Chapter 61: Deciding on clothes.
I exited the bathroom after taking a nice warm shower and I was greeted by Mio and Tess holding up clothes which were all sprawled out over my bed.
"Why did you take out so many?" I asked seeing the mess they made.
"Kiera! Try all of these on for us." Tess said as she passed me a black dress.
The dress had some gold towards the bottom among the frills and had some golden butterflies towards the top.
(I'll add photos to each dress I describe since I'm bad at describing clothes. I'm not really interested in fashion, I'm sorry.)
"This won't suit me." I said.
"Just try it on!" Tess said.
"Fine." I said as I went back to the bathroom and began to put on the clothes.
'Why did mother buy me so many clothes.' I thought as I returned back to Mio and Tess.
"Wow! Kiera you look really good but the gold doesn't really match you, I'd say at least but it still looks really good on you. Right next dress!" Mio said as Tess passed me another dress.
It was a long black dress and it had a split along the thigh and the edges had white fur. It had see through black sleeves.
I walked back into the bathroom and put it on and came out with the other dress on my arm.
"Still you look amazing but how old are you again? 13? You look older then that because of your mature look and height but your still a first year. Should we try simpler dresses?" Mio said.
"It doesn't matter to me. Just pick one so we can leave." I said. I didn't want to be here all day because they couldn't find a dress they wanted me to go in. I didn't even want to go to the party but Tess was going and she wanted me to go with her so I decided to go.
"Well I did look at a simpler dress so we can try that on?" Tess said as she took the dress out of my hands and gave me another one.
I walked back to the bathroom and got changed.
This dress was shorter than the rest of the other ones I had been given and it was black just like the others. It's had white buttons along the waist going down and the end of the dress would be on the lower half of my thigh and just above me knee. It had long black sleeves down to my wrists.
I walked out and Tess and Mio just stared at me.
"Good or want a different one?" I said.
"This looks great on you! I still want to see the last two ones I picked on you though." Tess said as she placed another black dress in my arms.
I hanged into the dress and exited the bathroom.
This dress didn't go over my shoulders and you could see my back, instead it had bits of ribbon going around my neck to keep it up. The end of the main part of the dress ended just above my thigh but had see through black fabric continuing down and reaching the floor.
"Why do all these dresses look so good on you! You'd probably look in rags." Tess said as she handed me another dress to change into.
"Last one then we will decide." Mio said with a smile.
"Fine."
I got changed into the last dress and came back out.
This one just like the other didn't go over my shoulders and had see through black fabric going up to a choker to hold it up. This one showed my back as well. It had a slit down both of my thighs so it made them visible and came with gloves.
"This just makes it difficult to decide." Mio said.
"It doesn't matter to me so just pick." I said.
"But it matters to us! You just don't care about anything!" Tess said as she held up a dress.
I couldn't say anything to that because I really couldn't care less.
"I think its between this and the one Kiera is wearing now. Although the simpler one is good she just looks to mature to wear it to a party." Tess said.
"Agreed." Mio said with a nod.
"Done?" I said.
"Umm- you can go in that one. They all look so good though." Tess whined.
"Still a tough decision but you look stunning in that dress along with all the others." Mio said.
"Now we need to get changed!" Tess said as she rummaged through her wardrobe.
Tess ran to the bathroom to put it on.
She came out with a red dress that also had a thigh split and had two straps going over her shoulders and her lower back was covered while the top half had an 'X' pattern from the straps.
"Do you have any clothes Mio? Wanna borrow some?" Tess said.
"If you wouldn't mind." Mio said with a smile as Tess looked through all our wardrobes including Catherine's.
"Here." Tess said as she threw a dress at Mio who caught it and went to get changed.
Mio came out in a white dress that had feathers going over her breasts. There wasn't a strap to hold up the dress but it was tight on her so it wouldn't fall down. This dress also had splits down the thighs.
"You all have good taste." Mio said, "shall we get going?"
"Yeah!" Tess said as she grabbed me and pulled me out of our door and the dormitories double doors before leading me to the main hall.
"We have about ten minutes to get there. You took a long time deciding." I said.
"It's fine, it's fine. We will make it and we will have tons of fun!" Tess said.
"Kiera you can't have any alcohol, Tess you can. Keep that in mind." Mio said.
"I didn't want any anyway so that doesn't matter." I said.
The age to be considered an adult for dragons was at the age of 10 but for humans it was 15 so Tess was considered an adult to humans since you join this school at 12 and Tess had been her for three years but she was still underage to us dragons by a year.
"Anyway let's hurry up! I want to get there quickly!" Tess said as she yanked me and began running.
