Chapter 17: [Shido's Death]
"Alright, If you all are ready let's head to the parking lot because that's where the school bus is." Ren said.
They all nodded their heads and hurried off towards the school parking lot.

In the corridors and on the stairs they easily smashed the heads of those zombies that got in their way.
And it wasn't long when Ren and his group arrived in front of the school's entrance.
But when Ren looked towards the parking lot, he frowned.
'Looks like I'll take that person's soul faster than I thought...' Ren thought.
"W-What is Shido Sensei doing?!"
Rei who was looking in the direction that Ren was looking at couldn't help but scream in surprise which made the group follow Rei's gaze and get shocked too then they hastened their steps there.

One of the students screamed in shock when they saw the Zombies who moved out of the bus and ambushed Shido's body who then fell to the ground.
Ren who was acting as if he was surprised, quickly smashed the zombie's head with his staff.
Then after that he shook his head at the people around him.
The surrounding students understood what Ren meant and only sighed.
Ren who saw this didn't think much and smashed Shido's head and threw his body away.
"You're so mean Ren..."
A male student who knew Ren said as Ren smashed Shido's head like trash.
"At this critical moment that has hit the world, Humans only think with one goal in mind. Did you know?" he asked.

Seeing no response Ren then continued.

Ren who heard that just laughed which made Kyoko twist his stomach.
"Ah! it hurts..."
Ren said while holding his stomach and pretending to be in pain.
Kyoko just pouted and looked away, but Ren saw the corners of her lips lift.
"Alright listen, we'll be going and leaving school for now."
"Ren what do you mean leave school for now?" Saeko asked.
But Ren didn't answer and just smiled mysteriously.
"Okay, we are ready too. You can-"
Ren didn't have time to finish his sentence when Kyoko cut him off.
"Fine, fine, I know" Kyoko said boredly.
While Ren could only freeze and his smile twitched.
"Haaa... alright" Ren just sighed and sat in front beside the driver's seat.
With that the bus started moving, quietly and sometimes some zombies got in the way, but Ren just said...
"Crush and run over them."
Kyoko trembled but still followed Ren's words and ran over them.
"Don't mind them, they're already dead so what you ran over just now were the undead by instinct alone or you could say Zombies."
Ren comforts Kyoko and succeeds.
'That's right, Kyoko has never tried to kill that ugly Zombie before huh...' Ren thought.
"You'll get used to it later, trust me." Ren said to Kyoko and winked.
Whereas Kyoko just pouted playfully and smiled sweetly afterwards.
