Chapter 55: Brian vs Ghost (End)
The ghost watched Brian approach him but stood still and waited for him to attack.
Brian analyzed his opponent's posture and mentally said:
'So you are underestimating me?'
Brian was 2 meters away from the ghost and used his innate ability of absolute control (wind) and increased his speed and accuracy and quickly attacked with several blows.
Ghost watched the attacks coming and calmly dodged all the blows.
Brian attacked and Ghost dodged, this was repeated for a few seconds until Ghost found a gap in Brian's attacks and decided to counterattack, but when he was about to attack Brian, he sensed a danger and quickly gained distance.
Brian, with the help of the system, analyzed the situation and reflected:
'So he knew that was a trap... his experience is really impressive, but the system already predicted this outcome!'
Suddenly Ghost felt that something was wrong with his clothes, he noticed a mana circulating and forming around his right arm, but it was already too late.
Suddenly a huge explosion was happening in Ghost's body, something that created a huge pressure on the battlefield.
Brian had used his absolute control skill (atoms) and put his mana into the tissues of the ghost's suit as he attacked, and when the ghost moved away, he gathered all the atoms around the suit and exploded them.
But Brian didn't relax, not least because he knew that the ghost was still alive, all thanks to the system's fusion with his brain.
After a few seconds, the smoke screen lowered and the sight was of fanstama kneeling with his upper garment torn off and his mask partially destroyed.
He stood up as he wiped the dust from his body and said:
"If I had taken a little longer to protect my arm with my technique, I would have lost it completely."
Brian looked at the ghost and noticed that his body was well outlined and defined and the only part that was revealed of his face, was his right black colored eye and some part of his hair.
The ghost stretched out and gave Brian a look and said:
"Now it's my turn."
Brian's eyes widened and he quickly went into defensive mode, but it was too late.... A sharp punch was landed on Brian's face.
The force of the blow was so strong that Brian flew from the favela to the middle of the city of Rio de Janeiro.
He went through building after building, until he fell onto the asphalt of an avenue and thanks to his speed and the grip of the ground, his speed slowed and finally stopped when he crashed head-on into a truck. The people on the avenue, and the truck driver, fled the scene.
Brian found himself unconscious, a blow of that caliber, and hit right in the face, caused his mind to black out.
'Wake up, sir! He's coming!'
The system was giving him a shock to his brain and Brian woke up in a fright and quickly got out of the truck and asked:
'Damage report!'
'Fractured ribs, cracked skull, broken nose, back burns and dislocated shoulder!'
Brian felt agonizing pain and stiffness in his body and said:
'Annul the pain and release the physical limits.'
Suddenly, all pain was nullified and Brian felt a power gain and he looked up to the heavens and noticed that someone was approaching him.
Brian punched his shoulder to put him in place and stepped deep into the ground and advanced on the ghost.
Brian realized that exchanging blows with that monster was fatal, but he still had his intangibility and said:
'I didn't have time to activate it before, but this time, I won't make the same mistake!'

At one police station, some heroes were getting calls saying that the city was under attack, others were saying that there were two people fighting.
One of the heroes got up from his chair and said to the rest:
"Have the elite heroes investigate these reports, I'll check on the cow we captured yesterday."
"Yes sir!"
He appeared to be a deputy from that small police station and started walking to where the cells were.
As he entered, he saw a woman in chains and noticed her appearance; she had an extremely beautiful face that matched her beautiful black hair and blue eyes.
(The woman was chained by magical chains.)
She looked at the man and asked angrily:
"What do you want?!"
"Me? I just want you to help me, so that I can help you."
"What?"
The man started walking and stopped in front of the cell and said:
"You are Polly, a warui villain, so you know what will happen to you if you are extradited to the United States, right?"
(Polly was that woman who was fighting Connor moments before Leviathan appeared.)
She looked into the man's eyes and asked him:
"What do you want?"
The man opened the cell with his keys and answered as he took off his pants:
"I want you to do something with my friend down here."
Polly knew what the man wanted her to do, but she knew that most Rio heroes, are usually corrupt or treacherous, so even if she does that act, he has no obligation to release her.
She looked at the man and spat in his face and said:
"Go to hell."
The man wiped the saliva on his face and punched Polly in the face and said angrily:
"Cow, who do you think you are?"
Polly fell backwards and the man started kicking her in the ribs.
This continued for some time until the man stopped and said as he grabbed Polly's hair:
"You will do this, or you will die."
The magic chains, were limiting her power, she was literally an ordinary human in front of an awakened one. She had no strength to fight, so even if the man wanted to rape her, she could do nothing and just watch.
The man took off his underwear and Polly said desperately:
'Somebody, please!'
Suddenly, a wall next to where Polly and the man were standing was broken and someone walked through it.
The noise was huge, something that frightened those present and shook the whole police station.
The hero dropped Polly and looked at a man who was unconscious on the floor, his face was completely beaten and he had white hair and his red eyes were completely clouded.
He quickly put on his clothes and went to check on the boy, but the next thing he knew, the ghost was in the same hole where Brian had entered.
The man quickly turned around and asked:
"Who are you?!"
The ghost didn't answer him and looked around the room and noticed a familiar face in a cell and started walking towards polly's cell.
The hero, seeing that he had been ignored, got angry and quickly clamped the ghost's shoulder, trying to stop him from walking and said:
"Do you know who I am? I can end your life..."
Before the hero could finish saying, the ghost punched him in the head. The power was so great that the hero's head was completely destroyed.
The man's body fell to the ground and blood stained the place.
The ghost looked at Polly and walked back to her and stopped in front of her.
Polly was scared, she thought the masked man was going to kill her, but suddenly the masked man crouched down and broke the two chains that were holding her and said while pointing his finger at Brian:
"Get him out of here and take care of him, understand?"
Polly felt her strength recovering and said cheerfully:
"Yes sir! I'll take perfect care of that boy!"
"Good, then I'll be going."
He stood up and stretched his back a little and shouted as he looked up at the ceiling:
"Bring me back Johnny!"
Suddenly a huge light took over, which forced Polly to close her eyes and as the light began to dim, she noticed that the masked man was gone.
Polly quickly got up and walked over to Brian and put him on her shoulders and soon after she escaped from the prison, before the other heroes arrived.
