.
Amanda, Annabelle, and Brian looked at the scene shocked, not because she had given up, but because Thomas was Elizabeth's friend, a simple D rank, walking around with her was strange.
Jade ignored them and said in a loud voice, "Thomas was the winner!"
As Thomas walked beside Elizabeth, he reflected on what Charles had said. "I think he was right. I'm really pathetic. After my humiliating defeat to Elizabeth, I wanted to prove myself. I wanted to show everyone that I was strong, but I chose the easy way out, resulting in chaos and destruction."
Interrupting his thoughts, Elizabeth spoke to him, "Thanks."
Thomas looked at her and said, "I didn't do anything, so don't thank me."
Elizabeth smiled at him and said, "If you hadn't let him fight me, I would never have changed. I thought the problem was always me, always blaming and judging myself for not being accepted by my family. But he showed me life from a different perspective, so thank you!"
Thomas was surprised by her words, but he just waved at Elizabeth, and the two went straight to an ice cream shop.

In a pure white palace, a majestic being appeared, sitting on a throne with his eyes closed, with golden hair as if it were the color of the sun, a very well-sculpted face, and a tattoo of the sun on his forehead. He opened his bright blue eyes and said in a calm tone, "So you're finally back... Brother."
Suddenly, someone spoke desperately beside him, "Creator, did you feel this power?"
The mysterious being spoke in a calm tone, "Yes, Michael..."
Miguel, who looked shocked, asked the creator, "How is that possible? Didn't we destroy it that day?"
The Creator heard his son's questions and replied in a calm tone, "We defeated it, but we never destroyed it..."
Miguel, who looked even more shocked, asked again, "How is this possible?"
The Creator sighed and said to Miguel, "The darkness is relentless... A trick like the one we used couldn't kill my brother..."
Miguel heard the words of the Creator and asked, "What should we do?"
The Creator thought a little and replied in a calm tone, "We can't do anything now... We can't locate Darkness because he's cloaked himself, and even if we knew his location, we couldn't do anything against him without Lucifer... it just puts the angels on high alert."
Miguel bowed and said, "Yes, sir!"
The Creator watched his subordinate leave and said in a low voice, "Why haven't you attacked yet?"
In a dark space, Charles was saying, "So I have the power to do basically everything... But would I be able to face the Creator? I don't know... He is the most powerful being in the universe, although his powers are not aimed at destruction, he has at his disposal three archangels."
(Creator is the strongest being in the universe, due to the fact that he cannot be hurt by any being he created, being able to erase any creation he has made, and since the entire universe was created by him... You already know how powerful he is, but at a limit, he cannot create any being that is stronger than him, and the stronger the being, the less it could be created.)
"But one thing I'm sure of, I wasn't raised by him..."
Charles sighed and spoke as he watched Thomas eat ice cream with Elizabeth, "And this child wasn't created by him either... There are so many mysteries."
He sighed and said, "Let's think about it later..."

While Elizabeth and Thomas were eating ice cream, someone was watching them. A man was watching them from just over 100 meters away. To be more specific, he was watching Elizabeth. He said, while talking on the phone, "Warui will attack the students on the exchange day then? Hahaha... I can take advantage of that." The man hung up the phone and disappeared like the wind.
Thomas looked at Elizabeth and said, smiling in a happy tone, "Strawberry is so good..."
Elizabeth smiled as she took a scoop of Thomas's ice cream. "Let me taste some!"
Thomas looked at his ice cream, which was almost gone, and Elizabeth's spoon, which looked like a mountain of ice cream, and said jokingly, "Don't you want to take the whole ice cream too?"
She laughed and said, "No, no, I'm not that greedy haha."
He sighed when he saw Elizabeth's answer and said in a serious tone, "Do you mind training with me?"
Elizabeth heard the question and replied, "Don't you have that girl with you all day? Why don't you train with her?"
Thomas said hastily, trying to justify himself, "She's my best friend! And she always takes it easy on me at practice, so it's hard for me to see where I'm going wrong..."
Elizabeth smiled at Thomas and said, "Of course, but I'm only doing this because you're my only friend."
Thomas was surprised and asked, "We are friends?"
Elizabeth listened to the question, thought for a moment, and replied, "You do not want to be?"
Thomas quickly corrected himself by saying, "I want to! It's just that people usually avoid me..."
Elizabeth smiled again at Thomas and said, "We have that in common at least hahaha."
"I think you're right hahaha."
They finished their ice cream and headed straight for the training area.
