Chapter 12: Eight

A sedated tear fell down the God's cheek; his body looked motionless compared to how tangled his mind was.

In tears the inner demon seemed to plead for help and there, in that moment, an emotion tended to reach in and give the kind of nurture that changes lives forever.

His hands slowly trailed his face once again, gradually feeling the salty water his eyes originated.

These tears were genuine. He really was shedding tears. Now he really believed this female held so great a power, for no one could make the mighty Asebia feel.

He should let her die. He should finish her and send her to rot in hell for making him so weak and gullible. He should tear her, piece by piece and feed to the vultures.

His thoughts were of pure decease and demise, but his heart would never let him accomplish it. He could not kill her....he knew he couldn't.

The God of Sin has to find out why he was being controlled by this pathetic human female.

"Abaddon" Crown Asebia thundered, standing up slowly with the female in his arms.

"Yes Master" Abaddon countered, his heads arcuated in reverence and utter dread, which still encompassed him. Maybe this is when he would be sent into inferno perdition.

That thought poured gasoline onto the spark of fear in his belly. It's not like his thought was alright; He was very much far away from any inner peace.

Abaddon took his Master's words and fashioned them into a knife, sinking it in with cold black eyes. Fear is shackles, fear is a knife in the gut slowly twisted, fear is a constant hammer on the head. Yet fear also evaporates like water under an early summer sun. When fear comes, confidence always walks past with its head held high, because like the ghosts of children's nightmares, fear is an illusion.

Why did he verbalise in the first place? His mind contemplated, his throat impetuously drying up. He should have just clutched his diabolic mouth shut and left the female to die.

But that he did not do.

Contrastingly, he let his pity get to him forcing him to save the female. Now what should he do? Should he surrender or bravely face the punishments his Master would order?

"Prepare me a ride for the lady faints"

"I shall not do it again Master, please do not send me to hell" Abaddon gulped, his need for water raging.

But then, he realised what His Master had said. Did he hear him clearly or was his ear not working right? He slowly raised his head to see the Sin God observing him with untold rage.

Master..ma.."

"Thou dost have two seconds. Obey or die"

Abaddon did not know what to do. He wanted to ask his Master on the destination but being threatened, he ran as fast as his demon speed power could take him.

He gulped as he ran towards a Ferrari 488 Spider, knowing he had the key with him. The car was painted a classic Ferrari red

He opened the door and got inside, knowing very well the Sin God will appear in the car in seconds.

And true to his words, Asebia suddenly appeared in the car with the female in his arms.

"Now drive"

Abaddon needed not to be told twice. He started the car and the cabin vibrated with a sound that was high and animalistic, a ferocious creature scrabbling in the engine bay behind us, anxious to break free. Abaddon had never driven a car in centuries. The last he drove was a carriage and he hoped that he would not fail in carrying His Master's orders.

He stomped on the gas and his body suddenly stuffed into the seat, his bone marrow seeming to be cooked, and soft viscera muddled into jelly.

He gulped as the car started accelerating, praying to the Seven Deadly Sins that he would not crash. He would not die or the Sun God won't either but no doubt he would be sent to eternal damnation.

"Do take me to the nearest Physician. Not a time to be wasted" Asebia said, his eyes fixated on the female's face. He would have healed her if he had the powers. But alas, his powers were made to kill and destroy. He did not want to kill the female.

He wanted her alive.

Abaddon drove, his eyes looking around. Now where will he find a healer's home? Figuring how to drive is one thing but locating a healer's home is another task on its own. Using his demonic eye vision, he scanned the environment, hoping he could find a clue. He searched, his heart threatening to read out of his chest due to pure agitation and sheer nervousness.

And then he found a building. It was not far from where they were, buy he could see that humans in white clothing were wheeling a man who looked sick into a very big building.

"This must be a healer's home. Although a Eid healer's home" He thought.

How can a healer's home be this big? Where they building it to reach heaven or did they not build it on purpose?

None of that mattered to Abaddon, as far as he had found the location everything was fine. At least he had secured his head for now. He could worry about why the healer's home looked like heaven itself.

A minute later, the car stopped in a hospital's parking lot.

"We arrive Master"

The Sin God finally tore his eyes from the female's face and looked outside.

"What in damnation is this place?"
