Chapter 25: Hiashi vs Ryu (Part 2)
Hiashi suddenly felt his hair stand on its ends as Ryu seemed to flow like water.
His palms fell limp as Ryu crouched slightly, if you saw One Punch Man, you'd be surprised!
This looked like Bang's Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist!
Of course, it wasn't the real thing!
Ryu only imitated what it looked like from his memory.
Unless he got it from the system, he couldn't possibly know it…
But imitating it was fine!
With the in-depth mimicry from Gentle Palm Fist as a base, the fake Water Stream Rock Shattering Fist was born!
Ryu warned with a smile, "Be careful… I might accidentally kill you."
Hiashi snorted but didn't refute it.
He charged forward and thrusted a palm!
Ryu opened his guard and Hiashi slapped his right shoulder, Ryu suddenly spun with the momentum and slapped Hiashi in the mouth with his left hand, sending him flying!
Hiashi smashed into the wall and sat up with shock on his face, saying "What?! How!"
Ryu curled his fingers, opening his eyes slightly as he said "Beat me and I'll tell you." Hiashi flickered and appeared in front of Ryu, smashing his palms quickly!
Ryu moved his hands, blocking Hiashi's palms by smacking his wrists, before moving in and thrusted his palm at Hiashi's chin.
Hiashi leaned his head back and the palm missed slightly!
He slapped Ryu's chest, but Ryu moved to the side slightly and spun the other way abruptly, punching at Hiashi's head incredibly fast!
Hiashi's heart was shocked as he jumped back, Ryu shot after him, spinning from the missed punch, using his other arm like a whip as he slapped Hiashi's shoulder.
Hiashi groaned and pushed out his palm, Ryu backed off and stared at Hiashi's movements while blocking his palms.
Something to mention was that Hiashi was extremely depressed at this moment, Ryu was reading his movements as though he had Byakugan himself! His new technique was improving quickly as he mimicked Hiashi's Gentle Palm Fist!
Lion heads made of Chakra exploded on Hiashi's fists as he attacked Ryu again, Ryu didn't even react as he continued blocking and analyzing.
He nodded and muttered "Not bad… But it's not enough." as he raised his arms and slapped Hiashi's palms to the side, he flashed to Hiashi and twisted his body, shooting his palm like a snake!
Hiashi's eyes widened and the palm stopped right in front of Hiashi's forehead.
Ryu stopped and stood up, smiling "Good fight, Old man Hyuga."
Hiashi was covered in sweat and looked at Ryu in shock, saying sincerely "You're good, Kid. No wonder you're still alive."
Ryu pursed his lips and looked at Hiashi, replying "Didn't expect an old man like you to understand this." Hiashi sneered, "I'm also a Major family."
Ryu laughed and slapped his shoulder, saying "I didn't forget, old man. Keep your pants on." Hiashi's mouth twitched, who talks like this… Ryu continued regardless, "Anyway, Old man. I hope you know that your little family is in deep danger…"
Hiashi's face turned ugly and he looked at Hanabi, saying "Not here, follow me." Ryu waved at the dumbfounded Hanabi, smiling "Would you like to learn from me, little Hanabi?"
Hiashi jumped and held Hanabi, glaring at Ryu.
Ryu touched his nose and said with a little shock, "Relax… I'm 25 years old…" Hiashi sneered at the corner of his mouth, replying "Who knows." Ryu was stunned, staring at him as he said "She's a kid! I appreciate talent, you know!"
Hiashi retorted simply, "Orochimaru also appreciated talent." Ryu was dumbfounded, staring at him completely speechless.
Hiashi brought Hanabi away, adding "Follow me."
Ryu followed him while complaining, "It's just a daughter, is there a need to be like this? She has talent and you're going to teach her yourself instead of letting me teach her…" Hiashi sent Hanabi away and said "Prepare Tea."
Before he sat down at a small table, sitting on his knees very elegantly.
Ryu sat on the ground, resting his elbow on his knee as he leaned forward, saying "I don't like tea." Hiashi ignored him and added, "Add Honey." Ryu's eyes lit up and he said nothing.
Hiashi sighed helplessly, asking "So why did you take in Hinata."
Ryu laid out a notebook with his Imitation Taijutsu notes, he started writing his new revelations as he replied "Because she has the most potential in your entire family. Kurenai is burying her in the dust, of course it doesn't help that Hiruzen is suppressing your Hyuga clan…"
He suddenly chuckled and added, "Although, you are truly ruthless." Hiashi received the tea and sipped quietly.
Ryu pointed the pen at him, smiling "Dividing the Clan into two branches with the Caged Bird, causing friction in between the two branches to keep Hiruzen's heart at ease. Should I praise you or call you an idiot?"
Hiashi froze and said "I don't know what you're talking about." Ryu rolled his eyes and said "Nobody can hear us, old man. Stop fooling around, even his Telescopic Technique can't peep here."
He pointed his pen and said "Alright, let me see the Gentle Palm Fist Technique." He looked at Hiashi's troubled face and rolled his eyes again, saying with a snort "Do I need your Taijutsu? It's not even as good as the one I created on a whim! I have my own style, Gentle Palm Fist doesn't suit me at all."
He shook his head and turned back to the book, saying "After I improve the taijutsu and merge it with Water Stream Rock Shattering Fist, it'll be much better. I'll return you the better one at any rate. This is only for Hinata's training."
He wrote down in the book, not noticing Hiashi's face change several times from shocked to angry to helplessly to a sigh, he waved and said "Bring me Gentle Palm Fist."
A few minutes later
Ryu was reading the Technique and muttered to himself as he wrote down in his notebook.
Hiashi sipped his tea and watched, shocked in his heart.
He could naturally see what Ryu was writing and he wasn't copying the Gentle Palm Fist! He was improving the technique in the book! He was taking references and noting down key points as well as weak points!
Hiashi felt that his Gentle Palm Fist improved from just reading the solutions to the weaknesses of Gentle Palm Fist!
He was blown away and stared at the notebook with shining eyes.
